I applied for wall space about a week ago and never got any kind of response. I also tried applying for a working studio, no response either despite the promise of a reply within 48 hours. I understand that resources are limited for everyone right now, especially for the arts, but Im extremely discouraged by this and Ill probably be looking elsewhere.

It’s a great space featuring mostly local artists. What’s not to love? They host a variety of events and the staff really seems to care about the community. There’s a bunch of artist workshops in the back, where you can meet some people as they work. More of the interesting work is hidden away back there unfortunately, with the more commercial artwork in the front.

Art Works is a wonderful opportunity to find and purchase any kind of art you might enjoy! They rent studio spaces as well as wall display space. Monthly All-Media shows are open to the public and are jurored by some of Richmonds finest artists and educators.

Have work hung here. They go above and beyond to help and guide artist.

Love this venue!!! I had my husbands surprise birthday party here in October 2018. He was so surprised, he thought we were going to see an art exhibition. The guests loved the venue also. A few of the guests purchased some art pieces. Everyone had a ball. The staff was so very helpful. I dont think I could have put it together without the help of Albert. I would highly recommend this venue.

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful and Albert and Glenda are very helpful with everything and make sure you have everything you need. Everything was beautifully set up and we had so much fun dancing the night away. This is such a unique space for any occasion and if youre a chill, fun bride like I was this is definitely the place to have your wedding at. Art Works is fantastic!

This place is amazing, its a gallery and a studio for many different artists. There are painters, sculptors, jewelry smiths, glass blowers, etc; all forms of medium are evoked in this place. If you really want a great source for local art this is the place. There are plenty of works already completed on display for sale. You can also commission works to fit your exact wants. I really enjoyed walking assertions and seeing the talent that is on display. Do yourself a favor and at least give it a walkthrough.

Great little place with all sorts of different art and artists. Super place for Richmond artists to work and display their work.

I loved it!!! They have I think 70 different studios rented by artists and they all have their own style and use whatever media they want so like theres all types of painting plus photography, a bit of ceramic, etc. (some rooms have candy). Prices are from $10 to like 3 grand so if you like something check the price! The staff is really nice. So nice. My boyfriend and I got a painting and a photograph and told the woman we needed help wrapping because we are on a trip and she wrapped it so well. Also they have a Cafe and a dog.

It gives artist a place to work, display, and teach their passions. How can you not love a place like that.

We used Art Works for our wedding venue on 9/8/18. We couldn’t have been more happy with our choice. Albert was great to work with from beginning to end! He helped to accommodate every need we had. We received a lot of compliments for our guests on how unique and fun the venue was. Thank you Art Works for helping to make our day so special!

Im never going to buy generic art again! After discovering Art Works and their casual gallery-style shopping experience, Im a changed man. I never realized amazing (really, actually GOOD) art by local artists could be so affordable and accessible!

We had our wedding at this incredible venue. Albert and his team helped our event run smoothly and were always available when we had questions. The artwork is amazing and our pictures turned out perfect.

At an exhibit, I overheard one of the artists explaining his pen & ink squiggles, ... and then I got the idea to hold the pen in my left hand.... With few exceptions, thats what passes for art. However, the neighborhood of Manchester is pretty cool to walk around a bit.

Local gallery with work space and a shop for RVA artists. Can also be rented for events. Went to a Cronic Pain Fair. Was a great event put on by local support group.

Spacious gallery, a lot of really good artist on display. Area is an up and coming area with a few new businesses an complexes.

Great space to rent for small to moderate events, beautiful inside. Lots of artwork to be displayed. Parking is another issue in itself. Expect to park & walk based on the location of this venue.

ArtWorks Inc is a great place to go to view the works of numerous artists. Its a showplace and you can purchase local art, including my own...so Im biased. Overall, a relaxing atmosphere.

This is the most disrespectful place ever. I did my art work “wrong” and she grabbed it from my table and said someone else was going to fix it. There’s no right or wrong in art and we should include other people and stop saying to others that their things is wrong because is not how we want to.

Great variety of artists here and at Plant Zero (connected). If you need photographs, glass, paintings, mixed media, an art gallery to visit, ETC - you will most likely find what you like here or through a connection here! The Zero Cafe is small and has probably all youd need for a small craving: coffee, juices, food.
