This park was beautiful as are all the parks owned by the Mormon church here in Utah. But the same can be said of all the establishments they own. The parks are all well maintained and manicured.

Its so beautiful & peaceful here. Theyve done a lot of work to the roads & made it really welcoming. We love to take the kids and enjoy the sunset!

We live nearby, so we often walk to this park to enjoy a good game of kickball or frisbee in one of the fields, watch the sunset, go sledding or play on the playground and swings. They repaved the road and parking lots last year and added a parking lot on the north end. Its a nice place to go with the family or alone for a moment of peace and reflection.

We came to this park on july 4th to watch the fireworks and it was quite the experience. From Rohmer park you could literally see lots of fireworks. From riverdale to west haven to north ogden the view was incredible. We will go back next year and also we will be going back during the day to check it out

Best sledding hill around. Can get a bit crowded and dangerous when the ice forms and the ramps are built from previous day sledders, but the space is large enough to find a spot to suit your sledding wishes. I might not recommend it for small children or without adult supervision.

Grew up with this place as my backyard about 20 years ago & still enjoy it as much as I did then. Quiet. Hidden. Not usually crowded at all. Huge baseball field thats also fun to ride bikes/sled/ice block down. The park side is closed at the moment - theyre finally repaving the road - but its also quiet & has trees/shade, a huge pavillion with small grills & picnic tables, swings, a kiddie jungle gym thing & a volleyball pit. Bathrooms are usually clean & functioning IF theyre open - which is why Im giving it only 4 stars... Ive encountered people using the outside as a bathroom because the actual bathrooms were locked. But I still love this place - human feces on the ground or not, haha.

Purfect place to take your kids sleading in the winter. And just to go run around and have some fun in the sun in the summer. They have one playground. A baseball field, soccer/lacrosse field. Awesome place to make memories with family and friends. You can reserve the park for functions. And its pretty cheap.

I Love Rohmer Park! I grew up playing soccer here, baseball in the lower bowl of the park, and running up the hills to train for football. Its also a great place to watch the fireworks for the Terrace Days. And in the summer, the hills are great for doing slip and slides. And then the summer, they are also good go ice blocking. I really cannot say enough nice things about this part. I truly do love it. It was a part of my childhood and I still have fond memories of it and visit it whenever Im in Washington Terrace visiting family as an adult.

Ive lived in the area since I was a kid and always loved going to this park. Till a couple months ago at the play ground with my husband and our 1.5 year daughter. Playing with some RC toys and a man that lives next to the park threatened us that he would shoot our toy if we got near his yard. Mind you we were in the park no where near his home. He then walked away and came back with a gun. We left and the cops were called. Turns out it was a BB gun. But it has ruined that park for me and Ill never feel safe my daughter playing there.

I have lived by Rohmer Park for most of my life. It has just about anything you could want in a park: a decent sized play area for kids, a jogging and exercise path (this part hasnt been taken care of as well as Id like), a pavilion with a stage and tables, 3 baseball diamonds, a soccer/lacrosse field, a great sledding hill and so much more. Plus, the park is on top of the Riverdale hill and faces West so it has a great view of some really nice sunsets over the valley. It does get a little busy sometimes but the park is big enough to handle it.

Nice park for everyone, kids, dogs and even supply bags to pick up after your dog. However, the goat head stickers were ridiculously out of control and had to take out of my dogs paws several times. Be careful!

Ka

Ive been going to this park ever since I was a kid. The view is absolutely stunning -- you can see the entire town. The water fountains work. Plenty of trees and lots of space. Probably my favorite park.My only complaint is the local sherrifs that tend to loiter here on their break. No one likes police around; it kills the tranquility that this place has and brings a serious vibe. Theres no need to patrol this place, and I think they do it so they can get away from doing actual work.
