A lot of people go here depending on the time. Baseball on one side and soccer in the middle of an oval. Needs to be fixed up a bit and unfortunately only a few visitors/park goers consciously keep this area clean. Only takes a few seconds to throw water bottles in the recycling bin provided. This is a good place to destress.

Theres a soccer field with synthetic grass, there is playground for the children, baseball field, basketball court, volleyball court, grass field space...really nice

The park is very well maintained. Defenitely checkout the boardwalk while you are there. There are multiple courts here for tennis, basket ball, base ball etc.

It was my first time visiting this park. I took my son there for baseball practice and man, the baseball field is so nice. Clean, modern, with plenty of space for all the parents present to sit comfortably and respectful of social distancing. There were other sports and recreational facilities around the park too. And everyone looked like they were having a good, relaxing time.

Has a work out section along the river, also has a soccer field and playground. There is a small parking area for anyone going. Good view of Harrison side with a lot of history. One of the factories there help put together the Statue of Liberty

Always a good time even with pandemic. Great family park for basketball, soccer or volleyball. Great for jus a walk or run around track too.

Playground is more younger kids but the park in general is great

Riverbank park is located on market Street in ironbound Newark the park isn’t very big but it’s very big you can see downtown Newark and the Passaic River from this beautiful park I love going into ironbound not only for the delicious food but also the amazing parks like riverbank park and Independence Park just to name a few

A beautiful park fronting the Passiac River. Nice waking and biking trails. Kayaking also possible.

Beautiful park... modern playground with running sprinklers for the children in the summer... Tennis and basketball courts.. Running track around soccer field.. baseball field with a little stadium... Trails by river with work out stations and mile markers...... Update... Fire destroyed the building house the pump for the sprinkler in the playground.... Hope it can be fixed soon.

This small river front park has 10 times the grandeur of the Himalayas & the Great Barrier Reef combined. It’s construction was reportedly financed by the clandestine sale of two aircraft carriers to an unnamed landlocked nation.

A good place for soccer or playing at the playground. Not much other sports though, not really big for jogging.

This park is located on both market street and raymond Blvd. In the summer its equipped with a sprinkler system that barely works on the raymond Blvd side. There are baseball fields 2 to be exact. A soccer field a track a few tennis courts workout equipment horizon walking trail a crossfit park 4 different playgrounds. Unfortunately drug addicts pollute the park with paraphernalia. It has great potential just bad area.

Great but short bike trail. Large baseball and dog park. Across the street is a bigger park with picnic areas and sport areas like basketball. A little patch of forest in a heavily urbanized area

Its actually a very nice clean park. Even though its located in Newark NJ (murder capital of the world...LOL) its actually a pretty safe park as well as Harris Riverfront Park right across the street.

Nice park but does not have a water system like other posts say. There are no working water fountains or sprinklers. Not good for humid days like weve had.

The Park is good, a lot of fun.... But they need to replace those yellow lights with bright white, and turn on the basketball court/tennis court lights at dawn... Kids were there playing in the dark...Now its even worst, tennis and basketball courts closed...

Riverbank park was huge and so relaxing to play around. So many games, sports and more.

Its a nice small park close to downtown have your tennis court, track and feild and soccor play area and i think a baseball site but yeah great park to bring the family or come alone and work out or train

Riverbank Park is very beautiful fronting the Passaic River. I walked my dog around here and I saw different areas for sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, and tennis courts. There is also a playground and fieldhouses for children. This place is totally awesome and a must visit place in Newark.

Is a great but there is people who from Hawkins street and the project thats near to Riverfront that always looking for trouble when the police is not around

Cant believe they took down both basketball and tennis courts and start working on the baseball court first. Its summer and they do this now. Why take down basketball and tennis courts if they not going to fix it right away. Disgrace. Also they could make some space for a dog area. Thank you

Clean, most of it, its starting to be filled with writing and graffiti. A nice open space to spend time outside in Newark. The playgrounds can be tricky if you have smaller children. Starting to see dog pooped at times when when there are receptacles and plastic bags provided by the park to pick them up and toss them.

Bring my dog here at times.. place is clean at times but there’s lots of drug baggies and paraphernalia on the ground.. place needs to be monitored and cleaned up more frequently
