A place for Real History. Unlike the public schools who cut history. Take a long walk through this park on the weekend and spend an hour or so walking around with the kids and teach them true American History. Highly recommend it! 5***** A+++

Nice park! Pretty! Great for gatherings. But its NOT a place you want to be when the sun goes down. And lock your doors. It would have another star if one didnt have that look over your shoulder/clutch your purse kind of feeling.

What a great memorial to so many significant historical events. A shame that there are some empty spaces that a statue or plaque has recently been removed. Good or bad, it is part of our history and removing the reminder doesnt change a thing for the good, but may slow the change of a bad.

Went for the annual 7A rally, and it was a great turnout. Thousands of armed but peaceful citizens rallying for their 2nd amendment constitutional rights. There was zero trash or littering to be seen. There was a heavy police presence, but no arrests were reported, as well as zero violence. There was a half dozen food trucks, so plenty of variety to choose from. Tents and tables were set up pushing their political agendas, as well as various political candidates running for office that were volleying for support. Very well organized and executed event.

No money spent too see this place so there’s no excuse. Great military monuments of all branches and wars. But wait, there’s more. The guns of the USS Arizona and Missouri are waiting to meet you. It’s way cool to stand underneath them imagining how loud they must have sounded. Just amazing! Speaking of Navy ships: Go Navy, beat Army!️
