Nice place to sit and eat before a game at the Palestra

I had a very enjoyable 5k race there. There are many sports fields, and it is a nice course, though easy to get lost in, especially for a first timer.

Cleanest place in the entire city of Philadelphia . Home of the original cathedral of college basketball the Palestra. Next to historic Franklin Field, NFL Philadelphia Eagles championship 1960 team beat Vince Lombardis Green Bay Packers. Franklin Roosevelt gave his famous Democratic nomination acceptanceSpeech . Today is UPenns grandution.

On this day it was very beautiful and peaceful. The flag undulated most gracefully in the wind. The sun was perfect.

Recently re-landscaped park in the heart of Penns campus, directly next to Historic Franklin field. Ive enjoyed a number of games of frisbee here.
