Quarterman Park or the duck pond at Park circle as weve always referred to it was beautiful! There were nice cool shady places to sit and relax and watch the ducks even on a hundred degree day. The gardener who is looking after the plants is doing an excellent job from the wild flowers to the elephant ears everything was gorgeous. I enjoyed walking around the perimeter of the lake and then relaxing in the shade.

Its a beautiful little Park. Youll come across little ducks Turtles white geese regular geese. The only complaint that I have is the edible food dispenser is completely empty. Theres two of them located but they are completely up to the last time I was there. But this would quarter it would dispense a handful of food for the animals. Very nice walk around the little Lake. Lots of shade. In a very nice variety of flowers. Would like a nice walk this is a great place to go

Quarterman Park is an awesome park located in the heart of North Charleston. It is beautiful with a pond that is always filled with ducks and even has a fountain. It is quiet and has plenty of room to stretch and run around. I have been coming to this park for years and it has always been a cool place.

I work near the park and I am a Pokemon GO player. This park would be perfect to go for a walk at lunchtime and get in some Pokemon playing. However, there is way too much poop on the walkway. Its hard to really enjoy the walk because you have to be so focused on every step you take to ensure you dont step in anything. I would gladly give it 5 stars if it was cleaned. I would not bring my kids here.

Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. There is something I must say: The feeders are there for a reason. I ran into a lady feeding the ducks Lucky Charms because her Park Circle Facebook page said it was ok because the ducks were hungry. Your Facebook PHD is not valid. Bread and other things out of your household will hurt the ducks. Look up angel wing on ducks/geese. They will be grounded and cant fly due to this.

Would have given it 5 stars, but they dont have a restroom there which dramatically cut our visit short... The turtles come paddling up from all over the pond to within a foot of you for the food pellets which can be purchased from a dispenser for 25c. I preffer to feed the turtles because I used to have some as a kid. It was impressive, amusing and nostalgic... Make sure you and yiur children hit the restroom before you get there though bc there are no bathrooms.

Being in North Charleston, especially off of Spruill Ave, the ducks are way too aggressive. I ran out of bread and when I walked back to my car, I had a few members of The Mighty Ducks sizing me up. I thought we were gonna squabble in the parking lot but luckily a passerby saw what was going and threw some Whole Wheat about 20 feet away so I could make my escape. I aint going back.
