A secluded area for exploring, lots of feeder streams. I dont believe I found my way to the lake, but I did end up in a swamp. Some parts are very muddy, bring boots. Small parking lot with enough space for 2 vehicles. There are a few different trails to take. The one I took didnt appear to be maintained after a certain point and became extremely hard to follow( guessing roughly half mile-3/4 of a mile away from the entrance)

Didnt get down the trail very far, to be fair. Area was muddy but thats understandable for the time of year. Driveway is very steep gravel and parking allows for 2 vehicles side by side.I will update when I visit again on a less moist day.

Hills, feeder streams and woods around the lake were fun to explore and photograph. The tiny pond sized lake??? is probably better off being left as lost... can be found by following the feeder streams in. Nice new parking lot and sign.

Beautiful area. Gets pretty swampy though near the little pond so wear stuff you dont mind getting soaked

Nice fall day to take a walk to Lost Lake. Wander down hill through the woods roughly south west from the parking lot

Lost lake is a pond surrounded by marsh grass and muck. Its difficult to get to the shore through the muck. I didnt think of it until we left but there is a higher ridge near the pond. I could have hiked up the hill a ways and took a picture looking down on the pond. Maybe next time. There was not a marked trail to the pond when we hiked there (Oct 2015). There is a small parking area off the road and new sign for Lost Lake so maybe the DNR is planning to improve the property and build a trail.

Could not find a good path to be honest. Never found the lake so it lives up to its name.
