Awesome form of exercise. Trails are well maintained and with a good mix of different skill levels. A couple of bike shops located very close to the trails.
It is a paved bicycle, and walking trail that is as fun filled as exploring as scenic as the majesty of a forest of lovely wildlife as awe inspiring as life can be!(With transportation you can get far,but without the right Light you will get lost,so be safe, and carry your cell phone!)I plan on getting back there, but right now I havent,I do recommend getting there!
One of my favorite MBTThey have easy trails for the beginner to some really technical trails/jumps coming off the side of hills. After a few hours of riding, I recommend you stop at the bike shop across the road. They always have a good selection of Stouts/Porters...and some IPA’s if you’re that way inclined.
When I visit my parents in Homosassa, I make it a point to get in at least one session at OMBAs Santos Trails. There are trails here which will challenge riders of every skill level. From the Dr Ruth and Cow Bone to The John Brown and Miller Mile, theres sure to be a trail for you. But, before you hit the trails, spend some time on the feature-rich skills park section to hone your rusty skills. If youre not ready by the end of that, then test your speed and rhythm on the pump track. Theres plenty of parking and youre welcome to set up your RV/Trailer in the field for the day. When youre done riding, break out the cooler and have lunch at one of the several picnic pavilions - complete with tables. And, no need to tak a dirty bike back home. The trailhead at Santos includes a bike-wash station big enough for the whole family.
Awesome, we walked but the majority of cyclist were very respectful
These trails are some of the best mountain biking trails in the southeast and all of Florida. Trails are well marked and there are sections for riders of all abilities. Great hiking is also available.
Great place for MTB trailsCant wait to go back
Great place for off-road riding!
Its very exciting diferenr trails
Awesome trails!, great jumps! And good friendly people! To ride with!
Wonderful place to hike or bike ride. Lots of diverse kinds of trails and some are for horses too. Also a very good Campground right there.
This is probably the coolest thing Ocala has to offer. I could ride here every day if I had the time. And given the fact that a tax-free state like Florida tends to charge admission to parks, its hard to believe that all this is free.
Ride toward spider kingdom and 75 overpass. Trails are smooth and fast.
Love this park!!! Biking, hiking! Camping staff is awesome!
Wonderful safe Trailhead to go mountain biking.
Rode 27 miles. Did not find the more difficult non-vortex trails. But can say there are many many flow trails. Trail surface may be the best conditioned singletrack in Florida. Fun.
Very nice! Fun and has a section for all skill levels
We didnt get to ride the trails as it rained. The sites are nice, bathrooms very nice. Trains run at night and water connections all had leaking faucets
Today was my first time at this park and I am a relatively ok rider. To start, this park is huge coming from a trail that is 10 minutes from my house that is only 6 miles long. This trail was hard to navigate even using the map. I’ve been to Alaphia mtb park and after comparing both parks I think that the map is more organized at Alaphia mtb park. I recommend getting the all trails app or trail forks prior to your ride. The best part for jumps on this trail is the vortex section. There are also many wooden features and skinny’s which are really fun.
Great area for hiking and biking
Great place and trail for any raiders
The paved Greenway trail is 16 miles of shady riding . It is great to have this trail so close to Ocala.
Many trails should be one way. Very dangerous around blind corners.
Ahhmazing. Trail is great. Campground is perfect.
Great trails!
Best gate ever
Unlimited fun!
Ideally the spot for us
Best trails in the southeast
