Some times I make a run for the trail to get some fresh air and site seeing.

Visted here after originally planning to go to dobbins lookout only to find out that its currently under construction. Ive never been here before so I kept driving to see what I could find and was pleasantly surprised. after following the road i was lead to a pretty big parking lot and a great spot overlooking the city of phoenix. i wanted to see the sunset but i was a little late. either way it really put into perspective how big the city is. I took a photo but it did absolutely no justice. theres also a park bench up there that overlooks pretty much all of south mountain preserve which was pretty cool. i highly reccomend checking this place out sometime. Gate closes at 7 and you can still get out until 11 .

Driving up to the parking lot, alone is an experience. Amazing views. The trail starts at the parking lot...I chose to take east to meet with Midlife Crisis Trail. A sunrise hike, that brought out wildlife, golden light and views like no other.

The view was spectacular. From the sun setting to watching the lights in the valley come alive. Even seeing the radio towers lit up at such a close range was lovely. Well worth seeing the vista from that view point.

A drive up with amazing scenery. When we got to a stop to park and explore, it was nice and cool to see the city from the aerial view. Definitely make this a stop.

Smallish car park. The trail leads to some really beautiful viewpoints. Hence the name!

Went to go watch the sunrise with kids. Lookout point was gated off. So we ended with Trailhead. There was no complaint what so ever. The scenery was very beautiful. Plan on going back soon.

Very few people in the parking lot and on the trail on a Wednesday morning. Good little hike down and back up, with great views at the top.

Views are spectacular. There is way more people on the weekend as opposed to coming during the week but still a great place to take the family sightseeing or for a good hike.

Nice, doable hike

The vista over Phoenix is spectacular. Climb over a thousand feet bý car. Bike or hike it if your extremely adventurous.

Our family does a lot of hiking and mountain biking at South Mountain. Buena Vista trailhead can get you onto Geronimo, CDL or the beloved National trail, affectionately known as Natty. Awesome area to hike or ride!

View is priceless

I decided to drive to the burns vista trailhead and I was astounded at the views that this location provides. There are a couple peaks easily accessible from this location that will provide great views of Phoenix!

I Take this trail to Fatmans pass. And on good days,. Past the conservation core structure, To the East Ramada.
