Awesome place for all ages to visit! So much to look at and the details are impressive. The volunteers running the trains are informative, friendly, and ready to answer any questions you have. Admission is inexpensive compared to the amount of time youll spend exploring the models. Saw kids from 2yr to teen, and many adults engaging and enjoying the models and trains.

I really enjoyed the place. The detail and heart they put into this train set is outstanding. The size is awesome too and that they have 3 different train size tracks. Its also fun hearing about it from the different people that volunteer their time. Its also next to a beautiful park so bring a picnic for the time after you are done with the train. Very good experience. Its also great for kids too since they have tunnels with little windows so the kids can see.

A superb place for a model train lover. Displays 3 most popular scales N, HO and O in large, highly detailed layouts that depict most of the popular railroad attractions in California. The HO display was my favourite, the N scale one was fabulous too. The volunteers and staff were very friendly. The only negative observation is that the layouts could definitely use better maintenance in many areas. I understand that its a big facility and difficult to manage only with volunteer workforce, but with a little better maintenance this place can become a great tourist spot.

An amazing place to see. It has most of the skills of electric trains. The scenery is fantastic. It is also very Californian. And any given time there’s hundreds of trains and dozens of them moving. Absolutely phenomenal sad to see.

So cute! Cheap and a great time. Lil small hole in the wall place but so much fun to watch the trains go and look at all the tiny details.

Super fun for all ages. Don’t expect all the trains to be moving, but there’s tons of scenery to look at, and always some hidden meaning or scenarios. Great park across the street, too

My family became members and are excited to return to the sites spectacular creativity.

It is enjoyable to see the kids watch the trains. There is also a game where you are given asheet and have to look for items in the extensive layout. Best to come in days when the model trains are running.

Two words.:GO THERE

Twee! An impressively large terrain filled with model townships, stations, and sooooo many trains. Grumpy older dudes occasionally suffer to be interrupted from their passion to answer questions. The slight scorn for not having things like scale series memorized is part of the charm.

It was closed on Saturday for maintenance but a volunteer stood by and let people roam for no charge. Very nice person.

Had higher expectations though was worth visiting - installations are very detailed and pretty

Wonderful place for kids that love trains

Biggest model train place Ive been. Though I havent been to many. Kinda hot in there on a hot day and it doesnt take much time to see everything. Still fun and interesting though.

I enjoyed place look for going back my daughter.

My husband, who is a train fanatic, said that this is a really big model railroad museum. They only run trains on sundays and the hours are listed incorrectly, so I took a picture of their posted hours. A great place to visit!

Not well known place but really a good place for kids. Has lot of train models in second floor.
