Wonderful tasting worth the drive. Lots to choose from hanging out with the distiller and employees. We toured two others (won’t name names) but they were distant second to the product and experience.

Visited Striped Pig awhile back and was surprised at the variety of their products. Sounds crazy but wish I could bring the kids for for educational reasons to show the process in which it is made.

A step off the beaten path but worth the adventure. Stopped in today for a tour with a small group of people. Started the tour off with some taste testing of their own products with some history and background of the distillery. Went to the production area afterwards for more questions and answers. After the tour we went back to the showroom and was able to buy some of the products. Very nice host and tour guide which was part owner.

The Striped Pig Distillery is the place to be. My husband and I were in Charleston celebrating our anniversary. The host and bartender are so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The tour itself is mandated by the state. Everyone who wants to taste any samples must take the tour. The owner was our guide and the tour was pretty awesome. A combination of alcohol knowledge, humor, and being a fun smartbutt as I think the other word may be censored by Google. The tour wa as really good.It was a fun tasting with a straight vodka, a lavender gin, and a spiced rum. The rum was the best of the 3. The gin was lavender based and was far less piney than all other gins I have tried. We got a bottle of the spiced rum to take home.And what drew or eye to it was a tour site had it in as the stripped pig not the striped pig. Mn ae us wonder.

Really friendly people, popped in at a slow time and just chilled out, got to try a bunch of drinks and talk like we worried friends, highly recommend!

We added the Striped Pig as a stop on our Bachelorette Party weekend and it did not disappoint! Johnny, the owner, did our tasting and was the life of the party! I would recommend the Striped Pig to anyone that visits Charleston and you have to try the Waternelon Boozie Juice, its a must!

Tried to check out this place but it wasnt open at noon even though the website said they open at noon. We waited 15 minutes, knocked on the door and called 3 time . No answer and no open door.

Spent 45 minutes finding this place. When we arrived on Saturday at 2 found a note on the door saying closed for a private event. Would of been nice to know on the website it wasnt open. Striped Pig fail

Had a great time drinking here. Barroom and distillery tour were fun and informative, and the biggest and the best part is the drinks were great too. Worth a stop off if you are an avid fan of small distilleries and are visiting the area.

I had a wonderful time at the tasting! The spirits were delicious! Johnny is a gracious and knowledgeable host! The Gin and Spiced Rum were my favorites, but all of the spirits were delicous! A great value and a true hidden gem! I left with a bottle of Gin and a cocktail recipe. Southern hospitality in its truest form!

The whole experience was very fun and relaxing. The tour guide/head distiller was extremely friendly and absolutely hilarious. The taste testing was really laid back and fun. The quality of the products being made are second to none (which is why me and my wife drove around to many liquor stores just to buy a bottle haha). Enjoyed an awesome, intimate liquor tasting and tour of the distillery yesterday (7/10/15). I really love the small batch, handcrafted approach using locally sourced ingredients; it definitely shines through in the finished product. I highly recommend the spiced rum!
