Really beautiful shoreline excellent for views of the sunset. My favorite activity is to listen to music walk laps around the pond and just get lost. The pond walk is about 1 mile all the way around. There are separate trails that take you to a pier where people can fish. The shoreline has a beach at the end of it. Its small but still has a sand shore straight into the bay.Make sure to bring a mask or face covering as times require us to do so to keep everyone safe. We know the rules. Very nice great for along walk. Beautiful birds, ducks, geese and heron everywhere and right on the bay! Easy parking and plenty of public restrooms.
Excellent spot for family and solo adventures. ADA friendly, and easy parking access. Lovely well kept grounds for walking and picnicking. Very scenic. Do exercise situational awareness as the park and trails are multi-use. On our walk, we encountered bikes, family/strollers, and pets. Do bring a hat and water. Trash and recycle cans well spaced through out park. The trails allow for fantastic bay views.
Very cool area... beautiful surroundings, lots of historical sites... hiking & biking trails. The Marina. Shopping. Dining. Good stuff.
Close to road, not a long walk for someone with breathing problems, easy access to the water so you can fish, And; you actually catch good fish. Example, Jack smelt and stripped bass. Im now looking forward to going back. My son turned me on to the spot. Im now hoping to catch some sturgeon, striped bass, halibut and maybe some sea perch.
I love this place. Its so fun to walk around and be by the Bay. Nice grassy park, excellent views and a little beach.
Great and tranquil cutty spot! Love walking my dogs hear on a leash!
A beautiful park beside the water. We love coming here to walk with the dogs.
Keller beach is a small beach. No dogs. No Bonfires. Can get crowded quickly.Parking can be a pain when its busy. There is a small bathroom for men and women but is usually kinda dirty. There is also a shower to rinse off but it sometimes doesnt work. There are bbq areas but none on the beach. My kids love going to this beach as it is pretty shallow but does have a lot of seaweed.Bring some chairs and something for shade unless you go in the evening.
Hidden little spot. Cute beach, one of the few worth going to in the east bay. Great trails for a quick hike. And plenty of space to bbq or picnic, once that is allowed again.
Some public restrooms open during Covid restrictions. Good trails for social distancing. You can fish off the pier. And there are some good nooks for socially distant small picnics. You can NOT use the picnic tables, though.
Small beach. Enjoyed the view. Theres a BBQ pit, bathrooms and a place to rinse off after swimming. Pretty cool features in close proximity. Downside - A lot of seaweed, didnt enjoy that, though. Ill be back, though its worth checking out if youre in the area.
It’s a nice park to walk around and play or just chill.
Clean, great view of the bay, clean restroom, great for pinics etc.( when open)
Huge park. I have visited 4 times in the last year and every time I am in a completely different part of the park. Get for walking and biking during these difficult times. Dogs allowed!
Relaxing, open field close to shoreline. Good place to walk
Even though it has a number of people that visit, it still feels intimate. Beautiful Bay views? Beach, picnic areas.
This my home town love visiting this place.
I could see decades of history and reading the details on the park placards filled in the details. Lots of do here with a relatively new pier for fishing (and viewing SF bay area), working bathrooms, and even a shore launch for kayaks. Great dog friendly place to hang out. And theres even grills, picnic tables and A PLACE TO WASH YOUR DISHES just outside bathrooms. Highly recommended.
Great place to hike, go for a jog, or a nice brisk walk.
Beautiful park that is well maintained. The bathrooms are very nice and look pretty new. There are fun playgrounds. Many BBQ stands. You can walk around the lagoon or hike near by. If a person prefers flat walking, they can follow the side walk(or abandoned train tracks) along the side of the bay. This brings you to an old pier. Looks like trains delivered to ships there. That pier had a fire at some point. Now there is a small pier adjacent to it, safe to walk on. Also, there is no fishing license required on that pier.
It has a great view but there is now restroom open that i know of.
Its nice graet to walk perfect clima driet same places but the recreatin park its working to fixe came and enjoy on any time of day its nice
Beautiful view. Very steep dirt paths that have corroded and are slippery, so not all trails are widely accessible.
The chill of the water and cool breeze was a relief to help escape a scorcher of a day
Great place to hike and enjoy San Francisco Bay
Stunning
One of the great park in richmond area. Loved the atmosphere here.
Biked here and was nice. Nothing special.
Great for walking dogs or for a leisurely stroll. There is usually a nice breeze and this part of the park does not have as much foot traffic as picnicking area. There is a kayak launching area and a few picnic tables. Access to an old pier that used to be part of the Richmond-Sf ferry. Overall, a great place to see the bay area sunset. Rest room area next to fish cleaning station os pretty clean. Only thing it needs is more trash/recycling bins.
It is a large area to walk around. It isnt very well kept up, and the squirrels will come after your food, but as long as you sit at a table your fine!
Was very peaceful today...nice weather.. beautiful scenery..
Lots of people walking, still not allowed to BBQ or Picnic but everyone is happy
Great hike with views of the city and pretty shoreline park.Historic Richmond Point is just on the other side of the tunnel from the park and is worth visiting.
Im homesick for the place. The shoreline park has live plants growing everywhere. Its very good for bicycling
The city needs to put out some new sand its disgusting! But overall it has potential to be what it once was an its nice, good place to bring the family an have get togethers or outings
Love this place, it is quiet, clean, and calm. Nice picnic areas, great playgrounds, and an ice cream truck is always here.
A nice place to hangout.
Ice cream truck makes continuous rounds on Friday n Saturday.
Nice to be able to have a walk in the park with few worries. The maintenance staff does a fantastic job with the facilities in keeping them clean, stocked & serviceable considering how many people visit & use these daily throughout. People visiting need to pick up after their pets more often though. It is important to make sure that your vehicle is locked & valuables secured. There is always some element watching & looking for an opportunity, especially late in the evening. Otherwise, its a nice place to go with family, friends & pets.
Historic and good new trails along the beach shoreline ...
Good place to look for sea glass and views are pretty. -1 star for shotgun shells, cigarette butts and regular old sharp broken glass.
Cool place to explore with old train tracks and abandoned concrete buildings
First time here.. Loved it!!
You have to get out of the car to get a view. Very peaceful great place
Great BBQ spots around.
My grandkids and I love this beach.
Great place, walking, family picnic or just relax watching the bay area and surroundings..
Close by me with a great mix of trails from flat along the shore to challening uphill treks. There is a beach area, playgrounds and picnic tables.
Too dirty because of disgusting humans but the beach is cute and the trail is really enjoyable.
Good place to visit.
Great hike and stroll but my cars passenger windows were smashed into and stole property. Be vigilant and dont leave anything inside vehicles.
Nice open park. Well kept picnic area. Clean grass areas and restrooms. Absolutely love it here.
Park is nice, lots of picnic tables and fire pits. Small lagoon in the center.BEWARE CAR THIEVES, THOUGH!! My car was broken into and my bag was stolen from the front seat in the space of about 10 minutes when I was taking these photos. The parking lots were all chained off for some reason so you have to park along the street, and walking along the street from one end of the park to the other revealed MANY small piles of shattered window glass where car windows had been smashed. This seems to be a popular place for thieves due to the relative isolation. Really too bad, because the park itself is beautiful.
Lovely place to visit. Lots if history there
Dont come on a hot day. Too packed.
Grew up here so I love it.... Feels like home. It can be a little rough around the edges and if you dont understand what I mean then you probably shouldnt plan a day trip for Kellers Beach.
This place was really cool!
Great view of the bay.
Beatitudes views. nice small beach
Lovely park with picnic tables, a lake full of ducks, and a flat paved walking trail. If you venture across the street, the trail up the hill will give incredible views of the bay, from Mt. Tam, to the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Alcatraz, and downtown San Francisco skyline.
Is a beutiful park
My peace and serenity walking spot.
Great hiking. Multiple routes and levels. Z
Love love it great parking, nice seating clean
Miller Knox Regional Shoreline in Point Richmond is Beautiful, and I loved the view and whole town!
A very interesting historical site, great trails for walks and a nice small pier for fishing. Benches for views of the bay, which I might add are incredible during a beautiful clear and sunny day.
Nice breeze, ... authentic without too much man made intervention, ...
This park is underrated but don’t bring too many friends at once to check it out. It’s really best left quiet.
Very nice place to go for a scenic walk, awesome views of the bay. The bathrooms are really nice, they flush, no honey buckets here. Great place to barbecue or just chill with the family. Definitely recommend it.
I make my own work schedule and I come here during the week..I dont go here on the weekend it can be a bit crowded for parking..There are asphalt walking areas making it ideal for the disabled to get around. Stay off the rocks around the shoreline...when there are a lot of people at the park climbing on the shoreline a helicopter flies by if someone is on the rocks telling them to ..Get Off..Not sure what would happen if you didnt get off ..no one hasnt that Ive seen..There are hiking and walking trails that lead away from the shoreline..these trails dont seem to be too difficult to navigate..Your dog is welcome if they are on a leash..there are signs everywhere to keep your dog leashed...Even if your dogs friendly another dog might not like them..The park section just after the tunnel does not allow dogs at any time...Bathrooms are clean and plentiful BUTT (sic) take your own paper with you.. they often run out of paper Bring food and water if youll be there for awhile Point Richmond has NO FAST FOOD ..AND ONLY ONE REASONABLY PRICED EXCELLENT HAMBURGER RESTAURANT JUST BEFORE THE TUNNEL ENTRANCE...AND THEY ARE FRESH MADE TO ORDER AND ONLY 6 OR SO DOLLARS for a 1/4lbBasic hamburger..Im not a hamburger lover even so I usually stop there..the rest of town offering tend to be pricey ..example $9 for a fish taco..20$ hamburger and fries. There are two small markets one has a selection of hot dogs ...I prefer this park to any other in Richmond
Beautiful views & nice walking & picnic spots. Hiking in hills across the road & fabulous group of ground squirrels all over. They are adorable! Keep your dogs on a tight leash, they will want to meet them up close. Its a gorgeous spot. Enjoy it!
Absolutely gorgeous place
Stunning spot on a sunny day for a walk with the pup.
Very nice but there was alot of dog poop in grass.
Love it here, I use to take my boys now I take my grandsons, we always have a ball, and great conversations and teaching moments. Perfect place for parties for the kiddos too.
Has everything your. Very good prices. Good people work there.
Awesome quiet place
Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline has plenty of green grass space, populated with trees. Its backdrop being a beautiful east bay view with a cliff, and cliff lining of trees at your senses. Park trails lead you to shoreline trails and even more stunning views of both the bay and golden gate bridge. Theres quite a bit to take in from this locations vantage point. The draw back is it very crowded throughout the summer, holiday especially. Its worth a drive out during on an off peak day.
Nice little getaway in point richmond. Nice place to go for walks or even to throw a party at the park.
Always nice to put your toes in the sand
A jewel of a park. Picnic areas, playground, lots of lawn areas, shade trees, and a pond. There are bathrooms, BBQs, and walking paths. Great views of the bay, the Richmond bridge, and Mt. Tam. Summer weekends its packed with picnickers, birthday parties and the like, but the park is so large it just feels festive, not crowded. East Bay Regional Parks are the best!
Fun day and good to go fishing.
Good place to visit for relaxation or excercise. It has a great view. There are numerous parking spots. One of the negative aspects is that many people do not clean after themselves. Broken bottles, trash, and even dirty clothes are often found throughout the location. Overall, its good place to visit once in a while.
Great big open space park with ample walking trails and wide spaces with a small lake in the middle. Great for parties and picnics. Long Beach trail for walks along the shore. Multiple restrooms and a playground area.
Great place to workout and enjoy the Bay
