The birdhouse walkway is what got me to go here recently. I entered the birdhouse building competition with a friend, something Ive never done before, and it was nice to get together with members of the community to be apart of something. They do fun activities here for kids and there are acres to explore.

Always awesome. The Ogden Nature Center offers great scenery and has a gift shop! They have rescued birds there too.Easy access right if 12th in Ogden. They have a very neat birdhouse collection. Some are for sale and some are not. The birdhouses were hand picked by jurors from their birdhouse competition. This place is great if your looking to do some volunteer work.

Very neat place. Lots to see and do.Probably the best part was seeing the raven trainer show us what ravens can do and telling stories about how smart they are. If you get a chance to see them taking care of those birds, go for it.Birdhouse expo was also very cool to see. The gift shop was amazing as well. Lots of land to explore and enjoy nature.

I love this place! The little trail going in with all the bird houses is really fun. We always enjoy the trails further in as well. Got a lovely swag made out of fresh greens to hang up for Christmas and some yummy homemade cookies. We also love seeing the birds. The trails are easy enough that my 25 month old son can run along them on his own. We very much enjoy spending time at the nature center. You can bring snacks or a little picnic. The gift shop has some drinks for sale. Lots of cute books, toys and pretty things as well. Great place.

It was bigger than I thought it was going to be. Tho, I think we came at a bad time of year. Im sure it is way prettier in the spring. Not many animals out right now. Definitely going to be going again tho. It is really cheap, and the animals are cool to see. We didnt go into the education building either. I loved all of the cool stuff in the gift shop, and all of the really unique bird houses on the way in. They have a bunch of events they hold on their Web site, we may check one of those out. Still, it was a nice, easy, pretty trail to walk. Its crazy how peaceful it is being right on 12th Street.

We may have gone at the wrong time of year but the area is in need of some maintenance. Most importantly, however, the trails seriously need better marking. We spent allot of time trying to figure out which path we were on. In fact!, most of the time we werent sure if we were on a path at all. The scenery was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the simple hike.

We came to take senior pictures. Some old guy with curly hair started yelling and honking telling us we had to stay on the trail (which we were). He said there was a sign that said Do Not Enter which there wasnt. When he was talking about the sign, he was pointing at a handicap sign. It was super funny. Anyways, he was very rude and obviously not very intelligent.

Total bummer. Maybe we just went on a bad day, but the walking trails were not well marked, not well kept, and not interesting. It was just bugs and grass. The bird houses on the way in were really cool, and the birds of prey were interesting, but the trails and treehouse (if you can even really call them that) were just not good.
