My wife and I walked the trail from Osterhout Ave up to Portage Industrial Dr and then back to our car. The paved trail is perfect for walking, jogging, or riding a bike. The public restrooms at the parking lot off of Osterhout Rd appeared to be fairly new and were very clean. The trail meandered through the woods where there were occasional benches for taking a rest. The trees provided a good mix of sunny and shaded areas. We saw squirrels and a couple different types of butterflies. We really enjoyed the trail and wish we had time to see more of it. I would reccomend visiting this trail.

This is my new favorite trail! It is fully paved so its great for anything with wheels.

The pathes were nice no cracks in the assault very peacefull. The restrooms were also very nice and clean! Loved it verrrry recommended!!!!

LOVE! This place is awesome! It just about connects a few of the different portage parks together. Like Schrier park, The South Westnedge park. Its also close to Bishops bog. Great for trail running. The paved part is great for skateboarding, strollers and dog walkers. Im grateful for Portage investing into their parks and communities! #runnerapproved

Never disappointed. Was wondering why the land was cleared in the area quarter into the trail. Seems it is not your property possibly. Wondering what is going it there. Heard a subdivision.

Beautiful peaceful day on a nice paved trail. Walk or bike and enjoy a trip through the woods but watch out for the deer. Restrooms are now finished and open on the south parking area.

Its a great trail. Not a lot of people usually, which makes it easy to bike, walk and run.

Very nice and peaceful trail. It is paved, and a pavilion is currently (March 2018) being built. It has a lot of small hills and a swamp. My wife and I will definitely be returning for more walks.

Very hilly in spots, so makes for a more challenging hike. Nice clean trail and gorgeous views. Bathrooms and drinking fountains are a bonus.

Ended up walking through this nature reserve after having crossed Bishops Bog. My pant legs were pretty wet so I went down this path to dry off and get back to Osterhout. It was really pleasant and there were deer everywhere. Some of them were pretty bold.

The Eliason Nature Reserve has a winding paved pathway thats great for bike riders, rollerbladers, or pedestrians. Dogs are allowed, which is a nice feature, but bring your own doggy bags. There arent any amenities such as water fountains or benches, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, the pathway goes through a nicely wooded area and at certain times of day, the sunlight through the trees is simply majestic.

Nice walk. Love the open woods and variety of terrain. Glad there is a porta potty. Perhaps have a poop bag dispensing station to encourage folks to pick up dog waste that happens right off the trail.

Quiet trail. Interesting to walk with its many twists and turns. Not to mention the little hills help it interesting.

This is a great place to go exploring. My only complaint is that portage city employees use this trail as a cut thru, with their vehicles. Keep your eyes peeled.
