Me and my family have always enjoyed this park. We love coming to feed the ducks. Any time I have ever came here it’s always been clean and there’s always trash cans and the bathrooms are always usable. The only complaint I would have is that people walk their dogs in there and they don’t pick up after their dogs when they poop. I walk my dog there all the time and I always take doggy bags to pick up after her. I wish everyone would do the same, it’s not hard.

A large green park with a pond, small waterfalls, wooden bridges across the stream, and a playground. Plenty of shade trees and gently sloping hills. Bring a blanket and lunch and enjoy a cool summer picnic by the water.

Im a photographer and have used this area for family photos and Halloween pictures. Its a beautiful park with miles of trails both paved and unpaved. Because of the foot traffic the deer, ducks and geese are used to people and will come pretty close to you. I highly recommend this park for photos of both nature and people, but its also a beautiful place to just spend the day.

We love the park! It has a small path around the pond, and a small small creek that feeds in to the pond. Ducks as well.

Wonderful place for a nice relaxing nature walk. Feed the ducks, geese and fish. Lay out a blanket on the lawn area on the south side of the pond for a picnic and listen to the birds and squirrels as you draw in your nature journal. Cool your feet off in the stream. Watch the bright orange dragonflies over the pond and a variety of butterflies among the plant areas.

There was once a lot of koi fish someone placed. Maybe even other fish. Only now there is quite a few turtles in their place. Hows the fishing? Can we catch the turtles as pets? Instead of fish?

The main path is paved and easy for small kids; the side paths are also all o er the place. The park is pretty, lots of virds including some beautiful geese. Lots of acorn and a few apple trees too, if thats your thing. The smell of the public restroom is overwhelming and awful in some parts of the park though. Cottonwoods make this place a green hellscape if you have allergies.

This is a small piece of quiet in the city of Ogden. Parking can sometimes be crowded, depending on the time of day. But the trail around the park is a lovely walk, its pretty much level the entire time.Bathrooms are available, but dont expect anything luxurious. In fact, plan on having bugs for an audience and maybe bring your own soap or hand sanitizer.I found that when it comes to fishing (not that I fish) or just sitting by the water, the pond is shaped in such a way that you see few, if any, people across the water from you. It really creates a nice ambience when youre trying to enjoy the outdoors and detox.

Ive been going to be spawn since I was a kid my mom always brought us here to feed the Ducks and walk the trail and its always been a good time. This Pond is great because the fact that there is a lot of canopy cover. So even if its really hot out youre not stuck in direct sunlight being cook like an egg. Theyre even a few inlets from little strings which is really cool for photo opportunities and dipping your feet in and cooling-off. I recommend.

This is a great park. The grass is incredibly soft and there are large, wide-open spaces for kids and dogs to run. Also, as its name implies, it has a pond filled with geese and ducks and a nicely shaded trail encircling it. My only complaint is that the people that go there dont do a great job of picking up after their dogs or themselves. This is especially true around the picnic tables. But I cant hold that against an otherwise great neighborhood park.

While we were walking a random trail in the back a deer crossed in front of us, it was pretty neat... Then when we turned around on the trail to go back the way we came there were a couple of deer walking parallel to us a few yards away, which was so cool. The first deer crossed in front of us again and one of the second deer ran up to her and started nursing. The juvenile didnt seem young enough to still be nursing, but it was amazing. We visit this park often for wildlife, highly recommend visiting, and if you miss the weekend rush, I bet youre more likely to run into animals aside from the ducks and geese, etc.

The park seems to be very comprehensive with a lot of trails and interesting places. I found the lake to be a lot of fun even though a lot of it was partially frozen there were so many ducks and geese and some were very friendly and were actually ready to eat out of your hand if you had something for them. I hope that its somewhere that I can visit in warmer weather and take advantage of the beauty of the park

Beuss pond is a great place, but its really disturbing that the government agency that developed this habitat is willing to invite hundreds of ducks and geese to nest here and many of them are domesticated (cant leave for food). With the winter months coming on the will not have enough food to survive. That same agency should step up and feed the animals the have invited in. Sure hope they dont just kill them off like the have at other locations.

You can park in a shaded area and walk along a paved Path perfect for biking, running, or just strolling. There are restrooms, a playground nearby, and the pond is home to ducks, seagulls, Canadian geese and others.
