One of my fav spots in Philly!! Always a great time at this Philly staple of a smorgasbord yummies ... pick your cravings lol...Great chocolates, donuts, fresh fruits, breads, pickles, Buffalo chicken salad, fresh seafood, banana cornbread, alligator gumbo, cheese, coffee, fresh flowers, delish soul food, samples of alcohol and soo much more.Foot traffic is definitely a 1/4 percent now because of COVID-19, and some businesses arent open;(, but those that are open, Im glad to support. Not sure I agree with allowing ppl to sit and eat inside... not sure thats the safest move right now. Too much at risk!
This place is a food market. Lots of Amish home made goods, meat and fish markets. You will get hungry the minute you open the doors to the reading terminal. They have all kinds of artisan goods and great places to eat. There is a variety of foods to choose from if your hungry, so try an look up whats inside before you enter or youll be screaming i cant decide it all looks so delicious . There was indoor an outdoor seating as well.
Tons of great small business. Lots of food to choose from. Fresh made stuff too. The fudge sold there is amazing. They have a bunch of Amish stores and even fresh fruits and veggies. You can find any food you want. Its really crowded and the stalls are pretty close together. It wasnt designed for social distancing, its impossible. So if you are reading this during covid-19, then enter at your own risk. Theres no parking at the building but plenty around. Great place to grab lunch. And buy sweets. Tons of fresh made sweets. Not all the booths are amazing but the variety is second to none.
Reading Terminal Market is one of the original markets in the US.I always enjoy stopping by Reading Terminal Market. Whether youre in the mood for ice cream, authentic chinese, donuts, diner food, and more. Youll find it here. Consider it as a must-see if youre ever in Philly! The market is huuuuge and has such a variety! From the most delicious-looking sweets to the most savory-looking sandwiches, sides, and more. I truly wanted to try EVERYTHING.My biggest disappointment was the fact that I was only in town for a short while and staying at a hotel so I couldnt buy any of the amazing meats and veggies that I passed as I strolled through. I did pick up a few donuts from Beilers to split with my boyfriend and a really good pretzel-wrapped hot dog from Millers Twist and some ice creams as well. Everything was delicious!
I come here multiple times a week for groceries, its a delightful market where you can buy a huge range of food from a huge range of vendors. Its easily accessible to multiple forms of public transit, and it has reduced rates of garage parking compared to other garages in Philly. If you can stomach the crowds and swing by here weekly, youll quickly be making more detailed recipes and focusing on quality in your groceries.
I hope this place makes it through the pandemic. Its getting dicey, many shops are in danger of going out of business. Please visit if you feel comfortable ! This place is a godsend. It is a top quality market for produce and grocery but also famous shops known for cookies, chocolate, doughnuts, and cheese steaks. Awesome thing to do or place to eat in Philly
Amazing place! Went there with my family several times in my trip to Philadelphia. Great place to get breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner (salmon, cheese stake sandwich, ribs, brisket, Chinese food, etc...) dessert (nuts, chocolates, amazing cookies...), Philadelphia gifts and so much more!
Love this place! The Amish baked goods and fresh meats are superb. The Italian vendor across from Iovines is amazing. I always get the Rigatoni and sausage and peppers. They give you a big enough portion for two meals! Also enjoy the Thai vendor. Their chicken and yellow curry or salmon and shrimp over rice is delicious.
Even with a pandemic.. still great! Middle of the week, early evening.. few people so distance wasnt an issue. Excited to finally try a few stables in the area. The famous cookie co. and Millers Twist are two favorites and trying Beilers we picked up for the AM this weekend :)
I went to Reading Terminal with my mom and i have the best time just looking around. sINCE cOVID 19, this was the least crowded its has ever been in my life. I went on a sunday around 2pm. We went to Bassets the ice cream place. The best ice cream made like down south back in the day.
Even during the madness that is 2020, the market continues to be a place of wonder for foodies from around the country.Masks worn by everyone and a great experience. One small, but understandable downside is taking your food to go... Although a couple of spots have curbside dining.
Great market place for quality products that are packaged and processed like at Wal-Mart and other mainstream stores.Iovine bros has a huge array of fruits and vegetables for all meals you wish to prepare. If youre looking for good food, try Kellys. Excellent soul food selection and the taste is hard to beatIf you have a sweet tooth, look no further. Termini bros has a auxiliary location within and another chocolate candy store directly across from them too. There is also a Amish pretzel store that puts Auntie Anns to shame. Their milkshajes are awesome and prices are very fair. All and all, its a great place to visit if youre a tourist or resident of the city. Make it your goal.
Fun Philly market with a taste of everything, plus shopping! Molly Malloys is just 1 of the places to grab breakfast. The homemade pop-tarts are the best. You cant go wrong with any vendor!
It was my 1st time there. It is worth visiting. They have good meat vendors. The Philly steak was mediocre. I do not recommend that.
Great food options! The pretzel hot dog place there is amazing! The donuts in there are a mustAnd theres this other place that had really good garlic wings, its in the back of the market. They also had really good avocado toast.I tried a pizza hot dog, it wasnt worth it.I dont remember the name of the actual restaurant I ate at but when you walk around youll find them.
New Black Owned Business at Reading Terminal but not new to the Business,, Mark and Tia El. Excellent service, very professional, personable and great presentation. The Sweet Potatoe Pie and 7-up Cake was delicious. They welcome you to come by and sample the Sweets at Sweet T! You wont be disappointed and you will be back.
I get my fresh meats here and never had an issue. Some butchers give you the choice of meat packages which make things very affordable. I feel as though all the meat is affordable with or without meat package because its good quality and very very fresh. Parking is not an issue because your tickets can be validated. That gives you the option to enjoy others vendors there as well.
This place is amazing. Get a taste of history and give your taste buds a boost. This place is amazing! My favorite merchat is Little Thai Market. The best $8.50 youll spend for the Curry Salmon!!
Always a unique experience to visit the many diverse business stands from food to clothing to seasonings, etc. I got a bit turned around and a Market Ambassador, Cheron Henson, noticed my bewildered look and asked if she could help. She steered me in the right direction so I could get a tasty lunch at a Thai counter. I ran into her again while looking for a place to sit and eat. She steered me in the right direction again. She was very knowledgeable about the Market and she carried herself in a personable and professional manner. If youre ever in Philadelphia, be sure to visit the Reading Terminal Market. You wont be disappointed.
This is my most favorite market in philadelphia! love love LOVE Iovine Brothers Produce.. good quality and the kale is always fresh, love the option of bigger produce bags... thank you
I love markets of any kind, whether it food, vendors, crafts, whatever. I love it all. The Reading Terminal tends more towards foods and deliciousness. I could spend a long time and a lot of money there.
I loved this place! Food (we had a fantastic authentic Philly Cheesesteak), groceries, sweets... just the coolest place!
Must-hit spot for tourists and locals alike. There are so many different types of vendors here and quite a few that are quintessential Philly businesses. Youve got to wander around and try some places!
First time visiting, nice place but my anxiety level was a little elevated due to the many people inside the market (some with and without mask). Dont think Ill be visiting no time soon until this pandemic is better controlled.
This is a must stop if you are anywhere near this area of the city! There is something here for everybody. I live in the neighborhood and still stop by twice a week to pick something up. A foodies paradise, you can eat there and/or as I often do, pick up the freshest quality ingredients to take home and feed my family and friends. Need a quick gift or a souvenir from your visit, also the perfect place to get everything on your list.
Absolutely great marketplace with every assortment of foods and materials to buy. Come by for breakfast or lunch to try one of the many different restaurants based here. Pick up some desserts or snacks at the different bakeries and candy shops. Go grocery shopping at the various delis or local grocers available here. I would be very happy to keep coming back to try it all!
Went there a few years ago it was beyond my expectation. I highly recommend you don’t miss this iconic place. Be sure to come hungry. I would definitely visit again.
Reading terminal deserves the 5 ***** rating that it gets, keep up the Great work we luv u & I know that I will continue to support you & give verbal advertisement to all I come in contact with who are hungry...
I enjoy shopping at the Reading Terminal. They have a variety of products and tasty food. Came home with dinner, sides and gidts
Absolutely loved this place. We went almost every day that we were in Philadelphia. Excellent breakfast, Italian heroes and my favorite the Amish donuts! We had so much fun. A must visit if youre in Philly.
Spectacular market in Philadelphia downtown that will take care of whatever you have in mind for lunch or just buying groceries. They have an outdoor space where you can eat right after you order food inside the market. Different entrances so you avoid close contact with crowds and safety protocols are in place. It was so good that we went twice! A MUST if you visit Philadelphia.
HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AT READING TERMINAL THE FOOD IS AMAZING AND GOOD ALWAYS GO TO THE TERMINAL AND GET MY FOOD I WILL NOT GO KNOW WHERE BUT READING TERMINAL LOVE YALL
This is a go and go often kind of place. Just simply magical if you love great food. Must visit if you are not from Philly.
The Reading Terminal Market is one of my favorite places to go and eat! Just a fun place! And for you Sandwich lovers! Herschels East side deli! The Cornbeef, Pastrami is insane!!!
A great stop here, offering many food/beverage options. Social distancing can be a bit of a challenge in a few spots, but it can be done. I highly recommend a visit.
Omgoodness! So much food. It was delicious, hot and very fresh. I has scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and a blueberry pancakes. I didnt remember our waitresses but she had a beautiful smile, checked on us several times to make sure all was good. Great experienceI will definitely go back
This was our first time coming here. They have so many shops to stop at and the smells are amazing. I would highly recommend coming here. Theres an opportunity to purchase just about anything you want.
I have always loved the reading terminal market and I was so glad to see how well they have adapted to covid times. Everything felt super safe. Food was as delicious as ever. Some outdoor sit down space available. The fun energy was somehow still there.
An amazing variety vendors with foods and other items from all over the tristate area. Fresh baked confections, fresh flowers and so much more.
Family fav. You can get whatever kind of food your little heart desires.. and its all fresh. The other little shops have very interesting and original products for sale. Good quality, not too expensive!!
Great source of food, both prepared as well as raw ingredients in the grocery sections. They have products brought down from Lancaster County and sold there. Groceries and meat arent necessarily cheap but are of great quality. The food options are vast, there is definitely something for everyone!
It was a nice place go visit. There were all kinds of foods. I had chicken biscuit. I recommend any one who is visiting the city to stop by. The place close around 5:30 pm. There is no parking so i parked on the hotel cross the street.
My favorite low budget eatery! Located in the heat of Center City Philadelphia. Youll love it. Make sure you stop by Becks Cajun for mouth watering Louisiana cuisine!
Love the Reading Terminal Market! It has the best and freshest food ever! The pork and beef sandwiches from Tommy DiNics are amazing!
Reading terminal has always been a great place to shop and eat. I havent been there in years. It was very nice to see the improvements that were made. I love it, and will go back to shop.

6ft distance. Not crowded. No eating in unless u n line. Went to cash n my City food voucher. But the places I went to before dont do them anymore. But in it all very nice. Got a sandwich and out.
Reading Terminal Center City Philadelphia whats the best please is just not enough room to go shopping for your meat. Also dont forget to get your carrot cake, cheesecake the best. Also they have a good a place where you can get ribs BBQ ribs when BBQ chicken the best. Oh and dont forget the other place they have any are there seals Lobster crab macaroni and cheese.
I enjoyed my visit at the reading terminal. I have not visited in a long time. We walked around trying to decide where to eat at with all the eateries you can choose from and I decided to go for a salmon and rice bowl at the Thai Market which is so delicious by the way. I brought some cookies at the cookie shop near the entrance door on Filbert Street.
Possibly one of the best and finest places to be in philly if you wish to buy food. Whether prepared, raw, artisanal and all other great forms of food, this is the place to go. If your a lover of fine cheeses and coffee, this is for you. The only place that rivals the terminal is the Italian Market on Washington Ave.
From out of state, and we loved this place! So much to look at and tons of different foods to try. A BBQ place in their smelled amazing! We got the kids fresh made donuts with they devoured, we got a cheesesteak sandwich which was amazing (forget the name of the place), cant skip on the fresh cheesecake from Termini Bros! Its absolutely amazing!
I visited Bee Natural a boutique if the sorts that offers handmade/homemade candles, lip balms, hand creams and a variety of all natural bee wax products. They must have at least 15-20 different lip balms in flavors like green tea, pumpkin, pizza, vanilla lavender, currants, peppermint and so many more. They are only $2.50 each which makes you want to grab a couple of different scents. The glide on smooth without any waxy residue which is nice. The also have lovely hand-carved honeycomb candles reasonable price that make great gifts.
Not very busy during Covid-19 weekdays. Fresh baked goods and many good food places for lunch. Parking can be expensive if youre making a day trip of downtown.
What do you need? Ice cream, fish, raw goat milk, honey, wine, beer, fresh produce and some of the greatest sandwiches in the world. From it shops to its smell it a one of a kind place.
Still one of the best places in the world to me. Been coming here since I was 5yrs old. The Amish always have the best food. FRESH. ANYTHING YOU ARE IN THE MOOD TO EAT YOU CAN FIND HERE.
Wonderful place i love 2 get my alligator sausage & gumbo w/alligator sausage. I love the meat markets. Its a wonderful place just 2 get food
Great place, lots of good food to try, many stalls and different things to eat. Been around for over 100 years.
Great variety of fresh and prepared local foods. Bakeries, meat markets, diners, delis, and produce shops make up this eat-in or take-away market. A treat for your taste buds and your eyes!
Such an eccletic collection of goods..chocolate, honey, meat, herbs and teas and so many other souveniers. Plan to spend a minimum of one hour to two hours in it to check out all the stores
Went to Carmens for a cheesesteak. Steak was good. The fries were horrible. Problem was the LONG wait. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish.
Cant say enough good things about this market, food is all delicious so the only negative is having to choose in one outing. From dessert to main course you wont be disappointed, they even have 2 fresh juice bars. Cookies, candy, and ice cream. A bunch of other shops for souvenirs and t-shirts.
Dutch Eating Place has the most delicious Reuben sandwich Ive ever had...and Ive had a few. Theyre my favorite! The dressing is tangy, the sauerkraut is fresh and its served hot. It was a highlight of my trip to Philadelphia.
I love reading terminal, been going for years. One of my favorite places. Always clean and the vendors are friendly.
Its a wonderful experience so many options, ordered breakfast at a Dutch place and the food was great and the portions were huge .
I havent been in many years, but I really enjoyed seeing the variety of shops and vendors. It makes a person wonder where would they start after walking through an entrance.
Love this place! So much to choose from. Prices to me are a lil pricey but worth it. Cant get a park on the street either! And inside parking is so expensive!!! Watch it yall cause Philly needs money so, u will get a ticket from their meter people!!!
I went there Tuesday. Alot of places are closed. And there is no social distancing inside. They dont force to wear mask. I saw more than 4 people there wear no mask.
Enjoyable. So much food. I loved it. You will surely find something things. I couldnt resist the pies. Bought some Indian food. Great place.
Get parking validated when you make a purchase over ten dollars. Always so many choices here. You cant go wrong and always return to try something new.
No visit to Philly is complete without a visit to the market. Incredible vibe and food! Take your time strolling before you decide what to eat :) I got a breakfast place from the Cajun spot ( cant remember the full name) and an edamame wrap from Gyros. Delishhh
I don’t know if it’s just PA, or what but this place always makes me so happy!!BECKS is fantastic I love there muffulettas! And definitely recommend there gumbo!! Only thing I noticed (NOT BECKS) some areas could be a little cleaner!
Not as good as its been in the past. They is no longer a place to sit and eat due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Its all takeout only. There are seats and standing tables outside, but not enough for everyone there, and in the scheme of things wasnt tht many. Hopefully it goes back to the way it used to be. I will report more on the next trip there
My girlfriend and I stopped at Termini Bros. to get fresh cannolis and the worlds smoothest, silkiest cheesecake. Score!I was a little disappointed that I couldnt get a couple of slices of the chocolate layer cake from Metropolitan bakery, but it was near to closing time and that cake never lasts long. Ill come earlier next time. #MustHaveChocolateCake
So much variety of food!!! Great place to walk around and snack. Friendly staff, quality food, fun environment. Cant wait to go back
My favorite terminal in the US!! Philly is sooo lucky to have a place where can you buy fresh meats from the Amish farms and top rate butchers- ALLL KINDS of Amish treats, best bakeries, best fresh fish!!! The Dutch House Amish restaurant is a MUST - like an old woolworth counter top diner - BREAKFAST IS INSANELY YUMMY!
Diverse market! This place is your one stop shop for variety of foods to cook or ready-made e.g. ribs, fresh seafood, pizza, breakfast/lunch sandwiches, donuts, ice cream, Italian gourmet, fresh produce & vegetables to name a few. Great to stob by for breakfast or lunch.
Fun experience. There were amazing market stands within and lots of unique places. I wish I hadn’t just eaten, because it would have been amazing to try lots of the food. It was extremely warm inside and it didn’t seem well ventilated.
It was a wonderful experience. So many great places to buy different types of foods and a lot of amazing places to eat at.
Everybody recommends a visit here and they are all correct. Had a great morning sampling all the differant foods. We were able to enjoy Bloody Marys at the bar and order a beer as we strolled through the market. Only tip I can provide is to go early to avoid the lunch rush. Overall a great experience!
I have been going to Reading Terminal Market since being a kid. I am now 63, and still love it!
If the mayor of Phila. Would get smart and open all busness this market would be one of the best around. Because of Governer Wolf the place is full of empty space and closed places. I would wait to go untill Wolf opens PA or gets defeated.
Interesting place to visit. Great selection of fresh meat, seafood, and ready to eat food. I had an authentic Philly Cheesesteak!
Don’t bother going on a Sunday—all of the Amish stalls and many of the others were closed. Little to no seating inside and the seating monitors were ridiculously strict—TS for you if you happen to have 5 in your party, only 4 people are allowed at a table. Guess you’ll have to tell your 6-year-old that he has to sit by himself! We pulled an unused chair over from a table where ONE person was sitting and got nastiness from the table monitors. Seems like borrowing an unused chair and taking up only 1 table is preferable to splitting our group in half and occupying 2 tables, but hey—there I go using logic and stuff.
Love the selection of shops. Food is good and fresh. Love the Herbiary for herbal healing. Only drawback is prices are high in most shops, but I like to support small businesses .
Everything you could possibly want. Too many choices, really. You can definitely find something good to eat, buy some snacks and stuff to take home. Bakeries, candy, soft pretzels, etc. You can also do some serious shopping in there for meats, fish, and produce. I definite must to check out.
I always love a trip to reading market. They have so many great fresh foods from meat and cheese to produce. Our fave spot to hit is the grain store as the have a hot sauce collection like no other. I do recommend leaving a cooler in the car if you go as we drive from almost by NYC to go here.
I love buying fresh fish and produce from there. I also like eating from a few restaurants. The amish desserts
Packed with really interesting foods and really cool people. Everything we tried was very good. Cant wait to go back and explore again.
Love the terminal for there selection of quality meats. Do my poultry and breakfast meat shopping really some of the best.
The Dutch Eating Place is friendly, their breakfast is delicious and cooked in 5 mins or less and the prices are reasonable. I eat here several times a week. Also the Fat Tomato is my favorite (Italian) sandwich spot, and ofcourse Dinicks for Roast Pork sandwichs.
Great place,so many vendors so many good places to eat and see. If you are in the area and have a chance, go. It has been around for over 100 years.
Nice place, fewer places inside from what I recall, however Covid 19 is playing a factor in in it.Ate @ Molly Malloy outside seating area on the street Food is good, nice selection of cold beer.
How can you not love reading terminal. It’s so diverse and it doesn’t matter what place you go to. Everything is so good. It’s always a treat coming here. Stopping at the bakeries is my favorite.
They need this in all towns! Yeah its crowded and a tad bit over priced but the amount of food that is here is amazing. We had the Deli and it was delicious. I highly recommend this spot if you are visiting.
I love this place!! Many shops and restaurants to choose from. Very helpful people who will guide you around. Stop by the oyster bar!!
I love all the different choices of hot food here:) I can eat out this place everyday
I love Reading Terminal I shop there most of the time I the food very fresh and u can buy most anything you want at the terminal.
Awesome experience. Large amount of food choices and some pretty cool stuff. Awesome coffee and bakery items too. The Gyros were amazing!!!
Loved coming here. This place is a must check out when in Pennsylvania.
This place is amazing with plenty of food options and even if you dont buy anything it is a great place to visit in Philly
