This hike is intense! Must have strong endurance to accomplish this hike.We made it to the very top. The scenic view is beautiful. Such a wonderful view of Los Angeles. Come prepared with bottled water and headphones or a strong hike partner.

Very steep the whole way up, but well worth it. I would recommend to experienced hikers or beginners as long as you dont plan on tackling the whole mountain in one go. Parking is hard to find after 10am, but not impossible. There are public restrooms, hikers are friendly, the view is gorgeous.. Definitely my favorite hiking spot! Closes at 7pm.

Do you want to see what your made of? Do you want to climb to 2,608 feet? Do you want to enjoy the panoramic views of Phoenix? If so, this is the place to go! The Summit Trail (#300), challenging us hikers to a 1,200-ft elevation gain, rocky, crazy kick your butt climb. If you make it to the top, high five yourself because you accomplished a feat. Just make sure you have plenty of water, great sunscreen and good sturdy shoes.

Parking space is limited during these days because of construction. Come earlier during weekends.

Parking is a problem but if you love hiking you must visit here once and the top view is just amazing..
