A nice small county park with paved walkways around tge perimeter. One paved path leads to a paved trail into The White Clay Creek State Park, while a stone and dirt path at the opposite side leads to the Middle Run Wildlife Reserve. Open dawn to dusk. Free parking.

It’s a nice place to take a walk, 5k run, (pavement ) walk the dog, play volleyball and basketball as well. Usually it’s crowded in the afternoon&evening. Be ready wear your PPE when you go there.

Nice local park with walking path, picnic area and childrens play area. Nice open spaces for kite flying on a windy day. In addition to Canada Geese, Ive seen Egrets and a Blue Heron in the ponds.

Large park with 3 full size basketball courts playground with many swings slides and other activities. They also have some tennis courts and grills. Overall a very clean park.

Love this park! Its open, clean, and has a nice walking track (for me & my dog).

It is a great park but definitely older. So some of the play structures require adult help, which was fine.

Walking path is a bit confusing and cramped but other amenities like playground, tennis courts, and parcourse equipment are great. Solid place for Pokémon Go in Newark but it can get redundant after an hour.

Theres a great biking trail there and creekside Is my favorite right now.

A very spacious park with a lot of activity options, but for some reason, yellow jackets swarm this place making some activities like picnics pretty unpleasant.

As expected it is great. Courts are fresh and the air is clear. Much better than a polluted river or trash filled swamp.

Paper Mill Park is a beautiful park with free parking. Theres a walking track that goes all the way around the park. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground and two pavilions. Theres plenty of open space to play. It does get a little crowded on some evenings due to youth soccer games. Paper Mill Park also has access to mountain biking and hiking trails in Middle Run Valley Nature Area.

I like this park. Nice and large, great walking path with markers for distance and nice scenery. Ive been here for parties, soccer, to walk or play with my kids. Overall, seems to have it all for a decent park!

Awesome bike trails, and lots of options! Trails are well maintained and also offer ramps of all kinds and challenging alternate paths.. Never too crowded, except on Saturdays (thats a given). Very Active park. Beautiful area, easy to get to, bonus: breakfast food trucks on Saturday mornings!

Community park with lots of amenities. Tennis courts, playground, picnic pavilions, walking paths, soccer fields, exercise classes, and toilets (flush and portalets). This is a well used park. The county does a good job of maintaining it.

Great place to walk, but the trail needs work on the side next to polly drummond road. It ices up in the winter and nobody treats it.

My sister rented a pavillion for our moms birthday. Everything was clean including grills and bathrooms.

This park offers many amazing things to do. There are pavilions with picnic tables that you can reserve. Theres a really great childrens area with swings & other playground equipment with a soft flooring to soften falls just a bit. The playground is near to the pavilions. There are paved paths around the entire park with a couple of ponds that you can fish out of. On the paths there are stops every so many steps that a person can do posted exercises. There are also a few tennis & basketball courts to play tennis or basketball. There is land with nets/fencing that people can play baseball/softball & soccer. As you can see there are lots of things to do while at the park. People can see a lot of people, dogs, & children around the park. Its a beautiful park as well.

Love this park. Nice walking trails. Great playground equipment (toddler and big kid area). A peanut shaped pond with bass and sunnies. Basketball courts. Open fields. A backstop and two picnic areas. A wonderful place to spend some time outside with great people.

This park is just OK when compared to Glasgow Park in Bear. The paved trail is only .6 miles long, which for me is a bummer since I dont like running in circles over and over. It gets boring. I prefer a longer loop like the 2.6 mile loop at Glasgow Park. But, on the positive side, the bathroom facilities are good.

Great park. It has so much to do for everyone. Theres a walking/running/biking path around the entire park for everyone to use. Theres a great playground for kids. Fields for playing soccer for people of all ages. Basketball courts and tennis courts. Theres even two separate pavilions you can rent to use for parties located next to the playground.

Love this park, good trail to walk

The park is rather spacious with various activity areas and ample parking. Beware of the geese. The Canadian geese land and takeoff but stay to themselves for the most part especially with multiple people around. Just dont approach or startle the geese if they have little ones around. During the winter you should be free of that aspect of worrying. The activity areas include tennis courts, a pull-up bar station, a playground, and a running/walking circuit. Some park visitors bring their dogs, which must and are kept on leashes close to their owners sides. The dogs that are in the park are rather well behaved.

Very nice park for a party

This is a pocket park but has a lot packed into a small space. Jogging, excercise, biking circuit around the outside which joins to a much bigger biking circuit off the property. A popular playground, tennis courts and basket ball courts. Soccer and baseball fields. A great community resource. There are really nice bathrooms but they only seem to open them for special events, otherwise its a nasty porta potty.

Wonderful walking track, and great playground. I needed a longer, but flatter, surface to walk on while I was pregnant and this was perfect. They also have great areas for birthday parties and picnics.

Nice medium sized park with a walking path around the perimeter. Several sports fields and a clean childrens playground on the backend. Also several pavilions that I am sure can be rented. Portapotties and plenty of parking. Cant miss this park as it is right on the corner of an active intersection.

Free parking to gain access to white clay trails. Normally its $4 for in state, $8 for out of state residents. This is a nice area with a nice playground, fields, walking paths and bike trails.

Big and clean park near Route 72 and Paper Mill Road in Newark. It is a great place to have a picnic, play basketball, walk around the trails, or just relax near the trees and tables.
