Very pretty park and a great place to kick back with a couple friends and a couple beers.

For out of towners, theres a $5 parking fee. Thats cool but no booth clerk on a Sunday so, u just have to download an app and pay. Very inconvenient and if u r mobile internet is down, Ull have a $60 ticket on ur windshield.

Nice place to walk to the waterfront. Good place for sports and for meeting friends. Very clean spot. Free for Norwalk residents.

Had to use the shower as are power was down nice and clean was a great feeling after 6 1/2 days

Havent been here since I was a kid. If you arent a resident be prepared to pay $5 for entrance. This is better than the beach which is a total rip off at $35. Nice views of the harbor and river areas but they shouldnt charge for entrance.

I love this park, the only thing that I confused me a little was where to park, since I am not a norwalk resident. I was looking for the signs that say parking non resident (like the one I saw on google pictures), but it is not there anymore I guess.

Reasonably nice park small Marina its also the boat launch my only real gripe is despite having to pay the state for park access they charge for parking which for overnight parking I could get it to keep people from just ditching cars there but why do they charge the boaters who are already paying slip fees and park fees

Love kids park! I can drop my little ones off while my husband and I get a break for a few hours, and its cheaper than my babysitter!It was expensive for single trips and not being a member, but worth the visit at anytime of the year. My grandson goes at least once a week and never tires of the visit. There is story hour and friendly helpful staff. Food is available and places for grandparents to sit.

Park is so beautiful. Right on the water. We had a lacrosse tournament there and it was such a great time. To my surprise, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Local area is a quaint little sea town.

Had a blast at Norwalk Oyster Fest! The super slide was amazing! Great lobster roll (hot and buttered) and paella at the festival too :)

Love any open space on a waterfront. Beautiful views of Norwalk Harbor and the highlight for me is the Norwalk Oyster Festival! Held annually for over 40 years, on the weekend after Labor Day, arts, crafts, food, music great people and more!

Veterans Park of Norwalk CT is a pretty nice place but I could be much, much better. The parking is free for Norwalk residents only. The park itself seems relatively unkempt. The asphalt is full of holes, cracks, uneven areas and missing in some areas. The sidewalk is a beaten, rocky path that is full of litter and junk. There is also, to me, a lack of tall and full trees. There are quite a few but they seem to be nowhere near enough to keep people cool in the summer. There are a couple of picnic table, emphasis on a couple. The city should start taking (better) care of it.

Everything to do. Basketball football baseball softball track Frisbee fishing boating, etc So huge beautifully maintained by Norwalk parks n rec dept. One of the best parks in CT if not the best. Ice hockey in winter. Wow. What have I missed?

I go there almost every year for the annual Oyster Festival. It is amazing!

Launch your boat...or boat your lunch....either way Vets Park is always a nice view of the Sound.

Great place to see and enjoy in different activities.

The oyster festival was awesome in spite of the rain. The evening concert featured Steve Augeri and the Steve Augeri Band. They put on a great show and played for almost 2 hours. The rain stopped just before showtime and the crowd loved it

Spent a lot of time there growing up in the 70s playing baseball and football when I was not fishing! Always had a good time there. My grandfather owned a bar across the street from there called Daves Place and I remember it being next door to Nat Levys Glass. Oh the memories!

Nice park free entrance and parking if you are a Norwalk resident. Right no they have a ice rink under a dome and theres a fee for skate Rental. Also theres the marina there too.

Its a cute park for exercising or just relaxing. If you are not CT resident you must pay a few dollar entry fee (only with car), or you can walk in free of charge. There are some interesting sculptures and a great view of the peninsula. Also there are some fish restaurants nearby.

Great festival. Great music,people and food. Plenty of rides for the kids and kids at heart.

Its a decent park with a older playground and not much else. Walks around here are uninspiring yet the open grass space is great if you like to play sports.

Veterans Memorial park is a beautiful park located on a peninsula that over looks Norwalk Harbor. Good to walk or bike around in.

Pretty views of Norwalk harbor and the Long Island Sound. But all the benches along the waterfront walkway have been washed away and never replaced.
