It’s totally trashed and full of litter everyday. Could be a great park if not for the trash

So the park itself is beautiful they re did it, its just way to crowded sometimes

Its a great place to be

I visited the park on November 5, 2012 shortly after Hurricane Sandy. An outreach van from Bridgeport Mission was serving hot meals to homeless and others. I was pleased to see the park was a safe gathering place for local people. I plan to join the Friends of Ryan Park and go back to help them with wonderful garden plans, many already implemented - fruit trees, a butterfly garden, a pizza garden and herb garden!

You feel a little insecure at this park

Park closed for renovations. They have cleaned up all the trash though.
