So grateful for this Bridge. I use it all the time. So convenient to get to the island.

I really enjoy the signs posted telling the history of each location along the trails. The suspension bridge is really cool and with a lot of people on it youll feel some movement to it. Bicyclists, skateboards, etc are very friendly and let you know theyre coming up behind you and passing you on whichever side. The pedestrian flow on the bridge is stay to the right whether coming or going.

What an awesome experience....this place is full of beautiful sights and history. I throughly enjoyed walking the trails and seeing the rock beaches! I am looking forward to my next trip to see Belle Isle ruins!!

Beautiful views of Richmond city, a nice place to photograph the city or the river, went there with my cousin, enjoyed the lovely views and did photography from the bridge and banks of the river.

Beautiful place for a walk and swim! Easily accessible for all! There are port-a-potties and trash cans along the trail. Nice mixture of sun and shade.

Beautiful paved walk around the island which is rich in history. Suspended bridge over is a beautiful bridge with a great view of the water. A train is frequently going by to add to the experience.

Great walk with beautiful views. Make sure that you park in the actual Belle Isle parking lot and not the Civil War Museum lot, youll end up paying when you dont need to.

Cycling or hotfooting across this bridge is a great way to get interval cardio, and the view aint bad.

Very cool pedestrian bridge that you can walk or bike ride over to Belle Isle. Great for photo opportunities! Once - they had a manatee that traveled up the James somehow and was found (alive) under this bridge!!! :)

Seems like a weird thing to review, but here goes. Always a fun way to see the river. I route my runs across Belle Isle a few times a year just for the experience. I wish they would do whatever needs doing so they can take down the scaffolding on the last third of the bridge. Folks I’ve encountered are usually friendly and accommodating. B+ would cross again.

Great place to go for a run or walk. Traversing the bridge will provide great views of Richmond and the James River, as well as access to the hiking trails on Belle Isle. Id recommend coming during the early evening to catch a sunset.

Its my favorite place to be in the summer. I nice stroll across this bride everyday its what you need.

Interesting place to see, also there is one spot where you can jump from and not die. I dont recommend trying to find it though.

The best river view of the city. The walk is about 2 miles from parking lot, across bridge, around the island (great history, lots of extreme sports) and some of Richmonds strongest rapids.

Beautiful scenery as you cross the bridge, a very unique structure.

Beautiful views of the James both upstream and down - the ruins of historical bridges and dams, the Tyler Potterfield Memorial pedestrian bridge, Belle Isle, Browns Island and the Richmond Rapids. The only downsides are occasional dog poop and inadequate parking at the Tredegar lot.
