We attend the traditional service anytime we are in town and it is a welcoming, worshipful experience every time. No over the top forcing of beliefs, just a simple offering of the Living Gods word and how it applies to todays life. Always a wonderful experience.

Really like the pastor and the service.

A fantastic and welcoming place. The overall feel is comfortable and casual; though we saw folks dressed up too, if thats your preference. The band was really tight and well ehearsed. The message was on point and provoked lots to think about without anybody shouting at us. We felt very comfortable leaving our 19 month old grandson in the nursery and he really enjoyed himself the whole time we were in church. I think if my family lived in this area we would be very comfortable making this church our home.

We were down from Raleigh and we were warmly welcomed into Bible Study Fellowship by the guys on Monday evening. Its such a blessing to be in the company of fellow Christ - followers maturing in their faith and glorifying God on a week day. Praise God!

Pastor Terry is a great speaker. He brings the Bible passages to life so they are easily understood. He interjects a lot of humor as well. I attend the 8.30 service and everyone is friendly and welcoming, especially when considering that it is a large church. The choir and orchestra are terrific.Dress is jeans casual up to Sunday best. However you are comfortable will work.FYI, the pastor wears jeans.The coffee in the lobby area is good too

Just a wonderful church. We visited while we were on vacation - Excellent preaching, and great worship. We would gladly return, and hope God blesses this church and ministry mightily!

Me and my wife come to Ocean Veiw every time that we come to the beach. The services are great. The BIBLE is preached at every service . The Christmas Eve service was wonderful today!

Love this house of worship. All generations coming together with a heart for missions. Pastor Terry is fantastic and the worship time is like no other. When we are in Myrtle Beach, this is always a priority on Sunday morning!

They are wonderful people. They helped me out so much when I was in need. This is a wonderful place to attend services.

My daughter and I visited with a friend during our last stay at the beach. Always like to have an opportunity to attend a good worship service even on vacation. Just the atmosphere we were looking for...warm and welcoming, anointed singing/music, and most importantly, good bible teaching/preaching from the Word of God.

Today Im very sad that I planned my families entire day around the 11:30 service. The first thing I did this morning was check the website to make sure there were no changes in the services. The website said Dec 31st 11:30 service. I understand your congregation may know the changes. But for the people who visit when in town...we wouldnt know the changes. I couldve easily made the 9 or 10. Instead of eating out we couldve just eaten at the hotel and made it to the service. We love visiting the church when in town. The pastor gives an amazing word and the praise and worship is also great. But in the future please update your homepage to reflect the times that are available for service. Not only was I turned away at the door but many more that assumed the website was correct. Happy New Years....Thanks,

We’ve traveled full time for 5 years. Nearly every Sunday, we attend a local church. While visiting different churches, we began to dream about the church we would eventually settle into. And this church is the answer to our prayers and has everything we want in a vibrant Church body!

Also the entire staff is great and everyone is friendly. We are also lucky to have such amazing talent in tagena church Gary and others. I have been attending OVBC for over a year now and from the first day I arrived everyone has been very welcoming. After attending for about a month we joined a Sunday School group and we have met a lot of kind people that want to follow the word of God.

Visiting from Ohio, visited your church August 6th. Wow, we appreciated your service! The music was so nourishing, great blend of hymns and contemporary music for all ages and musicians so talented! Pastor so clearly reminded us of what communion is all about and the dialogue about the Nicaragua missions trip encouraged our hearts! We are in ministry ourselves and fully appreciate what goes into a single service to minister to others and provide the atmosphere where Gods Spirit can work. Thank you for your faithfulness! Very nice staff.

I have found this church to be very warm and friendly. The pastors sermons have given a fresh prospective on biblical truths. The praise and worship team is outstanding.

New Years Eve am service. We were visiting from Oklahoma and felt welcomed. The service was well planned and the sermon excellent.

Theres no other churches that I know of that has an interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing people. I love it and really do enjoy going its a great place to meet people and learn GODS WORD.

Worship music was exceptional! However I walked in, worshipped, and left without any personal engagement. And yes I tried.

Ive worshipped at Ocean View several times while visiting Myrtle Beach in December, and Im always inspired by everything, especially the refreshing way the word and song are administered!

We (wife and 4 children) were on vacation staying at a wonderdful conodo on the beach and i lost my phone witch was also my wallet. I stopped by this church just to see if they would buy us a frozen pizza for lunch. She was rude. Didnt even let me or my kids inside the building and sent us on our way... I believe and i quote...Matthew 25:35 ESVFor I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed meThis church did no such thing and i am very dissappointed the way i was treated
