We love it here! Water access to swimming (at the waterfall, not in the ponds ) hiking, fishing, wildlife, picnic tables and a playground. We love to come feed the ducks and geese and then go hike. Family friendly and pretty clean.

Very beautiful views. Nice paths. Clean for the most part. Wished playgrounds were larger and it had more recreational areas. Maybe a skatepark, etc.

Its a beautiful place, I love seeing the goslings (baby geese) in the spring. Theres a park for kids and a waterfall nearby. Unfortunately theres a lot of trash and past the lake is a bit sketchy but its a nice place overall.

Very nice park. However, theres no restroom facilities but plenty of shelter, volleyball court, open playground, fishing, wildlife and beautiful nature sceneries. Just off the Cardinal Greenway trail.

This is a very nice, clean park. There is plenty of parking in the back of the park with access to the main trail. Stop and see the waterfall too while you are there.

Lots of geese, the pond looked full but mom said it was low. You could see the ground out in the middle where ducks were standing.

So much to do. Volleyball, feeding ducks, fishing, and the play ground is huge

Fun park with pond for fishing, or just enjoying the view and feeding grease and ducks. Waterway with waterfall to enjoy wading in, on hot days. Community building able to rent for functions. Playground for children. Picnic tables and barbecue pits ready to use and grill for small or large groups. Volley ball net in sand.

My family and I love coming to the playground at Springwood Park! It is located in a beautiful and somewhat secluded location which means that foot traffic is a bit lower than most parks. The only drawback is the lack of facilities nearby. If you need to use the restroom, there is one porta potty, and it is not regularly maintained. There is plenty of things to do here for everyone including a pond for fishing, trails for hiking, volleyball courts to play on, and nature to enjoy.

I am from the area and grew up with spring wood being a beautiful park with fully functioning bathrooms. Presently theres no bathroom other than a porta potty and also the grounds are very poorly kept. There is what feels like abandonment in the mix.Richmond Parks and rec could do better

Beautiful park but restrooms with running water would have made it better. Drove from Indy to ride the Cardinal Greenway. It was a good place to park with only that one exception.

The water would be around ankle deep...wading the creek on hot days, the falls are a blessing to the children...it would be more of taking long walks on the never ending trails at springwood park....

I attended our Family Reunion here today. It was my first time visiting this park. Its nice and clean. The reunion got off without a hitch. We paid homage to loved ones who have crossed over, praying for fam that couldnt make it, and we as the next generation of the old ones will leave this yearly legacy with our children and Grandchildren. There was plenty of food, memories, meeting some family for the first time, and a lot of hugs and smooches. Today was a good day.
