Extremely easy to get to while still feeling surrounded by nature. There are three trails from the parking area and two-ish trails that loop back by the river connecting the three other trails. The shore is a mixture of sandy, pebble, rocky, and large stones depending on whoch section you stop at. It is bracketed on either side by private property, so be careful to keep aware of signs and property edge markers to avoid tresspassing.
Easy sandy beach access. Great for kids. But the parking lot can be a bit sketchy
Love this water great for inter tubing down the river
Secluded but not far from the city.
Nice part of the river, with some trails. We visited in March and there were only a few people there. We want to go back during the Summer.
Beautiful. Good song hole.
#420blzeitphags oh and a gr8 place for R∆Ck$
Clean, quiet (in spite of its proximity to the road) with simple, easy trails for someone looking for a pleasant walk that isnt challenging.
Clean, pretty spacious river access for a small site.
Great place to get away
My favorite place to get away from people and be one with nature without having to go up in the mountains.
The beach is clean and not littered with broken glass and trash. Its also secluded from the street so there is no traffic noise.
Jus a relaxing place and very quiet with chill water
Popular riverspot for teenagers if you bring your family with young children there will likely be loud music with profanity, smoking, drinking ocasinal camp fires and typical teenage shenanigans. If you bring a family with small children dont expect anyone to cater to you IE: no one is going to turn down their music or change the genre for you or your childrens benefit so dont expect them to same goes for the recreational activities as long as no one is hurting each other, respectful of each others spaces and everyone picks up their litter its all good. Really if you dont want that around your kids just go somewhere else. Other than that good spot no theres porta potty, and trash bin where you park spots have different amounts of sunlight vs shade so you can take your pick there are log jams that havent moved in years and plenty of plants and wildlife
Lovely!
I love this area.
Great place
Nice place
I love this spot. Its secluded enough that not a lot of people know about it. My kids love it too.
Cedar river is one of the last sanctuaries for the wild life and its very important to keep it that way
Not the biggest park, but very secluded and private. Nice place to meditate by the river.
Beautiful and quiet.
Lots of fun nice and cool under the trees
Love this beach... has a big sand bar...
Nice walk and beautiful scenery
