I had a great time on the new pump track. It works great with a skateboard even though it was designed for bikes. The tennis and pickle ball courts also looked great and were getting lots of use.

Perfect for keeping a 4 year old with a short attention span busy!

Nice park for neighborhood basketball, small kids or dogs ... Nice for residents at Golden tree apartments.

It is a nice spacious park, acres and acres upon acres of empty beautiful grassy land. There is a double sided basketball court, but the surface needs touching up bc of cracks in the asphalt courtyard. & There are beautiful trees doting the asphalt walkway. The trees are varied in kind but they are mostly maple and flowering trees, perhaps crabapple (its hard to tell right now bc its still winter time), but there are some nice River Birch and Sycamore trees.I would say that its a great place to have your Memorial Day BBQ, but youll have to bring your own grill and have a tailgate party.You may walk dogs here, but youll have to pick-up after them if and when they do a number two (that SHOULD not need to be stated, but nowadays it is bc some people dont give a flip about others - ugh!). There is a place right at the entrance of the park (where the sign its stating th rule on walking dogs) that one may obtain a plastic bag to use for that purpose. Please do use them as it will keep the park safe and clean for little kids to run barefoot. Theres not much that is worse than stepping into doo with your bare feet. Yeah, BTDT and its THE WORST. Yuck! Well, with all of that being said: this park is pretty nice but the park could use some help in upgrading it to bring it up to par. But its still worth four stars in my opinion. Come and see what you think of it if the photos and reviews warrant your curiosity & attention.

Its a nice little park with a small nature path, tennis and pickle ball court, basketball court, and a bmx course.

Tennis court is great, with a decent walk path. Good place to enjoy the sun.

Pros:Lots of parking, rentable shelters, neat playground and tennis grounds.Cons?Came here for my friends bridal shower an hour or so before start with some others to help set up. Shelter was rented, sign was posted that it was rented, management assured us they would be available if there was an issue. As it were, several dozen moms and several dozen children had decided to throw their birthday party there.Read: chalk everywhere, decorations everywhere, trash full, tables covered in spilled cake, soda, and food. Asked them to leave, so they moved directly outside the shelter and continued party their. Called management for trash and now filthy tables and shelter. Management did not pick up. Called again. No response. Which meant, now, that we had to clean the whole thing and there was nothing to be done about the overflowing trash cans.Fast forward. Shelter cleaned, finally. Birthday boy has opened his presents, and the moms sit on the yard and watch as their kids run immediately outside the shelter with bubble guns and water guns. None of us escape being hit. Management is called, again, and, again, they do not pick up.Decorations are set up. Birthday party is gone. Guests and food are arriving. Children from the park come over to start asking for food while their parents watch and do nothing. For the rest of the shower.The park is nice. But I would not go again, because the guests make my opinion of the park slummy, and I have no desire to deal with half of that again regardless of whether an event is being held or not.

Good for walking / jogging / dog walking. The park has a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis court, inline skating hockey, lots of green space and some pick-nick areas.The green space is soggy due to poor drainage of the Davis Creek that hopefully will be corrected by City of Portage. The woods / marsh nature trail is nice if you go on a dry day and wear boots.

They took one playground set, but the other is still there and nice. It is well kept and beautiful.

Nice open park with 4 basketball courts, a tennis court, a baseball field, and a hockey court. There is also a couple pavilions for picnics or different events and a playground for kids. There are a few hiking trails that go into the woods in the back of the park as well.

Grew up quarter mile from here, spent 1000s of hours here during childhood and adolescent years.

Good for walking/jogging plus it has a nice playground for kids with two new swings. There is also two pavilions with picnic tables and one grill.
