The playground area here is amazing. Bring the kids over and turn them loose, an hour or two later take them home and have quite rest of a day. Better yet pack a lunch and if its summer time let them play in the water park area also. Either way and you will have happy kids and parents also.

I spent a lot of time driving around and seeing Glen Miller Park. I have missed it. While in Richmond this weekend I looked at the other parks and my compliments to Parks and Rec for taking care of them. As I worked 4 over a decade in Parks and Rec in Dearborn Michigan I know it must be challenging with todays budgetary concerns. Kudos.

Please remember Richmond, pick up your own trash! My kids love Glen Miller Park. And so does Toby. Good bathrooms and working drinking fountain. Splash pad and playground together is awesome, they can play all day!

Very nice place for family events. Very open with lots of room not crowded or packed in all together!

The park has always been taken care of. Its always well kept. Theres always normal family events going on. The play equipment is tons of fun for the kids. The splash pad is always a winner with the younger babies. Its a toddlers Kings Island.

We would love to see the Springwood Park beach be restored back to its 1930 era greatness. Such a beautiful park. The Deane fam loves this area and its historical significance

It Great place for family members of all ages! The scenery is beautiful and its a very clean and there are lots of really nice activities that go on during the summer there.

Very well made park with sides for smaller kids and a side for older kids. Lots of fun things to do. Lots of space for the little ones to run out there energy, also plenty of places for the adults to sit with clear unobstructed view of there little ones.

I have ran a lot of miles around the park. It is a scenic place with lots of good hills for training runs or walking.

We rented Dons Cabin for my granddaughters birthday party. It was awesome. Very roomy, kitchen was very nice, restrooms inside. Very nice. Thank you.

Would give it five stars if it still had the zoo! Great park, lots of activities, space and wildlife. Its a sanctuary of peace in the madness of the city.

Richmond dwellers perhaps do not realize what a wonderful park they have! On the many walks that my wife and I have taken through the park, weve seen wildlife like deer, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, geese and ducks. Its simply a place Richmond people should not take for granted!

The park is run down, but still a good place to visit with little kids.If the park equipment was kept in a better state of repair then it would be a great park.The splash pad for instance is often only partially functional.

Love to practice hitting golf balls into the 3 greens that the park has kept going since the course closed about 10 years ago. They arent smooth though to putt on; however, they do show the amount of backspin your ball has been hit with into the green. Please remember to fix your ball marks

Love the playground and the accessibility of it for all ages. However, it was pretty dirty.. I know people need to be held responsible for their actions, but I think the parks department could be held a little more accountable for the way it looks. We picked up some trash while we were playing just because it was on the slides, on the equipment... But the scenery otherwise is beautiful. Great place to take a picnic or just enjoy sitting watching wildlife.

Grew up visiting Glen Miller Park, and still love going back.

Beautiful park. I love the fresh spring water and take a few gallons home each visit. There is nothing I would change, but like any other place of beauty, there is human abuse. One family thought it appropriate to let their dog play on the playground equipment with their kids. I have no small children, but if I did I wouldnt let them play on same equipment as dogs. As I walked my dog, a 10 year old Bison Frise, I encountered quite a mass of dog poop along the way. Whats wrong with people that dont clean up after their pets?

Very busy place. Lots of Pokemon Go stops and gyms. Usually a good nest spot. Despite being in the middle of Richmonf; its a very nice spot. The rise garden greets you upfront and you can even rent a house or cabins for parties. They have a large playground and a splash bad. Several picnic shelters are on the back side of the park. There is an amphitheater for shows and 2 public restrooms.

Walk here every day. Beautiful.

I miss the animals. But you can always find raccoons at the shelters! They just looking for food!

I love the park in Richmond Indiana, its got a water park and play ground for kids and a pond to just stop an watch the ducks an fish or relax an eat lunch.. its also got a place to get free ice cold drinking water...

This is a beautiful old park with towering trees and a fountain in the lake. The playground has both an area for younger kids and another for older ones. The natural springs can be accessed by crossing a lovely stone bridge. Numerous picnic shelters can be rented for parties and such.

I think this is a great park with nice facilities for kids!

Richmond Parks and Recreation is the best its ever been. They are doing wonderful things for our communtiy.

The playground is awesome and the water springs cold and refreshing.

They had several toys to play onReally neat.

I love the park but they need to mow the grass & fix the craters in the road. I wouldnt mind paying a little more in taxes if we can take better care of things.

This is the place where my family loves to come together for outtings or just a day out with my grandbabies, i feel safe, its clean and if your hungry and its the right time of year they have a snack shack or you could always run somewhere and bring it back and not have to worry just enjoy yourself.

Nice park. Kid playground is pretty big. Has a restroom and water fountains. Picnic areas all over the park. Theres a big pond with a fountain. People can fish and take their remote controlled boats on. Natural spring you can fill up a bottle and drink from.

I grew up playing at this park, was even in the local newspaper... The saying is If you drink the water you will live in Richmond forever.

Over all the park is very nice. We were at Glen Miller and in some areas there are a lot of debris, concreate and down trees.

Every bench was broken making it impossible to enjoy yourself while your child played. Equipment was poorly maintained. A disappointment for sure

I went there after hours. Not recommended cuz the park is closed!!!
