Amazing! Not only are the employees nice but the interior is so nice! They have reclining seats which are so comfortable and this is my family’s favorite movie theater!

Had an amazing time at this movie theatre . Only a few seats per room with plenty of space in between rows. You can’t really see the other rows. Every seat reclines and opens a foot rest . Electronic controls . Plus, arm rests are movable so if pulled upwards your seat becomes just like a home sofa. Perfect for dates or to take kids and keep them next to you. I will probably return

Great movie theater. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The recliner seats were very comfy (better than the ones pictured), and the temperature was cozy. I was surprised they also sell beer and wine. I will be back to see another movie.

The most generous and detailed staff ever!! Beautiful and clean facility!! Not only do they have wine, but if your unsure of what kind you want they will let you sample some!! The best theater Ive every been to!!!!! Thank you for the experience!!!

The seats are comfortable, but the tickets are fairly expensive. This theater does not offer a Mayo employee discount, whereas the other two main theaters in town do. The popcorn is just okay; they do offer a variety of popcorn seasonings which is nice.

Nice enough theater with standard pricing and the latest releases. Its been renovated, perhaps a time or two, so the patchwork is evident. The chateau theme feels a little unusual to me, more like a dated Caesars Palace. Cleanliness is okay, but Id say room for improvement. There are leather recliners that go back really far. The cushioning is softer than I prefer but others may like it. I commend the team and manager on duty for their kind service. They were very considerate and efficient on this particular night that their credit card machines did not work. Will come back again.

Enjoyed reclining in the second row.the place was sold out for Star wars.but perfectly comfortable. Theres a feminine Warrior updating the job description in Star wars. Quite impressive . Plus the ties that bind old battle heroes with the new. In that galaxy it appears war happens because of evil, not because they didnt like other types of beings.the camaraderie was wide spread.A staff member was very helpful with introducing us with computer cashiers. Obviously, its been a while since weve been to a movie. Our next time will hopefully be sooner. May there be a 20-20 of clear vision amongst us. Be against wrong doing, not against fellow earthlings.

I refuse to go to any other mainstream theatre in Rochester! Though this theatre has undergone many changes of ownership recently, it has always maintained cleanliness, acceptable volume levels, and fair prices, especially for matinees. The recliner seating is genius, leaving plenty of foot room and space between aisles for passers by. Ive even sat in the very front row, and being able to lean back made it a pleasant experience!

Wonderful environment, friendly and very helpful staff, each & every visit.... The atmosphere is outstanding! With its star shinny dome theater ceiling and seasonal decor, it makes bringing the family fun and exciting for both parents & children... The entertainment rooms have perfect screen sizes, very spacious seating arrangements along with cozy reclining pleather chairs easy to wipe down for the children, keeping you safe from viruses throughout the year...(wink wink) thanks again CMX Chateau!!

Was a good visit. The place is clean and well staffed. Bathrooms were clean. The armrests for the chairs fold up, however they stay in your way when folded up, preventing a comfortable cuddle position if thats a thing you are looking for. Thats my only drawback tho. Ill go again

My family has always had a great experience here. Great food, comfortable seats and the staff is very friendly and helpful! A special thanks to the manager on duty today, he went above and beyond to fix a mistake that we had made. Its the only place in Rochester that we choose and recommend to others. Recliners are real nice. Staff is friendly. Wife said bathrooms are kinda yucky which is only reason I dont give five stars, but you know how women are. Probably was a drop of pee on the seat. Just wipe it off. Anyway good theater.

The staff are very friendly. Always able to get a seat. Seats are roomy and comfortable. They serve wine! Luke the bartender is the best and is always up to make someone smile.

Always good to have movie theater around. Keep an eye on special exhibitions that only stay for a week.

Haven’t been here in awhile because my family preferred a different theater. Went there tonight to grab some popcorn to-go and the staff was so welcoming and nice. I ordered too much and couldn’t carry it all and they even offered to help carry it to my car. Loved the atmosphere!

Visiting the area and wanted to take in a movie. Reservations were super easy online and took full advantage of Tuesday $5 shows. Movie theater is well kept with great recliner chairs. One key item of note was the absence of the glass window pane used by other theaters making the screen view perfect. Would visit again. If back in the area.

Best theater in town. Reclining seats with plenty of space. First row for some of the main screens is fine. Some of the side screens, first row is too close to take it all in.

Has the best seats in town- literally! The reclining chairs are awesome, and add a level of luxury to any movie. Its a movie theater though, so of course, the concession prices are absurdly high.

I came in today for the 3:15 excited to see the avengers movie with my sister. So I booked tickets the day before. I came in with her and she let the guy at the front desk know. He said oh thanks for getting me fired and booking tickets online. I was very confused and frustrated with him. he said he was just giving me a hard time because everybody else was. I had no intention of giving him a hard time and I felt uncomfortable the whole movie about it. I was very excited about going and enjoying the movie but next time I see a movie its not going to be at that theater.

Seats are nice (its standard at like every theater in the twin cities metro, so nbd). Im a little disappointed that they havent updated like anything else...kinda not worth the extra they charge

Really great place, staff is easy going. Food is great and place you can bring the kids to unwind.

We go to this theatre with adult groups and children groups. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. I cant comment on the food as I dont generally dont eat at the movies. I love the seats. They are comfy and the divisions between rows make everything feel more private. Especially when this is a kids movie. Not sure I can ever go back to the old theatre seat configuration.

Staff are always Soo friendly, get good food and at a decent pace. Good drink choices. There is a younger man that works the concession stand and he is always so enthusiastic to help out. One of my favorite employees. The recliners are always comfortable and clean.

This is my go to theatre. The seats are super comfy as they are the recliner type and movie times always work for me. The staff seem a little .. well, lets face it, they are young and are working at a movie theater. There is the option to buy adult beverages but there never seems to be anyone available for that... but its probably because I come there pretty late at night. Overall Im giving them a 5 stars. Its a movie theatre and things are how they are expected to be. The quality of movie is good to me!

Theatre is getting a bit shabby. Admission prices dont compete with other theatres in Rochester. Besides our group of 7 there were only 3 more groups in our theatre. May be lower prices to get more butts in the seats. Concession area had trash overflowing. After getting our popcorn and sodas I told young man waiting on me...I hope you have a better day because you certainly dont appear to be happy to be here. Given a choice of theatres-Chateau is the last on my list. A reminder again today why I dont come here.

Love going here each time we come to Rochester.

I love this theater. The power reclining seats are comfortable and easy to use. Being able to reserve specific seats is a great bonus to me. The concessions are of good quality, albeit expensive (but thats how they make any money, so I dont fault them). The theaters and restrooms have always been clean when I have visited. And the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Always love coming here for the recliner chairs. So comfortable and relaxing for a movie night. Theatre is usually clean and maintained. Sometimes the lines for concessions can be long and time consuming however. It is nice you can buy tickets online and bypass the front desk. One other nice thing is that on Wednesdays they have BOGO ( buy one get one) wine.

Recliners very comfortable like home. Matinee over $16 for 2. Can get better rates elsewhere and survive without recliners. Concessions high thought we were at a pro sporting event.

I wad just visiting family, but we came here to watch isle of dogs. Great selection of beer and decent wines. Havent been to many places that allow bringing your drinks into the theater, and this one tops the list. Oh, and the seats are supremely comfortable. Wish I had one of these back home!

This is by far my favorite theatre in Rochester. The service is normal, which is not a bad thing. I personally have never had bad service from any movie theatre Ive ever been to. The process are normal considering they only go up, especially when it comes to popcorn. However, where this theatre excels is in the amount of money they spent in making sure the seats are comfortable. This to me makes sense. If Im going to spend the next two hours during in my butt, please have comfortable seats. It feels as though Im in the comfort of my item home. The seats are recliners and super lush. You dont feel like you need to fight over the arm rest when the arm rest is practically the size of a normal sized chair. Again, by far the best place to see a movie and youll rarely see me in any other theatre in town.

Worst experience I have ever had with a theater. Tried to talk to a manager about a ticket I bought while talking over the phone. The manager literally hung up on me & still kept my money from my purchase. Was once a good theater years ago but has deteriorated since then.

Wonderful theater! Seats are insanely comfortable and recline! Popcorn is expensive but it is expensive everywhere. Being able to get mixed drinks and or beers before during or after the movie is a great bonus as well! Staff is always kind and helpful. Bathrooms are always clean as well. Always a nice time with my wife when we go!

Cozy theater! Saw Detective Pikachu, they had a very tasty pokemon themed cocktail on the menu at a pretty decent price for a theater. Staff and management are super friendly and helpful.

This was the best theater in Rochester however its really gone downhill lately. My biggest gripe is the actual physical condition of the movie theater. It used to be really nice, however one is greeted by out of order signs everywhere and holes in drywall? Recliners are still nice, but for the price you pay they might want to invest in a handy man or something.

Great time, great comfy, quiet, and enjoyable seats! Reasonably priced for 2 at $21.98. Get to pick your seats as soon as you pay for them. Staff will help you to your seats if you buy lots of food like we did! We pigged out as we havent been to a theater in years.

The Chateau Paragon WAS our favorite movie palace..The recliners are great! However they limit the amount of attendees to every movie.. there is just less seating space!.. So we pay the extra fees and book our seats online.. It is so easy !. Before they were recently acquired we simply placed our home printed tickets under a scanner and walked in.. That has all changed now..NOW you must wait in line with your home printed ticket and enter the numbers into their computer.. Simple ? NO! there is a line to the computers AND not all their computers are working.. IF their computer does not like your numbers you have to get into the general ticket line and wait again for them to straighten out their mess.. So it has become a hassle there to get in to see a movie.. Yes I was not the only one going through this experience..Their concession stand prices are much higher.. The lines are much longer and as of the night we were there customer satisfaction appeared to be at an all time low ...

Theater seemed to be a little old and outdated.I did like the fact that not only did the chairs recline and have cuo holders they also had a little tray for if you had food items was very helpful for my brother who had Nachos

Friendly service and great seats!

Warning to people sensitive to the heat and hoping for a respite from the high temps outside!! This last week, part of my family went to see a movie and the air conditioning wasn’t working. There was a small fan set up that was meant to cool the whole theater. Tonight, 6 nights later, we went again and the air conditioning is still broken. It had to be somewhere between 80°-85°. Apparently, it’s not working in half the theaters, per the employee we spoke with after the show.They did offer us movie passes but should have warned us prior to going in!Ask if the air is working in the theater your movie is playing in before purchasing your tickets!!

The recliners are comfortable. The atmosphere was nice, clean and only $5 just afternoon on Tuesday.

Sure, the teau is burned out on the sign in front, but thats the only broken feature about this place.CMX Cha has recliner seats and rows so you arent likely to be inconvenienced by other patrons, no matter how tall.The bar has ciders from local orchards, and the snack bar staff is helpful- its clear that they love movies.Restrooms are clean and plentiful, and Ive never seen a line.Its neat that they still have a video arcade, and a part of me hopes that theyll partner with Machine Shed to rotate machines and keep things interesting.Ample parking, even with the park-and-ride lot Ive rarely had to hunt for a spot.

Good place to watch movies! Their recliners are great one! Better place than other theaters!

Zero enforcement of cell phone policy. Watched an entire movie with lady beside me on her cell phone. Notified management, they told her to stop. She didn’t, and they did nothing. The management should enforce a zero tolerance policy as other theaters are doing. Kick a few people out and everyone gets the message quickly. I’m not going back!

$5 Tuesdays? Awesome.Wife and I got 2 tickets, 2 beers and a pretzel for $25. Good clean establishment, solid audio, just a great spot to catch a movie.

Best theater in town. Clean, reasonably priced, and newer everything make it your best choice in rochester.The only thing they could work on is a better stocked concessions. Running out of large lids makes for poor sales and something that probably shouldnt ever happen.

The seats are awesome, you could actually fall asleep. The ticket prices are kind of high. They also have a bar which is nice. The best thing is the game room. My godson and his friends love playing in there when we have time to kill. Overall, its a nice vicinity.

Get hammered while sitting back in a lounge chair watching the continuous and disastrous downward trend of creativity in the film industry? Yes please. Came here to see deadpool 2 and yes movie was awesome LOVED IT but watching it as if I was home made it better. All I was missing was the lack of pants.

Nice. Place. Prices a bit high

Like most movie theaters the prices have risen over time but this is a theater that is worth the price rise. They always have the newest movies and the reclining seats make movie viewing feeling more like home than being at a theater. I also enjoy that you get to butter your own popcorn so you never end up with too little. The prices are also a little lower if you go earlier in the day which is a bonus.

I dont know why but the tables for the seats wouldnt allow for us to lift the arms and that meant that you couldnt cuddle with your girlfriend during the movie

Went to see Infinity War here. Whats not to like? Friendly employees, alcoholic drinks of youre 21 or older, comfortable seating, good food. They really make your time there amazing.

Me and my wife saw Spiderman Homecoming. The movie was good but she was a little annoying (but not too much though). The popcorn was good but our seats were too close together. The guy next to me was plucking his eyebrows and I asked him to stop but he didnt, however he put all the hair in a baggie so it wasnt a big issue. My wife may have been flirting with the eyebrow man, probably not. 3 stars for friendly service, 2 for Spiderman, and negative 1 for not enough popcorn (my wife are it all). Also their toilet seats were not very ergonomic.

Our favorite theater, we go out of our way to use this theater. Comfortable leather electric recliners, and more room. Candy/food is horribly overpriced, but where isnt it...

The food was good and reclining seats are a bonus

Went here to see Isle of Dogs with my gf and her kids about a month ago. Love the reclining seats, but you really have to get here early since the pick of the selection comes with an early arrival. Added bonus for the Mayo discount for employees and relations (but that may be changing over time).
