Ocean trails is very nice.Fresh air. Friendly people on the trails. Some picnic tables here and there. And of course the brush and bushes close to the trail where little lizards and birds pop out of. The best aspect of this place is how very close the ocean is and the fresh air to breathe in.Go see !

A tranquil seaside retreat with a multitude of trails and mesmerizing views of the Pacific ocean. Parking is free and easy: You can park at the Trump National Golf Club parking -- however, I parked at the separate trail parking to the east (see Maps) without any issues. It wasnt crowded at all, so definitely give this place a visit when you come to Palos Verdes.

OMG! I live in Long Beach and I wanted to go on one day hike and this place just 19 miles from my place... I really love my experiences along with my kids and friends... We got there around 12nn and it was overcast... we hike for 3-4hrs (bluff & down to seaside)... It so relaxing and definitely coming back on the other side of trails... highly recommend!!!

Beautiful hike that starts through the golf course and winds down onto the shore. On the advice of a previous Google review, we walked past the bathrooms, approximately 5 minutes through the golf course, then turned left onto the first dirt path we saw. The path starts winding down and you can opt to walk south east or westward and down to the shore. We opted for the latter and spent time walking on the rocky shore. We looked for the stairs someone mentioned but ended up taking a steep dirt path back up to the paved golf course path. My husband had our 1 year old strapped to his back and found the hike manageable. The route we took was a little tough at times, but not impossible. If you have a stroller, dont even try to get down to the shore. Too slippery and the shore is too rocky. Hiking shoes help but not a must. Great course as you can choose to stay on the paved path or trek your way through the bluff.

Cool trail! Easy to get to and plenty of parking. There is a restroom and drinking fountain at the top before you head down and plenty of wide trails to safely walk as you make you way from the bluffs down to the beach from any of the many beach access routes.

It is a a wonderful trail to explore and to enjoy the beauty of sea nature. 4 hours hiking were not enough, we are going to go back. Enjoy Your Life!

Incredible ! You are so close to the ocean and theres the beautiful golf course and trails you can walk through.Its fun and a very nice sight to see. You become one with nature.

Love the views. The beach is very rocky so I suggest wearing closed sandals. I also recommend taking any trash you have with you, but I did see one trash can.

I searched for trails by the beach and this place came up. Its definitely a nice looking place with nice trails. The trails are paved, but if you want to get down to the beach, there are a number of unpaved dirt trails that lead down. While its close by Long Beach, you can hardly tell as it doesnt look like a sea port on this side.

Though the trail for me is quiet rough, was able to make it for 2 1/2 hours w/ my daughter

Relatively flat walking path alongside the Trump National Golf Course. Go past the main entrance to the golf course and turn right onto La Rotunda Drive and go all the way down to hit the parking lot at the right.There are two dirt paths that go down to the water, or you can stay on top and walk to the golf club building.Nice views of the ocean, a private parking lot, and public restrooms at the start of the path make this a nice place to visit.

This its great place to go for a walk and take pictures.... One thing the youll should be aware of, if you have brawn skin and get close trumps golf course, people there will make you feel Not welcome.. It happened to me while visiting from Houston just ignore them....

Ive been coming to this spot for years now. Been bringing my family for these hikes and awesome trails. Its perfect with endless ocean views and the rocky beaches of RPV. Some of the trails are challenging especially for me having to carry a 3 year old and a 20lb backpack. Its a good reason to skip leg day!

Great views on a very easy to navigate trail! Signs say no dogs on beach or in water but we saw other dogs on the beach... so... well we did too coast line here is parallel to trips national golf club so the surrounding area is very clean and upscale. Very fun hike for sure! Id return 100%

Beautiful and scenic dog friendly walk/hike. Upper trails are super easy for all, but the trails leading down to the beaches can be a challenge for some.The beaches are mainly rocky and smooth stoned with some sand patches.The trails are dog friendly but dogs must be on a leash and are not allowed on the beach. Lots of trash cans along the trail so put that boom boom in a bag :). Enjoy !

Beautiful, peaceful trail! Please note it does require masks right now which I came from out of town and didn’t realize. Luckily I keep mine in the car. This trail is pretty easy going down but coming back to is all uphill so it’s a bit of a battle but not hard at all. I will definitely be returning!

I love to come hiking to this Amazing place but with this awful time of pandemic its better to come at 5am if you want to have a great hiking. if you come around 7am or 8am is soooooo crowded and some people doesnt wear

This was one of the coolest trails Ive ever been to. Definitely not your traditional trails in the woods. These are trails right on the damn coastline. Id say it is a moderate run/jog if running both ways, and veering off the path towards the ocean. Very decent elevation if you plan your run properly.I 100% recommend taking one of the beach routes where youll be able to get super close to the water. The views are simply breathtaking. I cant believe people live right there with that insane view.It is on a golf course, see make sure you dont start walking/jogging/running onto one of the course paths. Things are clearly marked, so you should be fine.Make sure you bring your phone or a nice camera because the views are amazing.

Love this beautiful stretch of California coast! So blessed to live near this place! This trail offers beautiful cliffside views of the ocean and tidepools, its a groomed trail and mostly flat so its a non-strenuous walk. If you live near here or are just visiting its a must-see!

Great local hiking, a pretty short trail along the cliffs but some good hills and you can continue it past the Trump golf course or walk along the beach.

A series of trails - blufftop, waters edge, and more - in a preserve directly east of the Trump property. Plenty of good hiking here, some trails wide enough for bikes. Spectacular views from the blufftop trails, and a palette of colors during the Spring flower bloom in March and April.Come during the week of you can, far fewer people.

Absolutely GORGEOUS scenery on this trail.

The trails here are absolutely stunning at day break. The trails range in difficulty but nothing too crazy. I come here at least 3 times a week to hike up some crazy steps and grab some much needed views. The only down side is that you have to walk through the trump golf course to get to them. Free parking and pleasant enough people around. If youre looking for a place to hike solo this is it. No weirdos or sketchy people around and everyone that you pass are friendly enough. Still... that being said always stay alert of your surroundings just in case.

The views are amazing. Best time to go is the beginning of the spring to see all the green vegetation. All the flowers make the trails the best place to be!!

Great place to walk and get some good exercise! I would say its an easy trail but when you head down the beach it becomes moderate! Just be careful though theres nothing to hold on to cause there are no railings. Personally, it adds character and some much needed thrill. Lol

Great place to walk. There are paved areas and dirt trails that go down to the beach. If you walk the paved area you will reach an area with private picnic tables. Perfect for picnics overlooking the ocean. We saw so many bunnies flopped out lounging in the evening sun!

My husband and I hiked with our toddler and 4-month old babe. We carried them on our backs for the entirety of our hike. We started from the Trump course and made our way down to the water. We spent about 30 minutes hiking down and then coming back up, with both kiddos sleeping. The trail offers shade here and there and is leveled enough to make it an easy trail to hike.The way down to the water has steps and contains rocks, so just be careful, especially when carrying the little ones.

Too many loud people with loud music. It use to be beautiful, now its becoming ugly.

Love this hike along the water at sea level and high on the cliffs! Park in the parking lot directly left of the trump national golf course building. There are bathrooms there too.

This has now become my favorite trail! The sunset is a MUST see the breeze and the view are stunning. Come alone or bring a friend! Youll absolutely love it!!

Beautiful walk and view, the entrance is a little hide but if you put it on google maps is gonna take you to a residential area and at the end of the street is the entrance to the hike!!! Will do it again so worth it!!!
