I mean... What can you say? Its Jack Londons actual Alaska cabin just sitting there by the water in Oakland. A bit of literary history for all to enjoy!
Really neat little piece of history! If you love Jack London as much as I do it is worth a check out.
So nostalgic. We used to play down here all the time as a child.
Awesome slanted little bar with a cool patio area
The cabin is no big deal. Its a replica. Theres a lot to see and do in the Square, but the cabin is forgettable.
Nice stop to see some history and get a drink or do some shopping
This is a very cool piece of history. Next door is a old bar that you should not miss, the floor is slanted and it looks like an old cabin as well. Love this spot!
Historic fixture that is a must see point. Great a drink and enjoy!
This is an awesome public waterfront area with restaurants, shops, entertainment and more. I walk my dogs here almost daily, everyone is friendly and it is a beautiful area with scenic views.
Cool atmosphere interesting place lot of history
It was ok. Nice area to hang, eat and be a tourist in Oakland, but the cabin was just a walk by site crowded in by modern things.
Whats not to like, outdoor seating and old-timey AF inside
It really goes to show that you don’t need a lot of space to get the creative juices flowing! Jack London’s cabin and white wolf accompanying are great historic relic in the redeveloped Jack London Square.
Cute bit of history .
Funky and fun!
Very interesting place.
Crazy 150 year old redwood cabin in Oakland, Jack London came there, and the bar has a 30 degree slope.
