So to be upfront with this. It is a wonderful place to spend your evening, it is a great place great fun and great activities. The reason why I am giving it a one is because the parking. It has some public parking that comes right onto the square.. My family and I came before new years eve. And there was several prices. Its 0 if you were there for less a hour. Theres another price that if its a special event or a event going on its 12. We came in and supposedly we had to validate the ticket(Not like machines couldnt do it), the time. There are no instructions on how to validate your ticket. We assume that the way you do validate are through the shops. Which we still had no way to validate it since most of the shops are closed. This entire process could easily be circumvented if you just put the time on the ticket. So we had to pay 12 dollars, this definitely soured the experience.

We went on the house tour and had holiday tea there after. Every time I go there I find out something new!! The tour guides are very interesting and knowledgeable. The tea afterwards was a nice way to spend a nice relaxing time with friends. The nibbles were tasty and they were great about making sure our teacups stayed topped off. Definitely plan to go to their next tour and tea!!!

Its nice and its decorated for the holidays, semmed smaller on the inside than I expected. The history on the tour is kind of basic with quite a few unanswered questions as there arent any diaries of life in the house. Worth the price of the tour but nothing exceptional if you have visited similar homes.

One of my favorite spots in pheonix. I love downtown Phoenix and heritage square is a must stop! Its right across the street from the childrens museum. The science museum is in the same block and its a great place to bring the kids. They had a huge pile of snow this year for the kids to play in. The old houses have been restored and look amazing. The feel is so unique and takes you back in time to old pheonix. There are food and cocktail options right in the square, a great grassy area you could bring your own picnic, and a parking garage right there. Make a day of the museums and food, you wont be disappointed.

This is a nice little place. Nothing to special. There is a little British style pub right there. They have good food, and Id recommend for anyone looking to have a casual time with friends or family. I didnt go inside as I wasnt feeling the greatest, we sat outside and ate food and had a good time talking with friends. Not a high pressure environment at all. You are in downtown though, so advisable to watch the people around you, as there is always creepers in urban areas.

My daughter and I stopped at the Heritage Square museum carriage house after visiting the Science Center. We didnt know anything about what it was or why it was there. The young woman explained a little background information about the houses and much to our dissatisfaction and disappointment, the only house we could actually visit was the Victorian house which had a fee for a tour to see it. While they have other houses, they were inhabited by businesses and werent set up to show the original way they were historically intended to be viewed which is a waste. I dont even know why they even have this as a destination of history. Arizona seems to only care about tourist money and keeping it flowing.

The heritage park has some good history and is a good time killer but in all honesty I wouldnt go out of my way to come tour the heritage house. Its certainly not for kids, the science center is tho. The tour is about 45 minutes long. Most of the stuff they show off in the home is from the same time period but not from the people who lived in the home. The tour guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. Its a great chunk of history and its neat how they preserved the whole block back. If you do go. Dont skip the pizza place next door. Its amazing

The Nobuo restaurant where I had lunch the other day is located in the Historic Heritage Square at the Heritage and Science Park. The Heritage Square dating back to the late 1800s is the oldest residential block in Phoenix reflecting the Phoenix history and Phoenix life in the past. At the Heritage Square there are galleries, restaurants, a Victorian gift shop, a coffee bar and an event facility which hosts cultural festivals, classic car shows and much more. The Heritage Square is also the location of Arizona Science Center, the Phoenix Museum of History and several restaurants.A park that holds the oldest residential block in Phoenix, AZ.

Whether its for a baseball game, or the Science Center or the doll and toy museum, it really is just a great place to walk around check out the art see whats going on with upcoming events and sit and enjoy a beautiful day. Theres so many nice little areas to sit on a park bench under Shady trees or have a photo op with a cool sculpture or grab a bratwurst from an awesome street vendor.
