It is a well-maintained neighborhood park. It is square-ish in shape and has a walk way around the edges. It also has a basketball hoop and a little, brightly-painted play area for kids between 2-5 years of age. This is a great park for local residents to go to for a morning jog or an evening walk. They also have a few picnic tables which are currently closed due to Covid-19.

He also enjoys the climbing rocks near the basketball court. Nice trail around the park and great blackberry picking spots in August! Ice cream truck comes in the summer

I wish the city would enforce the fact that this is a park for the neighborhood. Not one to drive to. The pokemon go gym encourages a lot of loitering. Be leery of the homeless camping in the wooded area. They dont even go out of their way to hide them selves any more. They just sleep in the trail.

This park is property previously owned by my parents; Clyde & Bernice Barfield, where I grew up. This land was always a great place for families, kids especially. There was so much to do. Climb trees & eat the fruits (various apples & plum trees). Too bad the city did not save one apple tree or plum tree. I caught tadpoles, frogs & snakes from a pond in back yard. My dad had a garden of veggies & grape vines we ate from yearly. We had various farm animals also; chickens, ducks, geese, cows & pigs. Our cows & pigs were our pets which had names. Those sure were Good Old Days!!Im glad city made this piece of property a park, where families can still gather for good times.

Ive lived in the Renton Highlands for over 10 years and this park always has families and young adults playing, running, having a good time and enjoying themselves. Its located in a nice neighborhood with families all around and stores nearby. Only downside on my behalf would be to get the water fountains fixed.

Park goers do not respect that people actually live around the park. Music as loud as they want until whenever they want. The police are there often because no one honors that it closes at dusk, but thats the only time theyre there. People arrive at 7am and so do their PA systems. We thought itd be nice to have a park in the neighborhood, I now know I wont ever buy or live close to a park. Its nice to have for the kids however that doesnt come close to outweighing the downfalls of having a public space where people who dont think about the surrounding neighborhood congregate.
