Great park for flying kites. I would kite my paraglider wing but to many sand spurs to have to remove from it. The city needs to feterlize this large grass park!But great place for kids to play soccer and other sports and yes it has a baseball back stop!

This park is beautiful, people run,bike, exercise daily every morning and evening, God is good!

... its a neighborhood park and in a good neighborhood too. Wide enough for any out door activities. Its got a public restroom and playground, basketball courts, benches but its better to sit on the grass under the few trees around the park. Not so many trees that you cant run into any of them if you running around the park. People BBQ Ive also seen people training athletically. Kites, drones, Nerf guns, water balloons theres plenty of room for it all.

Big park for family fun.

Neighborhood park and nice for families. A bit small but nice. Basketball and volleyball courts and play area for children. Enough room for soccer and football. Overall a nice park.

Needs more green grass

This is a right sized park, if you are looking for playground, BBQ area etc. But not so large that you cannot have your children close. It is also close to the Maryvale PD precinct, so that also helps with people behaving appropriately. Would recommend this park for the future outings.

Be careful if you take your children here to play. I took my boys because this park has a lot of open field for football. However my younger boys love the swings and playground area. I went to check on my boys literally 5 steps away and there was a used condom. I couldnt believe it kids running around and theres an item like that just next to playground. Im very disappointed about the cleanliness of this park. Then I remember its Phoenix and this most likely will never be the last. Hopefully this helps get the city out there more to inspect and clean.

Really need maintenance the all places

My kids enjoy it. But like someone else said its not safe at night. A lot of people have been murdered here or shot and served. I moved over here from Tempe March of 2016 and there has been 7 or 8 shootings

We were there for 20 mins. Ok park but... dirty bathroom and extremely foul mouth, disrespectful kids. Oh and our soccer ball was stolen

Best time to go for a walk in the park and evening baseball practice, basketball or evening scroll with your dogs

Fun park

One of the Rangers there was a jerk. He kept telling us to hurry up when there was no one behind us or in front of us, he even insisted that we skipped a hole. Little old man with a hat and glasses needs to be fired. Other than that it was a pretty decent time and a very good course for the price.

Its a nice park and theres also would do their who sells elotes and mangoñadas that are very good

Lamest park ever!

Its okay. Could use more picnic benches and also not very many lights at night. Its really dark. Better come while its daylight or early evening. Lots of soccer and runners also which is nice.

People always getting shot here. Not safe when the sun goes down. Has a huge playground for kids in the morning and a basketball and volleyball court and a huge field. Always a birthday party in one of the Ramada’s but at night it’s dangerous

This is a really nice park, I see alot of families come here and throw birthday parties or just take the children to the play ground, its also a great park to workout.

This is my favorite park. Living across the street from it, I couldnt ask for more.

One of the better parks in the area. You can rest here and spend a decent amount of time safely during the day. Remember to always abide by park hours which are clearly posted at various points around the park.

Desert star park is a good place to go for a walk, take your dogs and kids to play. I just wish that they cut the grass soon because its looking kinda messy

The one thing I totally dont like about this park is that is way to dark on the playgrounds. Its quiet, nice park to go for a walk.

Nice small quiet park, only about 2 square blocks, with playground, volleyball and basketball courts, a baseball field and plenty of open space in between to walk your dog. Also has 2 large overhangs for birthday parties open restrooms and 2 drinking fountains. 2 .

You can tell how loved this park is by how busy it is every evening. Lots of parents, kids, and teens from the neighborhood spend time here.

Its a cute little park, but there is no parking areas so we had to park on the street. My three boys had a lot of fun though and it was fairly clean.

The restrooms have no doors haha, other than that though, it has a small parking area, really good place to workout (it has a designated area for working out which is really neat), and create great memories. Ive been there when I was about 7 or 10 years old. Good times!

The Mary Bus broke down on 86th and Encano, I was on my way to work but I got to work on time. One of the bosss gave me a ride to 64th and Encano. Nobody was at the park too early.

Nice park for the area plenty of pokestops and gyms for those on Pokemon GO. Public bathrooms are available. Nice little fitness area next to the playground for adults.

The park is nice and small, but it needs to be more up kept with the landscaping. Moreover, I hope more can be done because there are other parka that kept in great condition, that are in the city of phoenix.
