Nice trail and you can hike it to the lake and do the loop there which is really nice.

Easy hike, not crowded even on a free day. No bikes, great for dogs.

Excellent place for walking around the lake

Nice trail around the lake. It did take longer than we thought it would but overall we enjoyed the scenery. Bring binoculars and you can do some bird watching.

Very beautiful place but easy to get turned around in the campground.they have restrooms for campers but no showers.They do have awesome hiking trails with very beautiful scenery.Park rangers are not so friendly though,we probably wont go back.

Easy half mile hike to the RuinsIt is mostly a pile of rocks with some walls. The Forest Service has built a nice viewing platformAs you look around it stimulates your mind how it must have been to live on this hilltop 700 years ago.

Great hiking around the lake and many other beautiful trails in the area. The lake is too high to go all the way around right now because of recent rains.

Worst marked trails Ive been on in the Prescott area. Met 2 other couples on the trail that agreed. Spent too much money on benches and not on trail directions. The ruins were a big disappointment. The scenery was nice but not worth the agravation. Pass this one up and just go to the lake and hike there trails.
