Clean and well taken care of dog park. Met some great ‘people’ here too! Spacious and water for animals too!

I like this dog park a lot its got a area thats fenced in for small dogs and it has a larger area fenced in for larger dogs. They do have poo poo bags and trash cans to put the poo poo bags in. They also have places with big bucket of cold water and two watering bows for the dogs as well as picnic tables to sit at while your dog is running around playing with other dogs. There are not supposed to be any aggressive dogs or any dogs in heat if your dog does get slightly aggressive you have to leave the park immediately.I love that this park is like 6 minutes from where I live so that helps out a lot and its very clean and theres a lot of shade trees and the dogs love it.

Milo loved it! He had fun running and playing with all the other dogs.

My dog loves to park enjoys playing with the other dogs the bathrooms can I have more to say the mens room has been locked approximately 4 days I contacted the county the first day they said somebody be out there to check it out 4 days later it got open it is so nasty you cant use it the homeless are sleeping in there using it for a washroom it is just nasty

Pavilion, water pump/hose, water bowls, trees, benches, small & large dog parks are separate. Beautiful park, good for kids and they have bathrooms.

This is a great dog park. All of the people I have met there have been nice. Watch out for dog poop, a lot of people dont pick up after there dog.

I love bringing my grandchildren there

You just have to be very careful some people dont watch their dogs.

Took my dog here and he loved it. He thought he was going to run off. He played and enjoyed himself. Nice big area for him to run around.

This park is in a busy area, however parking is on the side with easier entry. There are multiple enclosures for different sized dogs and a few small picnic tables. The area for children to play is small and underwhelming. This park does not always have a desirable crowd, and it isnt uncommon to see people loitering and drinking beer. I wouldnt recommend to anyone without dogs just looking for a park for their children to play at.

Looks like the place to be if there are 4 legs in the family.

As I watched from the cancer center Edgewater Park look like a nice place can bring your big dog I did not see where it would be good for my little now Lakeshore has a path that you can go with all the animals

This is a great dog park - theres lots of space for dogs to run & its securely enclosed. The other owners were friendly and attentive to their dogs.

Its an awesome dog park but the mosquitoes are terrible! Maybe Charlotte county could treat the area...

Love letting the dogs run.

Good quality but kind of small. Also the owners seem to congregate at the pavilion causing the dogs to hang around just that area and creating a messy dirty and muddy area.

There is not a lot to do here. There are no facilities either. there is a small deck that goes out over the canal leading to Charlotte harbor. There is an small canoe / kayak launch there as well. I have never seen a crowd here in my five visits. there is a small picnic table with a canopy over the top of it. This is a decent place to have a lunch outside. Though the traffic is visible on heavily-traveled Edgewater drive there is very little traffic noise for some reason. like most parks in Charlotte county it is well maintained and there is plenty of free parking as well.

The park needs a little more maintenance the dirt thats around the benches where the people sit needs to be dealt with the dogs get into it digging in deep under neath my 3 dogs go that dirt in there eyes and ears and had to take all 3 to vet to get ears deepen cleaned and get eye drops for there eyes a lot of money was spent. i live in port Charlotte and go to hounds of Henry because the barricade the area not to play or walk in let it grow back to health and remove the tape for everyone to enjoy again

Bathrooms functional, not too dirty. Kid area, small dog area, large dog area. Plenty of seating and fresh, clean water available for the dogs. We come here often, nice park all around!

Great place to take your dog. There is an unleashed area for large dogs and one for small dogs. Have met quite a few friendly regulars there

Nice little dog park. Hubble had a great time and made a new friend. Had some people loitering around, kinda weird considering they didnt have a dog or a kid.

Great place to play with my dog. They even had a pool to help with the heat.

This park sets next door to the marathon gas station I was at. It is beautiful.

Great dog park for off-leash time with your dogs. They have both a small dog and large dog area.

The off leash dog park is always a good time. Theres plenty of shade and water for the dogs. Theres two picnic tables for the humans to gather. One table is under a pavilion, the other is under a shady tree. Theres public bathrooms and a playground for kids. Its a wonderful park.

Great off leash dog park. Water bowls always available, lots of room for,the dogs to run or chase a ball. Two areas there, one for small dogs and a larger area for the big dogs. Always good conversation with fellow dog owners.

First time to the park with my two miniture dachshunds .I was very impressed with the grounds. Very well kepted up and clean. Water out for dogs And plenty of room. Dogs loved it we will be back.

I went because of the playground and, though it is a good area for kids, most of the people go because of the dog park, not to take their kids out to play.

There are certainly better dog parks in the area. Not mowed, under a giant radio tower, and not many dogs there.
