Awesome park, but they closed the playground because of the Wuhan. Frisbee golf course had a whole bunch of burs. So careful not to step on them. Great basketball courts. Have no idea why they have a paid groundskeeper doing the rounds with the bathroom closed too. Its really weird because its almost like its totally open to the public while at the same time being totally inaccessible for the playground and bathroom. Theyre taking my tax dollars and paying their employees, theyre not letting me enjoy the benefits of what I paid for.
Really nice disc golf course and lots of hiking trails. Park and basketball too like I said really nice
This park is actually really great!! There is a decent amount of parking. There are restrooms, basketball courts, what looked to be a huge field, a great playground, and a disc golf course. All of this is right by a neighborhood and Buffalo Ridge Mountain.
I live across the street and we go here often. Great park for the kids. 18 hole Frisbee golf course and tons of hiking trails. Dog friendly.
This park would be nice but apparently due to covid people can play softball on softball teams and play soccer and do anything else however one old man cant go play basketball by himself. How does this make any sense and why would you have 1 park ranger out there ruining everybodys fun when 20 away theres a huge group of softball players but thats OK. You guys need to get your stuff together.
This is my favorite disc golf course in Phoenix. Playing mountain courses for me is the best way to play disc golf. Some vandalism but they are respectable enough not to damage tees and baskets
Fun little disc course. . Bring water but has good shade stops across the whole area.
Good disc golf course but needs tee and not markers better maintained
Basketball courts, hiking trails, well lot, lots of people, pet friendly football field. Beautiful scenery, public bathrooms!
Was a great park t let loose on.Lots of ups n downs on the back nine.Course maps and placards need to be updated.
Decent disc golf course. Pretty clean park.
I gave it a 3 star and not a 4 because there was lots of dog droppings. People please clean up after your pets.
Very nice little neighborhood park. Seems popular given that the parking lot was 2/3 full. Has a 27 hole frizbe golf course. Did not give it a try, but the kids tested the equipment extensively and liked it. My issue was a lack of seating neat the equipment and the lack of covered picnic benches. There seemed to be only one.
Hard course but always fun. Bring water!
I love this course. Keep a hard eye on your disc though. Lots of places for them to disappear!
Great desert park with frisbee golf!
I really enjoy the disc golf course here. Its a rocky mountain, so I wouldnt use your softer plastic. It will get tore up real quick. Plenty of shots up and down the mountain. Players tend to keep it clean these days, so thats a plus. The signs could get replaced/updated. Some holes have multiple pins to change locations from time to time.
Someone went to the effort of making several Balanced Rock Towers. When I move photos from my camera to my phone, Ill post more.
Great for a quick, rough hike.
I came there specifically to have my 2 1/2 year old daughter play on the playground equipment and I wasnt disappointed. There was a City of Phoenix employee there cleaning up and there was no trash in sight. Public restrooms (though I didnt go in) present, a huge field, baseball field, and basketball court. Across the street is a school with tennis courts. The park itself was quiet and the pavement was well-maintained. I would come here again!!
The kids seem to like it !
Best overall frolf course in Phoenix.
Its a beautiful place to walk with friends
A nice park most of the year. Avoid it during the summer unless you can survive on the surface of the sun.
Nice park with play places with varying activities for different ages and skill levels. Also has baseball field, soccer field, frisbee golf, and a nice little mountain you can hike. My 4 yr old enjoyed our hike to the top with some help.
Awesome disc golf course through the desert and up and down the mountain! 27 holes that change up every so often for different experiences! Also my toddler loves the playground and all the open space to run and play
Beautiful disc course. Only dirt and rocks though so be prepared to come home with some scuffs if you arent pro.
Great place for disc golf. Nice soccer field and baseball diamond. Good size playground for the kids. Fun place for weekend hang out
This is a great place to enjoy the outdoors: playground, disc golf, basketball etc. The restrooms are also very clean, which is a plus.
I liked the little flaggies on the disk gold goals
Nice disc golf course poorly labeled tee pads and chains. It was difficult finding the next tee pad. Then hard to find the chains on some. no hole maps at tees.
The kids enjoyed the playground. They also have a baseball field and basketball courts for people to enjoy as well.
IF you love playing Golf This is a good place for it. Had a great time here enjoyed alot.
Not bad for a nice walk around. I wish it still had the walking trails though.
Shaded play ground is perfect for young and older kids. Picnic tables, grass fields, basketball hoops and disc golf all make this park awesome
Great disc golf course
Good park and its a good places behind North Canyon High school
My boys and i love hiking here, especially when all the yellow flowers are in bloom!
I really like this park, its really close to our house, convenient for waking the dog. The disc golf course needs some TLC and there is traffic on the course sometimes. I think if it was updated, maybe put in some refreshing stations or at least some benches then it would really shine!
Fantastic disc golf course! Lots of interesting and varied challenges. Played 18 holes first time and loved it so much that we had to come back later that week to play the full 27. Not very much shade so bring tons of water and sunscreen. Watch out for the wind coming up the hill when shooting around the side of the mountain, it has a tendency to run away with discs sometimes even leaving you further than your tee shot!
27 hole disc golf course. Desert environment, partially up and down side of mountain. Some challenging holes, some are blind basket shots, usually not that crowded.
Went for the disc golf. This course is awesome!!! Missing a bit of signage or it would have been 5 starts. Some technical pin positions. Long bomb down hill shots. Very nice for fall, winter, and spring. Death in the summer. Watch for snakes, yes snakes its the desert. Of course as always bring more than enough water.
Good park for toddlers there are some unique obstacles in the playground.
Has Arizonas finest true desert disc golf course. with over 27 holes, with multiple additional pads. The crew who run the ridge are a fantastic bunch and if your are ever fortunate enough to encounter one of these individuals, thank them. without them and without you the sport wouldnt be here. keep throwing yall. and theres a nice park and bathroom and basketball and a baseball diamond for the family. Take a Hike up the mountain one night or up to TPAD for hole 7 when the sun goes down.
Best spot to unwind and quiet your mind
Really cool park for disc golf and has a back nine, dont forget to bring a towel.
Its a really nice park, I went here to play disc golf and it was really nice, just if you come, its kinda easy losing the disc because of the rocks and trees
Great for disc golf, hiking, mountain biking.
So heres how it all went down. I went and got me a twenty four pack of Labatt blue and made some great chicken wings with Franks Red hot. I put on my Zubas and headed on over to Buffalo Ridge Park. I figured there would be others like me here. There wasnt.
Great park!
Love this little escape right in the middle of the city. A true preserve of natural landscape offers hiking, walking trails, disk golf, Poke stops, wildlife. Love walking here!
Just a simple, cute park for a day with the kids. Bring a ball, kite or frisbee because theres not a crazy amount of play equipment
The equipment is well maintained and the kids always have fun. There are all kinds of things to do too.
Best Friday night Date idea!
Great jungle gym for kids, lots of parking, beautiful disc golf course
This park has a decent frisbee golf course. Download a map before going or you could get off track.
What a great park!
Wide open space
Great disc golf course. Playground, basketball courts, baseball & soccer fields.
One of the most beautiful and natural parks! Ive seen it all there ex: Mountain!Disc golf! baseball, soccer, hiking, playground, Mountain biking etc.. Natural Wildlife: jack rabbits, roadrunner, and Eagles and Hawks even seen a few Rattle Snakes so be cautious! But truly amazing scenery from the Mountain
Nice place during sunset
Great place during sunset
Great place to take kids, especially if under 12. Large play area, shaded. Plenty of room to run and even hiking available.
Cute park but not the best for little ones, my son isnt yet two and it was all chasing him around frantically because he was distracted by the sports game going on that night.
My kids love this place and for a trecheck out the mine dig site north of the park
Love this disc golf course. Very well laid out and clearly marked.
Nice frisbee golf course... good times
During the weekdays, it is an amazing Park. Tons for the kids to do with a lot of open area to run. The equipment is gorgeous and we have a blast. The only reason I had to give it less than five stars is on the weekends, there is no parking. There are about 10 parking spots for a park that could easily fit over 2,000 people. It really just does not make sense how they have it set up. We will not be back on the weekends.
Great disc golf course and for dogs plenty of desert and grass
The view is great and the disc golf is better
Very nice park only wish I knew what the signs said in sign language
Great park, lots of amenities & plenty to do! Awesome disc golf course
We played disc golf on vacation here. Great elevation and very cool views. The course was diversed. The map and signs could us some improving. It was difficult to be play in order.
Its convenient to my spot
Nice park. Could use some more shade though..
Great park to take the kids pretty clean and a fairly safe area. Not alot of bad people or things in the area so thats definitely a plus. 4 stars
Fun but rugged disc golf course. Lots of gravel and sharp surfaces, nice play but tough on discs
I come to this park to play disc golf, but there are options for soccer, baseball, and a playground for kids. The park also has a bathroom which is really convenient. The disc golf course is challenging and really fun. There are many hazards and the additional challenge of changing elevation forces you to focus more on each throw. The terrain is really rocky, every play through you are getting more exercise with all of the hiking. Be mentally prepared for this course and if you have someone who fatigues easily from hiking, it may not be the most enjoyable for them.
Great place to take your friends and family very little attraction but a park is a park family time is key thanks Buff from early mornings to midnight convos buff is always the place to be!
I san an Owl here
I love this park, great views of beautiful arizona desertscapes, and wildlife. My son learned how to ride his bike here.
Very cool cars and The Cafe upstairs is Great
Pretty and fun disc golf park
Great disc golf course. Also, if youre a paraglider pilots, its one of the best places in Phoenix to kite.
Great north valley park with hiking trails and playground plenty of open fields and basketball courts
