Nice walkways with flowers, and some occasional trees. Also a designated display of hydrangea varieties planted along a seperate path area. However, plants not well labeled. Very few species identified.

This place has several different zones to perause ranging from swamp lands to gardens. The plants are labeled and there are nice paths to walk on. Most of the buildings were closed when I went in the afternoon. The gardens are really close to the UD creamery which is nice.

If you have a novice gardner or young future botanist this is a great place to bring them to help spark their curiosity. The garden is well maintained and conveniently located. Also, great views of the fire works on the 4th

The Lepidoptera Trail is worth the visit. Everything else seems to be off limits or not developed. The trail has nicely arranged native plants and very well marked host plants for several varieties of caterpillars of moth/butterfly.Unfortunately, there were only bees when we went, but the plants were there and really well marked. Placards were informative.I personally loved the amount and variety if milkweed, though very few signs of Monarchs existed.Anyway, beautiful, native, pollinator garden. We spent about 45 minutes here and it is right next to UD Creamery so a scoop of ice cream on the way out sweetens the deal.Nice little hour long outing for families and maybe two hours for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

I went during the yearly plant sale. There was a lot of variety and I picked up many peppers types that I had never heard of. The community makes an effort to have each year be special. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell that these people love plants.
