Nice chill no frills park for families
Childhood favorite.
This is a wonderful gem set within a dense urban neighborhood. Its only a few blocks from BART, and a nice place to relax for a while. There is a small playset for the littlest ones, and a small patch of green lawn in the shade.
Oh I love this little secret park. We go buy food at Addis, down the street & take it here to eat in summer. Quiet, few toddlers and nannies, nice place to chill & eat.
Great place for a great Sunday afternoon
Nice place for toddlers and very young kids. No dogs allowed. The neighbors sometimes have family movie nights with a projector on a sheet when the weather is nice. No water fountain.
Colby park is a small green space in the middle of a traffic circle that used to be a pond. There is a playground with jungle gym and swings for small kids. Also, enough grass to have a picnic or play catch. Always sunny and safe.
The cutest one :) small, sand, castle, grass and shadow in quiet place. Rare in Oakland.
Shady. Grass areas plus sand. One large and one small play structure. One infant swing in the tree. Not crowded at lunchtime but it was a little messy, some trash on the ground.
Its a nice small little park where you can either relax or take your baby/toddler to. The parking can be tricky so be careful.
A nice little neighborhood park
Always a shady spot and lots of sand toys for sharing
A friendly little park, well out of the way of busy streets. Quiet and well suited for younger kids. The neighborhood seems friendly and when we visited there were many sand toys laying about, apparently for anyones use.
Really neat little park with a great vibe and a good play set for younger kids.
Close by grandchildren loves it.
Cats use the sand as their personal toilet.
It doesnt get more. Neighborhoody than this park!
No swings, no dogs, grassy area full of deep gouges and holes so not safe
Watch out for the cat poop in the sand!
Nice small park
Average sunny park in Oakland.
