My girlfriend received a private tour as a gift for her birthday. From the beginning the process was seamless. Marek has the booking process down pat and was extremely accommodating. When we arrived he had everything set up for us so there was no need to bring any other essentials. He works with riders of all skill levels and is very knowledgeable on mountain biking and the desert. The bikes were easy to ride and the trails were great for all skill levels. Being natives to Arizona we gained a whole new perspective on the desert, nevertheless this would be a fantastic tour for visitors from out of state/country. We would highly recommend going on this tour to anybody looking for a fun and educational tour of the desert.

This early morning bicycle tour was one of my most memorable experiences! Marek, the guide, amateur botanist and professional owner of the bicycle tour company was fabulous. He booked the tour to fit my schedule, provided the state of the art fat tire bicycle and water pack, snacks, commentary, and multiple photo ops (see pics). I totally recommend checking out this experience.

My boyfriend and I recently rented mountain bikes from Marek. Because we were visiting from out of town we really didn’t know much about the area or where to go. Marek went out of his way to accommodate us. He recommended a trail that was really good for mountain biking and even offered to meet us there with the bikes because our car couldn’t fit them. Once we were there, he got us set up with everything including helmets, gloves, camelbacks for water, and even traced out a trail on the map that he thought we’d enjoy in the time we had. We had such a great time. If we’re ever back in Phoenix we will certainly look to rent bikes from Marek again!

I visited Phoenix for a couple of days and found Sonoran Outdoor Adventures on google and was interested in an mountain bike tour since I had never done such a tour before. This was an amazing choice because the tour with Marek was well planned and he provided great instructions that were easy to follow even for someone who has never mountain biked before. We stopped multiple times to take some awesome pictures with the Fat Bikes and the desert terrain in the background. Marek is also very knowledgeable about the desert wildlife and vegetation and can provide you with interesting information about both. The landscape is absolutely beautiful and unique and Marek took me on multiple trails that were both very enjoyable and challenging. Depending on your level of fitness, he will adjust the tour to fit your needs so dont worry if you are not in the best shape. It was very easy to communicate with Marek and he is very friendly, helpful and punctual. Took my family on a private tour. It is a memory we will treasure forever. Marek is a fantastic guide and was able to tailor the tour to our family’s abilities. The photos and videos he took and shared with us were amazing. I highly recommend this excursion, it was unique, and beautiful—I can’t believe all the sights we saw—all within the city of Phoenix.

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Mark was an excellent guide who exudes passion for what he does. Dont bother bringing your camera - Mark takes exceptional photos with his iPhone that hell share with you shortly after the trip. We got pictures at incredibly beautiful spots all throughout our journey. He really works hard to make this a memorable and wonderful experience. Although I was a bit timid with biking through windy paths, he was sure to warn us before any rough turns so we could prepare. He accommodated to our skill level while maintaining the perfect balance of challenging us and taking breaks as needed. Mark is incredibly kind and personable and the experience felt like riding bikes with a friend - a very knowledgeable friend whos treating you to a thrilling and memorable tour through the desert! If youre considering this trip, its absolutely worth the price you pay for the memories youll make.

We have a trip of 8 guys every year. This year we went to Phoenix. We did a fat bike tour of the desert. Merek and his helping guide were great. Personable and considerate and read our group well. They were knowledgeable and not condescending but encouraging for all. I myself am out of shape but can ride a bike. Others in our group are very gun ho. Our guides never made me feel like I was a crutch of the group even though I was at times. They helped me through in all areas.....we were on the more advanced trails they said but we made it and I had a lot of fun. They really work to the level of thier riders and have a feel for what they can do. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to experience the beauty and ruggedness that is the Sonora Desert. Fun and scenic! Five stars!

My family and I went on a fat bike tour and it was a total FIVE star experience. Our guides, Marek and Adam, we awesome. Not only did they teach us the basics of fat biking (all of us were beginners) but they also took time to teach us about the landscape. I can’t wait to go back to Scottsdale and go on another fat bike tour with Sonoran Outdoor Adventures!

Hands down the best way to see and learn about the desert. Marek was FABULOUS. He catered the tour to our party of 3, was interesting and knowledgeable, and took care of all the extras such as providing water during and after the bike tour, providing power snacks, taking photos of us, and making sure that we were picked up by UBER.

If you like mountain biking, you will absolutely love Fat Bikes!!! My family and I had a great time fat biking in Phoenix with Sonoran Outdoor Adventures. Marek was very helpful throughout our planning process before we arrived. He also met up with us a couple days before our ride to help size my 2 smaller children to bikes that would best suit their smaller size.He was very easy to reach as we had many question about our first trip to Arizona. He recommend places to hike and visit.He was very knowable and informative with the local trails we rode on.He also provided us with plenty of great pictures of our ride. He provided us all with camel backs that were full of water and ice and snacks during our ride.Fat biking was the highlight of our trip.We would definitely use Sonoran Outdoor Adventures again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure in the Phoenix area.

This was my first mountain biking experience and Marek made sure it was not only safe but a blast!! Besides the amazing views and pictures you get, the most remarkable part is hes truly passionate about his service and his clients. We scheduled a fatbike desert tour with Sonoran Outdoor Adventures while we visited Scottsdale. Marek was very courteous and accommodating regarding when and where we were riding. He made sure we were equipped appropriately and safely with the right size fatbike, hydration bladder and energy bars. Once underway he made sure each of us was comfortable and safe within the limits of our experience level explaining and modifying if necessary our route. He also stopped or slowed so we stayed together. He passed along interesting facts regarding the historic and natural features of the area.Our group was very happy with the experience. I would recommend Sonoran Outdoor Adventures for visitors of moderate levels of fitness to the advanced. That being said, my advice would be to try to form a group of similar ability levels to get the most for your money.

We had a great time with Mark! He knew the area and what great with us even though we were out of shape. The trails were awesome and the bike were fun. A must do in Phoenix!

This was such an amazing experience! I wouldt consider my self in great shape, but was able to mountain bike 20 miles without feeling depleted. Merek, our guide, provided camel backs with water, snacks and plenty of breaks. He was very knowledgeable about the trails and terrain. It made for such a fun time with friends and would highly recommend it to anybody thinking of taking a tour.

I recently visited Phoenix for work and had one morning to myself. Ive always wanted to try mountain biking in the desert and saw great reviews for Sonoran Outdoor Adventures. Boy were they justified!Marek was extremely responsive in setting up the tour, answering all of my questions and providing flexibility to make sure I could have enough time after the tour to shower at my hotel and make an afternoon flight. He met me promptly at 6:30 for the sunrise tour and even gave me a courtesy call beforehand to confirm he was on his way. A great touch!The tour itself was fantastic! I told Marek that I was once an experienced mountain biker but had let those skills atrophy over the last few years. We started off easy but he seemed to adapt our route on the fly as he gained a better sense for my skills and physical ability and we ultimately made one of the longer and more difficult loops of the park, which definitely made me feel challenged, accomplished, and very satisfied with the experience.That said, Mareks tours appear to be a great option for riders of all skill levels. He pointed out relatively easy, flat trails that could certainly occupy the four hours of his tours, but the park also offers more challenging terrain. Plus, the fact that he uses fat-tire bikes over regular mountain bikes is a huge asset. A lot of the trails have loose rock and sand that would easily cause a bike with regular tires to handle a bit squirrelly. The fat tires made for a smooth and extremely stable ride and go a long way in boosting confidence.For the final touch, Marek brought water in a Camelbak and energy bars to make sure I was hydrated and had enough energy to finish the ride.A wonderful experience all around and one Ill definitely repeat the next time Im in town.

My daughter Stacy and I decided to do something new and exciting in Phoenix last week. We went mountain biking, precisely for bikes, and we had a fantastic time. Marek our guide planned a fun ride based on my daughters and my abilities . SONORAN OUTDOOR ADVENTURES was a great choice our intro to mountain biking . I would highly recommend it to anyone.P.s. Had a blast hitting the trails with my brother and Marek! I loved the way Marek tailored the trip to our ability (experienced cyclists, inexperienced mountain bikers). Fantastic terrain and views. I would especially recommend the fat bike tours for anyone curious about fatbikes or any road bikers who are curious about mountain biking. Would absolutely highly recommend!

This experience was by far the best part of our 5-day trip to Scottsdale, AZ. We (2) booked a guided 4 hour tour on fat-tire bikes with Sonoran Outdoor Adventures and ended up having a great time!! The owner, Marek, is super nice and a very experienced mountain biker! Marek communicated with us the day before, and the day of, regarding where to meet, what to bring and what to expect. We had some biking experience going into this ride but not on fat-tire bikes and not in the desert! Marek met us at the trailhead with bikes, helmets and Camelbacks filled with cold water and power bars. The fat-tire bikes were easy to shift, had good brakes and comfy seats. Marek assessed our abilities, and adjusted the ride accordingly. The ride took us on really well maintained trails through the Sonoran desert and Marek seemed to know every turn in the huge trail system. We made several stops during the ride to hydrate, get off our bikes, and take lots of pictures. Expect some brief climbs and hairpin turns but nothing dangerous or too difficult. Loved it!!
