Very nice and fun trail! Lots of shades! Steep in some parts so wouldnt recommend it to toddlers. My 7 and 9 years old were able to finish the whole loop (from Lower Willow Spring trial, Purple Canyon Trail, then Upper Willow Spring trial) of 2.97 miles in 2 hours. Saw a few rabbits and 1 cyote, and saw sign stating rattlesnakes and also lots (let me say it again! LOTS!) of poison oaks so keep your little one or pets close. There is a big stretch at the end of the loop, coming up to the Martingale Trailhead, so be prepared! Great work out for sure and will definitely go back again!!!
Nice trail loop about 2.8 miles with a lot of shade.
Used to be a nice way to access the canyon and other trails. They fenced it off after 500ft so nothing to see here now.
Fun little hike
Great trail to get away from the city!
Very steep at the entrance. Husband decided he didnt want to go because of how steep it was. Maybe find another entrance.
Because they have a nice Beau
Small trailhead with a water fountain. No designated parking spots but plenty of space to park on side of quite street. Steep trails, let me say again, steep trails. Watch out for poison oak and occasional king and rattle snakes. Nice and quite, not used often but where I prefer to do my trail runs as the trails are mostly kept all to myself.
Trail ends after 500 yards, leads to private property.
One amazing trail so close by the city
Its beautiful up here the Vista of the whole valley in the ocean that you could see from up here in PV its just fantastic
BeautifulBeautiful location, but not very well maintained nor cared for. Also, the Trails End was not very eventful.
Place is closed to the public. Otherwise looks like a beautiful spot.
No parking. But decent, easy, trail selection.
Very nice view of downtown LA
A secret spot
