Myrtle Beach Ripley Believe it or not was another great thing to do near me hear at the beach shopping and amusement area at Myrtle Beach. I was told that if I eat the famous for long here across the street with a women I met at the beach i would get married to her. Lol.Very nice display of history and wax sculptures. The price was fair for this and I would recommend to just check it out for the experience and history.
Little something for everyone who is into the odd, fascinating, or weird. Not a huge museum but worth the time to explore. I recommend looking at everything to not only get tour moneys worth but also to possibly learn something new. Was a bit sad to see some of the Egyptian artifacts moved but was happy to see them still on display near the end. Definitely wouldnt mind seeing the Egyptain portion renovated! Overall, it is always a nice treat to check out.
We had a great time here. This is our 3rd ripleys visited in the states. However it is also the worst. There are some missing and/or destroyed items within the museum. This is evident before you even step foot inside with the broken faucet. It still had nice exhibit and we enjoyed it. Mr. Ripley would be rolling in the grave if he knew the state of some exhibits. Like another said, the second floor is bouncy in one area, definitely feels like its going to collapse.
Definitely a cool place to check out! There’s lots of cool things to see inside along with small cool interactive things. Theres also an arcade at the end. I enjoyed this Ripley’s location. They also give an awesome military discount. I definitely recommend checking this out if you visit Myrtle Beach.
Pretty cool place. Both my son enjoyed the Dancing area at the end more than anything. But its interesting to see some of the stuff there.
Wow️This place totally rocks️They have all sorts of treasures in there to be seen and discovered, especially those cool African fertility statues️Wow️ Amazing️I had a really cool time, too️Thanks, guys️And, oh my God️They have an arcade room on the side of the building, too️

We Love MB.... Driving back home now.... We were there 11 days, sad to go..... We come down 2 or 3 times a year..... Keep up the Good Work.!!!!! Cannot get to all my photos.
We had so much fun looking at all the weird stuff and figuring our the puzzles. Definitely worth the money.
So cool!!! I recommend it for everyone. Has something for everyone. My son collects the books and it was cool to see things he read about.
Great place to go with friends, family or by yourself. The figures in their were amazing and made you really question if their were real or not. Once you get to the end you can solve a riddle on how to open a gate or use you feet to tap little monsters on a screen on the floor. Their is also a arcade once you leave the room with the games and riddles.
My husband, grandsons and I had a ball, cant wait to come back
This place is so cool. Clean, quiet, and the overall experience is great. Will Definitely come back next time in in Myrtle Beach
Fun experience. Visited aquarium and odditorium in same day. Odditorium was second so we were already tired from being out all day in-between the two places (and other ripley attractions) the full ripley pass with all attractions is ALOT for one day. Odditorium was ok. Disappointed the aquarium was advertising the penguin tunnel EVERYWHERE through the city and it was closed. The moving walkway thru shark tunnel was also down. Picture walking in masks should be able to be removed as only one family can be photographed at a time.
It wasnt a big as I was hoping it would be. We had a lot of fun!! We had a lot of laughs and shocking moments.
Always fun! Havent been here in 15 years and seeing some of the changes was very cool. Still brought back a lot of good memories from being a kid while walking through! Definitely an attraction you have to visit when in Myrtle Beach!
Had a blast well.worth the money you are spending
The last time I was here was almost 40 years ago. So this was pure nostalgia. There have been a lot of upgrades since I was here last. But the theme is the same... believe it, or not. Its a cool little self-guided tour through strange & quirky attractions. Something for the whole family to enjoy.
I went to this RIPLEYS on September 23Rd,2020 to rub the fertility statues. I paid for a ticket to Ripleys. Im glad I paid for the ticket-There was alot of interesting things in here. If your in Myrtle beach Id highly recommend you to go here.
Jessica Davis from Scranton SC, my kids Tye and Bri had a wonderful time. We definitely will be back
Cute little establishment, the attractions are neat some arent so neat. Would visit again
Cool placeMy son and I had a great time at all the Ripley s belive it or not locations, the Ripleys Haunted House Adventure was fun too!
Not as big as we expected, but absolutely worth it. The giant carved boats, one of Jade and one of Cherry tree root, were my favorite. Tons of interesting artifacts and stories.
I loved the tv show and the museum is the next best thing.
Had some items you would expect to find here, but seemed half of displays were more arcade like than Ripley like. And many of the interactive displays did not work. Admission price too high for what you actually get. Also, parking is hard to find without paying $10. Definitely try to find parking on street or off Ocean Blvd but not behind building, where youll likely find some shady activity....like we did.
Had a wonderful time with the family!!! Its always nice coming back to Myrtle Beach! If I were to tell you I had super powers - would you believe it or not?! Hehehehe!!! Everyone felt like a big kid here! And it was a beautiful sight!
There was definitely some cool items but not really worth the money. I think maybe for younger kids it would be ok but not really older ones. Just look at all the pictures posted here that really all there is to see and you dont have to spend a dime.
A place to explore and learn. Loved it here
This place has been updated since I went through many many years ago, but some of the technology failed. Screens that were supposed to display information were off. It was a bit over priced for what you got, but we still had fun.
Good family place. Lots to look at. Price could be better!
Very good and fun the deal at the aquarium made it even more epic going to 3 ripley places for 45 dollars a great deal
We were here last year for our Anniversary/Getaway. I enjoyed our week in SC and RBION was a great place to visit. We had a blast viewing and taking pics at the wax museum.. Will visit again for a weekend..
Love the attrations very interesting...have to see it with your own eyes. Educational and good family fun
It was a lot more fun than we even expected! We spent almost 2 hours seeing everything. Mix of interesting & bizarre.
Me and my daughter enjoyed it, even though there was not as much stuff to see as we thought there would be.
Nice and fun spot but a bit expensive for a whole crew... other and cheaper attractions around too.
Out of all the attractions Ive been this one would be on the lower. This attraction doesnt even compare to the wax museum or the aquarium but I will say it was a lot of cool things to look at and the best thing wasnt even a believe or not fact but a activity you can do by going into a swirly tunnel that looks like it doesnt have an ending but wait till you go to the end.
Nice building with a lot of unbelievable stuff to view its about $25 per a person
My girlfriend and I spent $90 on tickets for this and the aquarium. We spent less than an hour in Believe It or Not and it was a very underwhelming experience. I do not recommend going. The aquarium was nice though.
Love the place. So many things to look at
Has some cool stuff to look at but not worth the admission fee. It was quite short. 17.99 per person is not at all worth it. If you wanna look at some vintage creations and read some interesting facts about people places and objects around the world, then this odditorium is for you.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the aquarium. So much to see. My favorite place to go was the tunnel. It was amazing to see sharks, turtles, and many other sea life up close. Great time!
Very interesting stuff, little outdated on some attractions. Fun for family and couples.
Very interestingGrandkids really enjoyed it. Adults did too.
Very cool experience! Semi-High price. Would recommend!
Best museum i have been to. So many interesting unusual things. One of my favorite visits on vacation and the kids enjoyed it as well
Myrtle Beach SC is an amazing place to visit. There is so much to do and see. I havent been in years so this visit was relaxing and exciting to me. Cant wait to go back.
I saw some interesting creatures and I did not believe it
I absolutely loved this place. My whole family felt like this was a great place to spend sometime together learning about odd history. I really would suggest going to this museum.
Very interesting & alot to see!
No actual stuff, a few copies, mostly just cartoon fact plaques on the wall. Save $30 and go to their free webpage or something. .
The most amazing place ever...... If you havent been I highly recommend you go.
The oddities were cool to see but several of the pieces were not on site but their info boards were still posted. Too many videos playing at the same time that you could hear, which caused some sensory overload at times even for an adult.
We had a great time here. Family friendly. Fair prices
This place used to be good many years ago. Now its as if no one cares about the building. Its super dirty, out of date, and half of the activities are out of order or broken.
I loved this place!! Love the odd items they have!! And it was clean.
We had a blast and learned a lot at the same time
This place is amazing! Lots of cool facts and artifacts! Hands on parts too. Definitely fun and unbelievable! Great place to spend the afternoon! Definitely going to visit again soon. The military discount is awesome. The place is clean and fun and so cool inside! Got some amazing pics and had the absolute best time here! The arcade at the end is cool and the aquarium is awesome! Seriously if ur near by; check it out its DEFINITELY worth it
Really interesting stuff. However, Some of the display cases need maintenance work. In the King Tut room there was a metal panel over a dog in the wall, it looked like the dog was buried in a cave in, what was that. Some areas had no lighting light the T Rex and Wolf Girl. The floor bounces in the room with the 2 headed cow., felt unsafe
The layout was simple and there were plenty of interactive things to do in there also. As long as you spend the time to read the information placards associated with each of the articles in there it is also a very educational experience. Dont rush through it (youre already paying for it) and take your time to enjoy being a kid.
Youre at your own pace and this place is filled with so much reading material it was nice clean hand sanitizer everywhere it was very fun I enjoyed it
I loved this place, definitely will do it again
Not as much stuff as I thought there would be. All of it was still pretty fascinating though. Our 4yr old was scared of some of the attractions, so you may not want to bring you little ones. I would recommend it if you want to kill 45 minutes and cool off in the AC. $10 per person.
Its a fun place for kids to explore in a rainy day. Dont expect too much. Half of the exhibits are just big TV with video snippets about various wonders
Gatlinburg by the Sea! Same Ripleys tourist attraction that you find in a few cities. Kids get a kick out of it.
Was a neat stop, had a lot of cool things to show. Felt like a large sideshow act to me but aside from that Me and my girlfriend had a great time
They changed it so its not as good as years ago but it was wonderful
Amazing lot of fun
Kids had a great time checking out all the exhibits. Highly suggest purchasing combo tickets w/ the aquarium.
A little worn down but the staff was nice and it was worth the add-on to our aquarium ticket. They have nice displays and plenty to do. It took us about 45 minutes to get through and it was the off season so the crowds were lower. Its hard to believe some of the stuff thats in there but hey thats why it has it name.
Omg! My hubby and sister went I want to say like a month ago. I have soooo much fun so it’s well worth the money. It was very interesting because I grew up watching the show and reading the books. Ripley have like five or six things down there but I just went to the museum. I am going to in again whenever I am in town.
Very fun and kid friendly. The price was a bit high but its also in a tourist area so thats to be expected. The exhibits were interesting and mysterious. There was also an attached arcade when you near the exit. There was also a public bathroom half way through the walk through. My three year old daughter had a blast but was also a bit scared of some of the displays! We enjoyed ourselves!
An excellent place to visit. Informative and fun. Had a great time. I really enjoyed the Egyptian experience. They do have elevator if you require one.
Crazy! You will definitely be wowed! Ticket prices arent expensive and its located near other attractions and eateries as well. Lots to see inside ranging from unique humans to weird and creepy creatures. Theres a large collection of all soughts of artifacts from antiquity from Egypt, Asia and the Americas. We went around 11AM and it wasnt crowed. We were able to take our time checking out the exhibits. They also have several interactive games for the young and old.
Had fun with my fiancé and the sis!! First time going and it won’t be our last.
Very interesting! Tickets very affordable! Staff empecably kind
Lots of fun, very family oriented! We always enjoy coming here whenever we are in the local area. Lots to see and all the locations are easy to find. Parking can be a little difficult at times but I would still definitely go.
Tour was very entertaining and could take your time
This is the second ripley’s I’ve been too and as always I loved it. The few hands on activities they have are really interesting right along with the information about each exhibit.
Great time. Lots to see. My kids had a blast!
Such a neat and interesting place so many unusual things that you will never again see
First time ever going to one of these locations after reading about them as a kid. I was expecting more to be in the exhibits but still very interesting stuff they had. Lived up to the things they have in their books. Would recommend this for a family trip
Nice play. But is better buy tickets online. If not u have wait too much in line for buy tickets there and go in
Good place to visit!! We had lots of fun and enjoyed everything there.
This is a little interesting place to visit in Myrtle Beach. Just like the show.
Fun place to see real life things from Ripleys Atlas
Very accommodating to those with disabilities and service animals.
Super fun place to visit to see cool new and usual things!!! If your the nonbeliever your gonna want to check this place out for sure! Plus they off a combo deal with the aquarium as well!
It was fun and we got to learn but the machines for the fortune teller were scamming
Lots of fun and learned some weird history. Really cool!
Waste of money. Floor upstairs feels like its falling in. Sanitizing stations are plentiful. Looks old and dated.
So much fun the kids had a blast thanks gi6s at Ripleys
Definitely was fun. The kids enjoyed it
This is a place to visit at least once, doesnt disappoint, they have all the oddities you would expect. Remember to ask about grouping other Ripleys attractions together, i did this with my family and we saved quite a bit of money.
This place was fun, plan on coming again.
Family loved it!!! Lady at the counter was very helpful and gave wonderful customer service. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
We in Myrtle Beach, visiting family. My niece has special needs and sensory issues and cannot wear a mask. The rest of the family offered to wear a mask but she cannot. Your business denied her entry and told us to come back at a later date. I want to inform you that you are breaking ADA laws and can be fined. She has wanted nothing more than to visit Ripleys and you totally broke her heart. I can guarantee you that we will NEVER be back to a Ripleys owned business and will be letting the ADA know exactly what happened.
Loved this place alot of interesting things inside.
Fun place to visit while you are in Myrtle Beach. Robert Ripley had a knack for the strange and unusual. He assembled quite a collection of odd facts from around the world. A century later, Im glad his findings are still on display here for everyone to enjoy.
Ripleys museums always surpass expectations. Very interesting exhibits, as well as lots of fun little games to play. Its a great place to take kids, and is reasonably priced.
