Stunning view beautiful cliffs just awesome weather, great if you enjoy romantic walks or a walk with your best friend
This is by far my second rated hiking spot in California and the first place Calabasas. This place has the relaxing view of the tones of the ocean and on top of that the place is very well kept up by means of trash and parking lot access. If you want a beautiful photo of the view on the top portion I would suggest a 360 photo. The nature walk the way down the hill toward the biloing trees at the end is calming and breath taking experience for me and probably you as well. Now there is one lil scene I thought was lovely was the bird house in the trees at the final destination took a photo of it and it came out perfect.
Picked a day, when the humidity level was killer!!! Tides werent low enough to see any sea anenomies!!!️
As Im traveling along PV Drive I can see trails above in this area, on the inland side, but never knew how to get to them.....until I looked at Yelp. duhI knew there was a small dog park on the RPV Civic Center grounds, as well as a tennis court, but didnt know the trail heads could be accessed from there.Despite Jasmine E.s detailed, very helpful review, I didnt find the trail head hidden in the bush.I did find a different one but my bum knee couldnt take me too far down the initial, somewhat steep descent.I must also give a shout-out to Keo N. for his spectacular photos of the plants. And he knows their names! Very impressive. All that being said, I enjoyed wandering around. This place is wildflower central, my cup of tea. And the Point Vicente Lighthouse is visible down below. The entire space is 55 acres, including a habitat restoration area. The trails here are limited & unspectacular, but the views of course are great once you get past the thick brush down into the open area.So yeah, I discovered two things: Alta Vicente Reserve & a snail shell.Im happy.
Beautiful place!
Easy to find. Well marked.
