Love this trail, very little shade, but awesome views and interesting terrain.

This place is so much fun to hike and the views are incredible once you reach the top.Take water, there isnt much shade.Tread lightly and enjoy your day!!!

The main granite mountain trail is an appropriate 8 mile out and back, mile three featured a lot of elevation gain. Bring water, your camera, and friends. This is an amazing trail, with some even better views.

Awesome, beautiful hike & scenery! Be sure to go on a day that weather is good. Lots of signs here to guide you along the way as well! Find your way to the 1000 year old Juniper tree & enjoy! Be sure to be aware of your surrounding as well as there are some who ride their horses here & drive along some of the trail.

Did trail #261 today, great hike. I just want to know how to get to the highest point?

Well I have only hiked to the top once, but I have hiked to Blair Pass numerous times. I like to hang out there and listen to the climbers make safety calls. Sound seems to travel well out there. I have also been there doing the Little Granite Loop which I would highly recommend. It is a Wilderness Area so no bikes.
