I had the pleasure of getting married here on 9/12/2020, and i must say that my over all experience with jennifer and her staff was amazing. Everyone was so helpful, and very pleasant, the food was very tasty, just lovely. My husband and I had an great experience with this venue while planning our wedding, yes even in the middle of this pandemic. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a hassle free experience.

What a beautiful place. It is now a venue for wedding and such, but the grounds and what’s left of the original buildings are incredible. I love learning the history of the area and this was a cool find

Planning and hosting a wedding in the COVID era, especially for folks working at venues, is not easy--but you wouldnt know that based on the incredible service from the Joshuas Catering staff at the beautiful Ridgeland Mansion. My now-husband and I just got married at Ridgeland yesterday and had the small, intimate ceremony and dinner we always wanted. Jenn A. is really the one who brought it all together. In the hectic and stressful year leading up to the wedding (made more stressful by the virus), Jenn was endlessly kind, generous, and helpful. From holding together big-picture plans to giving my husband and I our own plates during cocktail hour to make sure we got a chance to eat the passed appetizers, Jenn really made this day possible. Every single guest commented on how beautiful the venue was, how absolutely incredible all the food was, and how wonderful every single member of the Joshuas team was the entire night. Before our wedding, it seemed like a law of nature that weddings just could not go off without a hitch, but the whole team at the Ridgeland Mansion pulled off the impossible. Im a laid-back bride generally, but even the most stressed bride or groom would have their mind put at ease at a Ridgeland wedding. If you cant tell, I cant say enough good things about this venue and the people who make it great. What a beautiful day.

Worst place Ive ever been to for a wedding. The services was horrible:1. I had to ask for water many times.2. The servers were dancing on the dance floor vs. helping.3. Food was mediocre.4. They didnt let guest in and blamed it on the bride and groom because it was a surprise wedding.5. The wedding planner didnt keep to time line and they blamed DJ.1. The champagne was on table but cleaned up before toast. Actually toast never happened. Oh not to mention we as guests were never told about cake cutting.2. The planner fed her family before anyone was sat.1. She allowed her family to sit in area that guests were allowed to sit but turned guest away advising we could not sit there yet. Oh not to mention they said they owned the place.6. Did not set up all the decorations.Point blank worst place to have a wedding or any event. Way to ruin a special day!
