The Elvis Christmas Show done by Alex Michelle was amazing. I always put down seeing an impersonator because being my age of 23 I never got to see the Real Deal. I thought nothing could compare. But I was so mistaken. I felt so pleased with the show. It was great price, nice staff, and all around great experience. I was just on vacation in Myrtle Beach. But I will be back and bring all my family that raised me to love Elvis. Amazing Job Alex.
Went to see the Motown show, mixed with some holiday music, yesterday evening. The show was outstanding, and the venue was cozy. They did a good job spacing the tables for COVID, and theres not a bad seat in the house. Definitely recommend and would return for other shows!
The singers were great! However, the establishment was not. We purchased our tickets online as the brochure/flyer our hotel gave us said to do. The flyer also had a coupon code on there. Purchased tickets and got confirmation of our tickets and completed transaction. Upon arrival to the establishment which i was expecting a big theater(it definitely was not ) but it was cozy...anyway when we got there we were told we still had a balance for our tickets and that the coupon was not valid for vip tickets. If that was the case then it should have never accepted the code online. That was really sketchy and bad business in my opinion. Also since the pandemic I became an avid card swiper and I dont carry cash. When I purchased water I had to pay an additional $3 for using my card! I have square registers for my business and there is only a 1% transaction fee I have NEVER charged a $3 for someone to use a card. This whole experience was horrible. Thank goodness the singers were good. Also seats were not spaced adequately as other establishments Ive been to here during this pandemic. No one was 6feet apart.
Alex Mitchell as Elvis Live show was absolutely fabulous!! His voice is so amazing and his performance was awesome. Really looking forward to the upcoming gospel shows with Alex as well. Alex is an extremely talented young man who brings such joy when he performs!!Thank you for such a beautiful evening of Elvis.
Michele did a great show. He really seemed concerned with the time. He was constantly checking his watch. The GTS theater was difficult to find. There wasnt any clear signs to locate it. You had to wear a mask during the show.I used Google Maps which was just updated. There were workers in the parking lot that had no idea where the GTS theater is. My GPS took me to the correct location. We were looking for a building that looked something like a theater, not a hole in wall.My remark about wearing mask was a positive remark. After reading many reviews there is a lot of people that wont go to a place that doesnt require them.
Best show in town! Fun even with Covid !Two hour long show with a 15 min intermission. Casual atmosphere. Very affordable concessions.Wear your dancing shoes because it is hard to stay seated.
Great shows and Beth and her family are the best. We visited and enjoyed the Motown Tribute and also the Elvis show.
Great Motown tribute show. Small venue but performers were great. Had a snack bar..entertaining 2 hour show.
Attended the Elvis tribute featuring Alex Mitchell. Great voice, great personality. Definitely sounded like Elvis.
Attended the show tonight for tge first time. It was truly awesome and I look forward to coming back soon.
Intimate lounge setting.Good entertainment.Snacks and drinks are overpriced.
Magic man mike .....entertaining but humor hard. To follow sometimes..
Michael did an outstanding job keeping it clean for the kids and entertaining the adults.
Rainy night mid-November, so only about 25-30 people. Very intimate theatre, great seat. Had the best time! Performers were great, some comedy, great voices, wonderful memories. Will be back!
Motown part was good however the Christmas part needs some work.
Motown performance was nice, wonderful staff and entertainers.
Motown revue was awesome loved it . Small venue very very pleased would go again.
AWESOME MOTOWN ENTERTAINMENT.THE TICKET COST WAS VERY REASONABLE FOR A QUALITY PERFORMANCE.A VERY TALENTED GROUP OF PERFORMERS.THIS IS MYRTLE BEACHS BEST KEPT SECRET. WAY BETTER THAN OTHER PLACES WE HAVE GONE FOR ENTERTAINMENT AT A HALF TO A THIRD OF THE TICKET PRICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOTOWN & THE GTS THEATER.
It was ok.... The servers behind the bar were EXTREMELY friendly. They were there best part of the experience. The show was semi-boring.
Awful, awful management!!! Never go here! The owner is very mean! The venue is only little bitty tables and it only holds MAYBE 20 ppl. It was $3 for a bottle of water and everything was expensive. WAY WAY WAY overpriced. U will be disappointed.
The Motown show exceeded our expectations! We were even out of our seat dancing. Great show!
Great show was very happy I attended
Kind of difficult to find address. Good atmosphere. Goodshow
Absolutely outstanding
Singers were good; theatre needs a big makeover. Using snackbar chairs for tables is kind of ridiculous.
It was a good show. The singers were pretty good. The performers were really entertaining; very engaged with the crowd and ventured through the crowd from time to time. They also allowed members of the crowd to partake in a song act which was very cool. They took pictures and danced with the crowd. The show last about 2hrs with 1 brief intermission. However, there were a few knocks that took away from the show: Cast had volume issues when explaining parts of scenes, some of the singing faded in and out, speaker and mic malfunctions. The venue was a bit small and goodwill-like decor. For almost $40 a person, I expected more. Overall, it was a good showing. Also, its geared toward an older generation/ old soul class so if youre not a true Motown fan, keep away.
Great people, talent and cozy venue.
Small, quaint venue and the show was terrific.
Great atmosphere good vibes and music
It was a great show! Highly recommend!
Thank you great show and a gift
Visited twice so far to attend the Motown review show and loved it.very clean and super nice people...I will highly recommend this place!!
The place was a nice, cozy setting. The performance was excellent, each performer seemed as if they truly enjoyed their job. They were excellent in appearance, style and professionalism.
Small venue. Went to the Motown Tribute which was terrific. Acoustics needs to be better. Interior design needs updated.
We saw a Motown tribute show. It was absolutely fabulous. The theatre even though it was small, had a great lay out. Where ever you sit, you will have a clear view of the stage. The sound was spot on and so was the lighting. Great theatre. If your ever have the chance to go to a show, you need to go.
The show was two stars AT BEST, but it was overshadowed by the owner who was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She treated my mom with such little respect that we felt like getting up and leaving. The owners name was Elizabeth, so watch out for her, because she’ll treat you like dirt. The only bright spot of the show was Michael Barefoot, who was the only person I enjoyed in the whole show. I feel sorry for here employees, definitely not worth a cent.
Saw Elvis Tribute Artist Alex Mitchell give a wonderful performance of Elviss music at the GTS Theatre 7/25/19. Full house and enjoyed it immensely. The backup music was beautiful. We enjoyed the popcorn and candy. Cozy theatre. My first time there, but wont be my last. Love Alex. His interaction with the audience was nice. Ann Britt Smith
This may be a small theater but some powerhouse voices come out of this place. Its truly a must see performance. Great for all ages. I had a family of 8 ranging from 2 to 50 and we all enjoyed ourselves.
We went to the Elvis show. It was to start at 7 and be over at 8:30. We were told to arrive by 6:20, which we did. Apparently the performers boots were not there. So the audience had to wait. And wait. And wait. The show finally started around 8:10. We had been sitting there waiting for almost 2 hours. It was Valentines day, we had reservations for a great restaurant after the show, but of course missed that. They apologized a couple of times but that was all. No offers of a refund, no discounted tickets to future shows, nothing.I will say that the performer, Alex, was good, but not good enough to make up for the unbearably long wait. Very unprofessional not to offer SOMETHING to the customers GTS Theater.
I was concerned when I first walked in but it was a great show! Seats were really uncomfortable but again, the show was awesome.
Great place. Music was awesome. Best friendly Good time.
I had an Awesome time for my Birthday being from the Motown it was incredible singing along with the songs thinking about what you were doing when this somg came out. Then at the end they came down from the stage and we got a chance to talk and they gave hugs...but I didnt get my birthday...So I will be back and I want to hear: Youre all I need to get by..Motown GirlPJ
This was the best little theater I have been too. When I booked i was told the show was fully sold and I would have to sit in the back row I was fine with that but when I got there they up graded us to v.i.p we sat in the front row seats 1 and 2 in a fully sold out show we were so impressed. Music performance was fantastic and they are all just super sweet and friendly cant wait to go back and get my groove on
Performances were great
Have traveled from NC several times to specifically see Alex Mitchell for Elvis live. I would recommend this show for anyone. Alex is a great performer and enteracts with his audience. He is always worth the trip. The GTS theater accommodates a smaller setting, which allows the feeling of a personal concert. Our girl group doesnt come to myrtle beach without visiting the GTS theater and Alex Mitchell.
Great music and entertainment. Performers did an amazing job. Wardrobe changes were awesome. Performers are great entertainers and did a great job including the audience!! Highly recommend!??
Very small venue. Chairs are not comfortable and are positioned in one level which could be an issue for viewing the stage. For what it was, I think the ticket prices are high. They search your bags upon arrival (some more thoroughly than others). Small food stand available with soft drinks and popcorn. That being said, the performers were awesome! Loved the Motown show.
It was awesome. Great music. Talented performers.
The ELVIS LIVE show is awesome! Alex Mitchell is amazing! I love visiting the GTS Theater to watch Alex perform. I highly recommend this show
Attended last nights Elvis show and it was a fantastic one man show. As always things started a little slow but ended up on a super high note. The 1:45 two part show was well worth the cost for the 4 of us. One item we really liked just before the Trilogy they turned up the lights and asked the Veterans to stand...we were an older crowed but so few of us were left to stand. I thank them so much for that. Check their schedule as they have other shows coming and look for us to also be there. !
Elvis show was great! Also saw Motown review and it was such fun!
Love love loved it! The best show at myrtle beach!
Myrtle Beach residents and visitors, you dont want to miss this show!! Amazing entertainment with excellent singers that really demonstrate the songs of Motown with the utmost respect and honor! They dont just sing, they offer a little comedic flair and audience participation to the show!! Loved it!!!
Great Motown show
It was an awesome experience. The Motown Christmas Tribute was spectacular.
What a great way to celebrate my birthday. Very very memorable. Thanks GTS. It was a great SHOW. The singing was amazing.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Their concession prices are better than some gas stations. I have an odd medical situation and they did their best to accommodate me while still following their posted rules.
We had a wonderful time at the Motown Show. Theater very intimate. Not two large which makes the show have more audience participation and a very friendly atomosphere.
24th Anniversary for my husband and I . We are having a blast. The performers are amazing. We are so Blessed by God to be here at the show. Remininishing the late 50s is great.
The Mowtown Review was fun. Cant wait to return. A must do in Myrtle Beach.
Great time VIP seats!!
Fantastic singers and a wonderful time was had by my husband and I.
Michael Bairefoot puts on an excellent show. Very entertaining and fun. Nice small venue, up close and personal.
Loved the Motown show. Great job! $2 beer or wine. Staff was great. Small venue. Go if you love Motown! Pleasantly Surprised!
It’s a small setting. There’s no bad seats in the house. We saw Michael Bairefoot. He did cheesy magic tricks and jokes. But it was very appropriate for the family. There was a lot of audience interaction. We enjoyed ourselves and we’re glad we went.
GTS is a small theater but large on entertainment!! A diamond in the rough in Myrtle Beach in my humble opinion.
We had such a good time. Even my 12 and 15 year old daughters had fun.
Not Worth the MoneyWe attended the Motown show on the evening of April 19, 2019. The introduction video at the beginning of the show was not only of poor quality and hard to hear but also in an uncomfortable position to view, off to the side of the stage. Show didn’t get started till 7:15 and then only had 4 performers, instead of the 6 to 8 as advertised. At 7:45 an additional female singer introduced herself, so then there were 5.Singers voices we ok but sometimes it seemed as if the piped in background music was overpowering the singers mics. There were also awkward pauses between songs. Chairs are uncomfortable and way too close together. Let’s face it, if your in an age group that loves Motown music, most likely your not of petite size, which is what the chairs are set up for. By removing 1 chair from each row and spacing chairs just 1 inch apart would be a great improvement.Although there are no other music shows along the grand strand that focus on Motown music, there are several music shows where your money can be better spent with better talent and MUCH more professionalism. As a local resident I would not recommend this show for the price.
Very talented performers and super friendly. I really enjoyed myself. Myrtle Beach hotels should advertise this show.
The theater isnt much to look at, but the Motown show was really good. The entertainers were great, and we really liked how they interacted with the crowd. Definitely worth going to see if in Myrtle Beach.
Great show. Interaction with the audience was good also. Enjoyed meeting the performers after the show.
Had a lot of fun. Extremely loud for the small space. Some singers were way off key and ruined good songs. I would have much preferred the men singing over the women they had. I highly recommend a different location. It reminds me of a bar with dinner chairs as your seats. Very low class.
We ordered tickets online and when we got there the doors are closed and there is no show.
Motown performance was great. Audience loved them. Singing from time I walked in the door. Great songs!
Absolutely great entertainment,, would definitely go again
Seen Mike Blairefoot. Felt like a little kids birthday party magic tricks. Dont waste your time with this show. Small venue no real concessions.Edit to reponse. I most certainly was at that show but thank you for the last ditch effort to discount my opinion. Its only my opinion sorry you took it so personal.
Really enjoyed the Motown review show. Great fun, fabulous music, and the singers were excellent.
The BEST SHOW ON THE STRAND AT ANY PRICE. THE PROFORMERS WERE ALL TOP NOTCH AND SHOULD BE IN A MUCH LARGER VENUE. THANKS FOR A GREAT TIME. MARTY(not joe) from NEW JERSEY.
Enjoyed the show. Awesome talented singers. Do wish they kept it more up beat in the second half. But definitely would recommend.
The show was absolutely amazing!
Loved the Motown tribute show! However, the space is very small and they charge $6 for a small plastic souvenir cup with a free can of soda. My husband said he wouldnt pay for VIP seats again because Ian is such a small space that it wasnt necessary.
Small venue, but I liked the intimacy of it. The Motown show was great. Terrific talented cast!
Great talent and good show.
Great family show! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.
Great show! Seats little tight. Sound system needs upgrade. But great show
My friend & I both loved the show. It was up close & personal in that the venue is small, with the feeling of being back in the day. The singers were spot on. We sang along, got up & danced, & had a blast. I was 10 yrs old again, a white kid in a small, rural town in western PA, listening to CKLW out of Detroit. Growing up with Motown music was an integral part of my youth. Thanks for the fun memories, GTS.
The theater is adequate. Sound system distorts so sometimes it is hard to understand spoken lines. We went to the Motown show. It was outstanding! The 4 men and 3 women are individually very talented and together they are incredible. Great show!
