Great place to take the kids. Nice walk. Fun to bring bird seed down to feed the ducks. Kids love it.

Fantastic time at Canal fest. The only gripe is paying for both day tickets & then again for night tickets. We were there all day & night but had to pay twice. Thankfully my son had a great time. Its also a nice place just to enjoy the scenery on a spring, fall or summer day!

Beautiful peaceful park along the canal. Nice for walking, fishing, pokemon hunting lol. Theres restrooms and picnic tables in the pavilion, but theyre currently closed due to covid19 in addition to the swings removed.

Glad Rome is making their canal park look great! I absolutely love it.I just hope they continue with it; and do something with that stupid useless building that sits along the river front. Move it, use or do something with it! Or move the farmers market down there and let them use the building.

Good place to go during summer and fall. Nice spring to swim with but some of the place have full trash cans.

Bellamy Harbor Park is a nice well maintained family oriented park. There are kayak rentals, bathroom facilities, limited wading/swimming, and 2 separate hiking trails. A nice no frills place to spend some leisure time. Dogs are welcome. Watch out for goose poop.

Nice park! A lot of good area to fish. A nice kayak and canoe launch and on the other side of the park, a nice concrete boat launch. All in all a sweet little park.

Very scenic place to walk and enjoy nature. Always enjoy the time spent there, even if its raining. Look forward to the different events that happen during the summer there put on by the city of Rome.

Its quite and relaxing time too fish didnt catch to much but I am a release especially when the canals are contaminated with oils and gases from boats

I took a walk along the canal edge during my last visit. parked on the opposite side (Bellamy Harbor Park East) while here and enjoyed my hike through the snow towards downtown Rome as I crossed the Bridge located on the west side of the park. Looks like a nice place to hike in the summer as maybe a change from a normal trail...You people have some nice parks at your finger tips.

Sheltered dockage with free electric. The polling were in bad shape and it was a little scary getting on and off the boat.

Went for Canal Fest. Enjoyed but 1 rent a cop was over zelous

Went to see the Corning Glass Barge and replica canal boat. This park has been getting upgraded every year. Has a great kayak ramp and decent parking. Access to the trails too.

Enjoyable place.

Sadly, we enjoyed the pavilion just before the opening. Nice place for a rest. We would have loved to be able to access the amenities for cyclists on the ECT and fill our water bottles. Hope to make this an overnight stop next time through.

The new pavillion was beautiful even though the bathrooms were closed. The water tower looked amazing and the park itself was great to walk around when we were there mid October as fall ended and winter weather was setting in. The walk along the canal was great and the kids loved playing soccer in the grass.

Went to the Rome October Fest on Saturday. There was a great band and lots of food trucks. We took the family dog and had a good time. The city needs to really advertise this event. The crowd was sparse at best while we were there. They should put in lights and stay open until midnight. Closing around six was a tease. I love this city.

We moved here from San Diego, CA and have always enjoyed outdoors activities. The Bellamy Harbor Park facility quickly became one of our favorite places to visit in our new home state. We have watched the improvements over the years which now include an expanded walking trail, kayak launch, fishing area thats handicapable, brand new picnic area, bathroom complex, docks, boat launch and wooden bench swings. It has a bicycle rental station and is close to several sit-down restaurants we love. We look forward to the Harborfest every year and greatly enjoyed the Corning Museum of Glass Barge. I encourage all ages to visit this beautiful piece of home.

Bellamy harbor park is a great place to fish and play. Beautiful dock set on the water, nice picnic areas for an afternoon lunch and much more. You would be hard pressed to find a better place to spend your day outside. Links up to the eerie canal trail for an enhanced historic experience.

Rotary Annual Summer event today at the Harbor with garden and photography contests in the pavilion, and water events, amusement park_new dinos, and fireworks. Great new colored lighting on the bridge and walking trail. Nice park during daylight hours.....I wouldnt hang around after dark. The city of Rome has made a lot of improvements here and I understand there are more to come. Very cool historic place to visit.

Stopped as we bicycled across state. Surprised on a Sunday afternoon that the restrooms were locked up tight!

No facilities at dock. Public toilets are locked and far from the dock. A mile and a half walk to Denny which is a good place for a meal

Nice park for walking & fishing. Hand boat portage, but have a way to get in the water. Map of Erie& Mohawk trails. Bike rental (free) with app. Tie offs for motor boats. Bait vending machine. Put out portopott in summer. Boat launch for motor boats across st. At navigation center.

It was beauti had the first gay pride rally there on June 14.
