Good Morning, I am a guest at River Oaks Resort.I am very much unsatisfied with my stay here so far. I checked in on Wednesday and when I entered into my unit I was very much unsatisfied. 1.the room was not clean it had what appeared to be blood on the room door. 2.the food disposal didnt work. several wall socket does not work. 4. The pillow cases were dirty which makes me believe there not being change,and this is a problem with Covid being as high as it is. 5.all of the blankets have spots on them and they are in horrible condition. I have stayed at several resort this one I dont even have words for. I have done several ratings and write reviews but I dont even know where to start with my stay here. Ive stayed at your sister site on several occasions.i have stayed at Ocean Creek, Atlantic, The Palms Resort, Kingston Plantation, The Caribbean, Sandy Beach, and Bali Bay.These are just a few I can name several more. I was also told that the pools are open to get here and discover they are close. My letter want just stop at you. False advertising! Purchased deal on Groupon that stated the facility had multiple pools and tennis courts. When we checked in we were told we could only go to the pool that was beside our condo! We could not go to any of the other facilities on the property! Also the AC didnt work good, the bathroom door didnt lock, the shower door was broken. Would not stay there again even if it was free! And please dont lose your pool bands because thats a $400 charge and if you lose your house keys thats an additional $65 charge!
Loved our little apartment!!! Didnt want to leave and that wasnt just because of the beach. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a Kroger right down the road so we were definitely covered. Everything was clean and rules were clearly posted. Had plenty of Channel choices on the TVs and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals with. We got in around 11:30 pm so we struggled with the dark. We fumbled around getting the keys from one place and then having to drive almost 15 more minutes down the road to our actual building(which we didnt know we would have to do), driving in circles in the parking lot trying to figure out where to park and where we were to enter the building plus having to figure out what floor the unit was on and at what end and whether there was an elevator or not....all extremely frustrating after driving almost 4 hours but after we went and signed in the next morning everything was smooth sailing. I dont know if this goes here or a Groupon issue as we booked from that site, but the description needed to be better. This unit was on the 3rd floor but the description did not state that. I have a soft cast on so climbing 3 flights of stairs was a major ordeal since there is no elevator. Also, the description said partial ocean view which was inaccurate. The only way you could even get a peek of the ocean was if you went outside on the balcony, sit in the chair facing the ocean, and then lean back and over and if you were lucky you could catch a glimpse of the ocean. Finally, there were some additional fees at check-in that should be better explained while booking but otherwise, we had a wonderful experience!!
This trip was amazing. River Oaks Resort met beyond my family and I expectations. The moment we walked in that door our faces dropped to the floor. Everything was clean, the lighting was amazing and the view!!!! We checked in late but our keys were right where they said they would be. All the attractions were minutes away. All my family cared about was the beach. And that was even close. We were only suppose to stay 5 days. But we extended that by and extra day. That’s how much we loved it. I really want to come back to this location. And I pray that will happen soon. Thank you so much River Oaks Resort. The Herring’s enjoyed their family vacation.P.S please update the pictures of the rooms.
Attended for my birthday and wished I went to a different place. It felt like a retirement community. I book places with a balcony so that we can smoke outside knowing most place dont allow smoking inside. But you cant even smoke on the balcony. Broken chairs outside, broken headboard, dirty furniture, they can definitely use an upgrade for amenities within the villa. The couch in the living room was grimy and dirty, we had to place a blanket on top just to sit. Would not go again.
The overall house condition was not bad just somethings that could be worked on to make the unit better. The kitchen light switch didnt work all the time. The A/C unit could not be adjusted and the house was freezing cold, to the point we had to open the patio door and open windows. There was a lot of mold and residue on the patio that is growing all over and even in the inside the house of the patio door. The televisons could be upgraded to a bigger size and the living room furniture like the tables and lounge chairs need to be updated also. It seem more like the 70s with the furniture they have in there.
They have the worse customer service, came for my birthday weekend. I was suppose to stay in a very good friends unit, the switch me a few days before my arrival without notification to the owner or myself. The unit they switch me to was awful, plus the manager of duty lied about the reason reason because he did bother to check. I was forced to locate accommodation at the last minute because I refused to stay in substandard living quarters that they placed me in.
Hello. Wanted to share my past weekend experience. It wasn’t a good one. The room was disgusting and dirty. The furniture was extremely old beat up UNCOMFORTABLE and junky. The bed was hard and squeaked loud and annoying. The blinds were broken and not functioning in most of the rooms. There was mold growing in the ceiling in the closets and the whole condo smelled on it every time the air turned on. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had for a vacation. I went to talk to Jeff at the front desk multiple times over my weekend and he promised to make repairs and failed to deliver on his word. I would appreciate some type of compensation for my ruined vacation.
Would definitely recommend. Felt like we were staying in our own home
The property has a good selection of amenities and the waterway runs right past the property. The office staff (Katheryn) was super nice and helpful. My only gripe comes on the Hotels.com side...the app let me pick a certain bedding type for this property and that is not guaranteed. The couch bed in the unit I was in wasnt comfortable, but I wasnt expecting us to use the couch bed. Katheryn was awesome, she did give me an option to change rooms the next day since I checked in after the office was closed. It was still a good stay and clean room.
Rental was old run down and dirty to say the least. Mold, fruit flies, and air filter not changed in years. Pictures posted is NOT the rental! Great location and the outside of property very nice.
We drove 11 hours to stay here. They gave us a filthy room that had not been cleaned during the coronavirus pandemic. Check in was at 4pm. It is currently 6pm and they still have not cleaned it. We have been sitting in South Carolina heat for two hours. All they can tell us is that the cleaning guy is on his way. All they offered us was a 50 dollar discount, for wasting hours of our time and potentially putting us in harms way. If we could find a new place to stay, we would. Unfortunately it’s a holiday weekend and that is not an option. If you value your time, health and safety. I would 100% NOT recommend.

The room was not what I asked for. The beds was ragged and old. It was dirty. Pee stains on the toilet. Bed bugs in the room and they trying to deny it after I showed them pictures if bites on my mom and my nephew. The manager is a liar and keep sending me to voicemail now because they won’t refund me my money or anything. Then gave me a number that supposed to be corporate and they saying they really don’t have one.
Amazing staff and great accommodations. We will definitely be staying here again!
Was a terrible experience. Everything from the bed to the garbage disposal was broken and everything was outdated and needed to be updated. I felt like was in that 70s show. If I could give it a zero I would. I do not recommend this vacation spot for the price we paid which was 980 to stay.

Decent stay for the price. Beds in the unit we rented need a lot of work. Think of that horrible matress you sleep on at your Grandmas house.
Unable to pay balance over phone. Large stain on sofa bed. Cracked outlet. Confetti on floor & outside from prior visitor or owner. Had to fix guest room toilet each time flushed. Was not provided card or key to use pool on premises. Outside in walkway & unit smelled like weed. In unit ithe smell seemed to be coming through the vent system from other unit. This was mentioned to onsite security who said Yeah Ive noticed that, be sure to mention it when I check out. Played golf at course onsite and they are not related or a part of the facility or housing, therefore no discount when staying there but was provided rain checks when it rained us out during our round
When we arrived to the resort we first noticed that that the resort we booked on the website was not the same as what we physically saw. We also noticed that none of the tvs worked.We decided to call to notify that this wasnt the resort we payed for and also that the tvs were not working. We were told that they would call us tomorrow morning about the resolution for the resort and also that maintenance would be there shortly. The days went by and we never received our call about being sent to the wrong house and also, maintenance never came after calling multiple times.As the days went by the place we stayed since the first day were filled with nats everywhere. We also had to wash out the trash can because it probably hadnt been clean in years and the smell was terrible.Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. We stay in resorts all the time and this was absolutely disappointing.
My family and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay. We felt as if we were home. We loved it!

First night didn’t even get settledIn and we were greeted by the people under us banging on their ceiling our floor until midnight I made numerous calls to the front desk with no response or reply. Second day and night same scenario my wife and 2 small children having to deal with these rude people went to the office the next morning I was told that even though the same people owned all the units not all of the units were managed by the same company so I was informed that if I wanted anything to be done that I needed to contact the local police that the people at the front desk could not help me in any way I will never stay at river oaks resort again and I would suggest that no one stay there
Great stay. Only thing I didnt understand was I asked for a king, but got two twin beds pushed together with wheels on them. Imagine what really happened on my birthday, anniversary weekend. I fell through the beds. It was terrible. But clean room, couple of dirty towels left from another guest, but I guess housekeeping didnt check.
The resort itself is great!! The front desk employee, Mrs. Wilcoxson, was and is a horrible employee. Rude, condescending, non-helpful, and did I mention VERY RUDE?!?! I will never stay here again as long as she is employed
The owner has not changed these mattresses in years and every single mattress was horrible for that reason they get a 2 star. Enjoy your sleep when you stay somewhere is important.If they spend some money and change their mattresses they would get a better rating. I guess it was unfortunately somebody had to experience this when common sense ought to tell you people like to enjoy there sleep when staying somewhere.
I did a late check-in and had a slight cleaning issue. It was late so I informed management the next morning when I completed my check in. They handled all my concerns without any complaints. I would definitely book with River Oaks Resort again .
Very low quality rental for the money. Low budget motel feel. Stains on/in bed and dirty. Very poor wifi.
The roaches are terrible...I told the front desk as I was leaving the lasy seemed as if she had no idea of the roaches and stated she cleans that apartment herself but out of all the apartments there are she cleans that one.. I will no recommend this place for anyone I have a 6weeks old baby and to have paid $230 for 2 nights and having to sleep with roaches is ridiculous and no one is doing anything.

The first room we was place in the lock was broken. The whole place needs a upgrade. Everything is so old looking. The staff never told us anything about the property or where the pools was located at. The lady that check us in was in a rush to leave. Letting us know we was their last check in.
We arrived at about 11:00 at night. We were so tried and just wanted to sleep. Once we got into the condo we realized how hard the beds were. The next morning when trying to get ready we realized that half of the outlets didn’t work so it made getting ready kind of hard. The dish washer needs replaced BAD. the dishes in the cabinet were VERY dirty and the dishwasher didn’t get them clean at all. We found a weed bowl and some contacts in one of the bathroom cabinets from the previous guest which was pretty upsetting because it showed how they didn’t clean very well at all. Other than the fact that it was clearly not cleaned well it was a nice room I suppose and good location. The pool was nice and right below the room which was convenient. I would stay again if I new for sure the room was going to be very clean.
They needed some fixtures like lamps and tvsBeds were comfortable and a little outdated on furniture and decor.

Beautiful condo. Great decor, clean, fresh, and cozy. We had 8 people and everyone had a BED to sleep in. Definitely on my list for a return trip. Loved it.
Great spot, terrible Wi-Fi. They shut off the Wi-Fi at 11:00pm the night before our checkout date. Loved the living space, wasnt prepared for the $100.00 security deposit in addition to the $134.00 resort fee upon check-in. Thought my total amount was prepaid through my employers discount website(Working Advantage). Also, there is a $5.00 Wi-Fi surcharge that you have to pay through an offsite provider (they give you a 800 # to call). Our unit was on the third floor which was nice (got my workout in carrying our luggage up the steps). Spacious two bedroom unit with screened in patio. I recommend making sure that all of the added prices are included in your budget when reserving!
Worst ever!.. I waited 3 hours to get my keys for this dump..the agency handling this property is a joke..they dont have enough people working..broken elevators .this was a joke considering we were on the 3rd floor..mold on the ceiling..you cant even get a cup of coffee anywhere on the premises..the shop and restaurant are closed..I lost my entire first night stay trying to get my room..not to mention gas and time driving another 15 miles in traffic to get keys on a Friday night..I asked for 2 bedrooms specifying the ages of the children..twin beds were crucial..ignored by staff.patio furniture left in the unit...I hate to even select a single star
We stayed at a condo. We arrived after office hours but were left directions that were incomplete . It took 2 hours and the help of an off duty mailman to find the place. If they would have put the address on the directions, we would have found it immediately. When I informed the clerk the next morning, she was very nonchalant about it. I may not stay again.
At first glance, everything appeared new/updated and clean. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and saw hardwood flooring and cathedral ceilings. The unit appeared bright, airy, updated and clean. We figured we would take it easy the first night and do our grocery shopping and go to the pool. We did the grocery shopping and then headed to the pool. We were unable to get into the pool because we needed a key fob for the pool which we were not given. I called the office and was automatically directed to another office in North Myrtle Beach. I was told that the management office closed at 5pm and we would need to resolve our issue in the morning at 9am. We also found out later that evening that we did not have the WIFI instructions in our packet, so we did not have WIFI our first day at the resort.While preparing dinner we noticed that we were not provided dishwashing supplies (soap and a sponge), so we went on our first trip to the store buy dishwashing supplies. Fast forward to bedtime. The master bedroom had red/burgundyish lipstick on the comforter. We removed the comforter and the same make-up on the sheets, along with other questionable stains. Upon checking the second bedroom, the sheets appeared clean, but there were no fitted sheets on either bed (There were two beds in the room). There was a flat sheet that did not cover the entire mattress and a comforter. We had a washer/dryer in our unit, so I prepared to wash the soiled sheets. Surprise…we weren’t provided washing powder, so we made another trip to the store to get more supplies. After washing and drying the sheets, I went to take a shower. The shower liner was unclean. There were runny, very noticeable soap stains. Thank goodness I always travel with Clorox wipes, so I was able to clean the liner.The next morning, I brought everything to the attention of the office. I spoke with Kaitlin, who by the way checked us in. I was offered an apology regarding the pool and the WIFI, but not for the uncleanliness of the unit or missing sheets. Kaitlin stated I could drive to the office and retrieve some dish soap and washing powder. She stated that she was not aware that the gates for the pool were locked and that we could also retrieve the key fob. So now I was being more inconvenienced after making two trips to the store and doing the housekeepers job. In addition, we had to go on a scavenger hunt to locate the WIFI information. Kaitlin stated that it could have been on the router, under a knickknack or written in a cabinet. This resort charges a $15.00 per day resort fee and I was not offered any kind of refund for being inconvenienced, or due to the fact that we did not have access to WIFI or the pool our first day. Kaitlin did send housekeeping to place fitted sheets on the two beds.At checkout, I explained to Kathryn that I did not feel we should have had to pay the resort fee and I also believe I deserved an additional refund for the other inconveniences. I was told that that Kaitlin had not placed any notes in the computer and she was not in. I had to restate everything to the Kathryn. She called over a lady that appeared to be a Manager. The Manager stated that they would need to call Kaitlin and they would give me call after speaking with her.A week went by and I had not received a call from anyone at the resort. I called and spoke with Dimitri. Once again, I had to explain everything that happened during our stay. He told me that he would speak with the other employees and they would contact me by Thursday. It was Tuesday and he stated that he was the only person in the office. Dimitri also mentioned that Rosalee was probably the Manager that Kathryn called over. Needless to say, it is now the Monday after the Thursday that I was told I would be contacted and I still have yet to receive a response.
Based on reviews I hope this place has changed we plan to visit soon for our daughter 1st birthday I do hope we can look at this as a great 1st birthday for her please place us in an updated clean room with all working equipment TV shower stove microwave washer and dryer Air conditioning (etc) no hidden fees please confirm all fees upfront. Please check for bed bugs, viewing of room prior commitment should be allowed upon arrival Thanks be Blessed n see you soon. Praying for a great stay I will post results of our stay afterwards.
Had a fantastic time and everything was perfect. thos i did not like you pay $125 for cleaning services. when no one cleans the whole week and you have to take out the garbage and load the dishwasher. i would think that is included in cleaning.

I absolutely love this place!! I brought my kids here for a 3 night stay and they are above and beyond what I imagined. The staff are amazing and the property is perfect!The reviews can’t even describe how wonderful this place is!Thank you
Furnishings were VERY old, needed updates across the board. Sofa cushions were torn, TVs did not work, maintenance was no help, etc. Very disappointed that the resort fees, admin fees, and taxes amounted to more than the rental fee. Probably would not stay there again based on this experience.
A really bad experience.From day one the drains of the bathtubs (both) were clogged until the third day he fixed it. Throughout my stay there were many cockroaches and on Friday there was a big leak in the master bathroom. Also, the carpets looked dirty and the main bed was broken. It was a real nightmare.

Nice place to spend a weekend. Never really had an bad experience that was not rectified. I didnt the stay in the area I booked to stay in this year but I was satisfied where they moved my family when we told them we werent happy. Hats off to River Oaks Resort for always making sure that the customer is happy. Great customer service from the front desk clerk.

- The bedsheets were itchy and they were smelly- They never went to even check on our rooms during our stay- They never left enough toilet paper, trash bags, or napkins- The laundry dryer didnt work! We had to go dry our clothes far away
Our room was very nice and clean. Everything was there like they said. It was nice to have kitchen and washer and dryer so everything was clean before we went home. We had a problem with sound on TV and we called and maintenance was there in minutes. The pool was very nice and the hot tub. Everything we wanted to do while here was within 10 to 15 min from here.
The overall property was beautiful but I had to clean my own room, due to housekeeping not cleaning it.

The apartment that we stayed was full with baby roaches. The roaches were in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. The kitchen needs an upgrade. We book with Rivers Oaks every Thanksgiving and this time was the worst.

Our rental was dirty! The carpets were filthy, which shouldnt be there anyhow at the beach. It should be tile or hardwood floors. Basically, it feels like staying at Grandmas house and her eyesight is bad so the place is dirty! No money ever goes back into this property. To say it needs updates is the biggest understatement!

We stayed in Barefoot Resorts, which is actually in North Myrtle Beach. The unit itself was beautiful and well maintained. The check in process at Beach Vacations was a nightmare!
This place was horrible!!!! Had a horrible smell when you first walked in!! Advertised having 2 heated pools and indoor pools and when we got there they only had an outdoor pool and not heated!! My kids were so unhappy and that was the only reason we booked that place! When I told the from desk they didn’t care only worried about there money not the guests!!! Do not stay here the king bedroom is 2 twin beds pushed together and very uncomfortable!! The only reason we stayed is we drove 6 hours to get there!!!Never again!!!!!!!!!
Noisy alarm no cleaning supplies for dishes or dish washer had to go out and buy some an trash bags didnt make sense

We enjoyed our stay there but wished the bed for us was indeed a king (not two twins put together)... didnt seem that the comforters were clean thoughOne leg on the loveseat broken off.No fans in the twin bedrooms.Lots of towels, thank you.Not enough pans to use, or cups.
Nice facilities..needed a little maintenance on the back screened in porch. No extra rolls of tissue placed in either bathroom. Excellent location. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip!
Unprofessional staff and there was a horrible ant infestation. I have kids and I was placed on the third floor with 4 little kids and got a complaint from the neighbor saying we were noisy after hours when we were gone everyday all day because we were on vacation so of course we didn’t get back to the room until a little after dinner each night. Needs to take these things into consideration when a person books with this resort
Nice little resort on the intercostal waterway. Condos are nicely appointed and a short driving distance to the strand.
I’ve always dealt with Beach vacations and NEVER had a bad experience until now we stayed at River Oaks recently and it was our first and definitely our last beware if you booked your stay through a third party you will have to pay a additional non refundable $100 for taxes and fees we were told we were upgraded to a “better” room which was badly painted, hard beds, not to mention bed bugs!! Yes, all over my legs and friend daughter head! Call to complain and they could’ve cared less!! Not to mention it was dirty when we arrived what we seen couldn’t have been what they call clean the rug was disgusting!This was by far my worst experience ever! Save your money look elsewhere

If I would have rated this based on the first room given, it would have been a 1 star! However when we went back to the front desk and discussed the conditions, they gave us dinner certificates and changed our reservations while we were eating. The second room we were given was excellent! The decor was very contemporary, the condo was very clean, and we enjoyed our vacation!
I was fond of this place until recently. The views are amazing, the pools and hot tubs are great, never used the golf course. The grounds are kept very tidy and the local animal life is great. However, neighbors complaining about parking and noise and lying on others is ridiculous. Neighbors spy and snitch on others as if they get paid to do so.

The apartment C27 was in very bad conditions. The carpet was dirty, no microwave, no wifi and the equipment was minimal. Beds were old, needed to be changed. The worst of all, it took days to fix problems.Owner comment means nothing. He had a chance to satisfy us when we were there and stay still. He could have offered another apartment, fix the wifi or offer a discount. I believe that his comment is a Cut & Paste that is used in many occasions. Bad place.
The service was nice. I was less than excited about the accommodations. I was told it would be a resort and it was basically an apartment no where near the beach nor is it close to anything fun.
Stayed at the River Oaks Resort for 5 nights. What you have to remember is that the units are owned by someone else so each one can be slightly different in terms of the fixtures. Our unit was very nice, clean, and served us well for the week. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. Overall we have stayed at many resorts in the Myrtle Beach area and this one was as good as the other. Would stay again in the future.
TERRIBLE. Please spend your money elsewhere. Shower was dirty. Blankets smelled like old man. No WiFi. Bed was broken and we had to sleep on the floor. Everytime I tried to call management they redirected me to a random number or either told me we had to contact the owners and they have nothing to do with it. They never gave us any number or email to reach these so called owners. Terrible company and no real way to get complaints heard. I even had them hang up on the phone with me. SAVE YOUR MONEY and dont believe the pictures. These are not actually vacation rentals. These are apartments, that people live in most of the year. They looked lived in, stains everywhere, broken tvs, etc. Another staff member told us that they and others live here long term.
The location was good. We had 2 bedrooms and the tv didnt work in neither one. We told maintenance and he did come but he said he had to work on it but never came back, so we were there 3 days and no one could watch t v in their room. Our bed was hard as a brick and it was 2 beds pushed together. River Oaks should make the owner of the condo do the proper upgrades and have things that work, if they expect the renter to pay and uphold their rules. If I use this resort again I am staying away from building 54 room G. My daughters had a 2 bedroom there as well and they had soft beds and TVs that worked with no problems!!! The front office lady was nice but didnt do anything to compensate me for a terrible experience!!!
I Booked a room with 590 River Oaks resorts suite 50C, and it was HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.... it was sooo Outdated and so Uncomfortable. I had my parents and myself and my 3 kids, we had a week long to stay there,our beds were so hard the blankets seemed soo old and the mattresses where pushed together, that was so cheap and uncomfortable and we encountered some Cockroaches in the kitchen and closet, it also smelled so old. We brought it to the front desks attention, all she said was “Mamm we can get our maintenance out there and she then said, it was probably the down pour that brought them down.That is not the correct way to deal with such problem like that... Front desk was very rude & Sarcastic.. I advise anyone who reads these reviews take my review and NOT Book a room with these people. I blame the resorts for letting someone own a place like that and the damn Owner of the room...Please Please do not book a room with 590 RIVEROAKS RESORTS in Myrtle Beach... Unit 50 C
I have done work with and for, as well as stayed in their units. Wonderful staff who actually care. Be weary on some complaints, many people are looking for something for nothing. I have all my friends stay here when they come into town.
They make you feel like youre right at home. Thank you for the hospitality!!!
Beautiful property, very clean units. But the beds in our unit were horrible
Upgraded us to a 3 bedroom condo for free and even let us move to the Grand Villas at World tour for free, because my mother has bad knees and the stairs hurt them. rooms were clean and pools were nice. everything was well taken care of. We will stay with them again if we are ever in the Myrtle Beach area.

We stay from june 2-5 2018.. our condo was very clean. Very satified with the unit and the location.. The pool area was clean and VERY SPACIOUS. The owner was very quick with responses each time I emailed him.. I will stay there again.
Very clean and comfortable villa. Ive been here three times and will continue to come. Many great restaurants and the beach is close by. I love this place

This place is horrendous. We came to the hotel and our room was not ready. The pictures online give the impression of a beautiful and clean hotel. Wrong. Just outside the door of our apartment, we noticed how the doors were disgusting and filled with spider webs and insects. When I came into the room, I noticed that the pillow was stained and so were the bed sheets. What disappointed me the most was when I walked into the bathroom. The shower curtains were DISGUSTING!! There were soap stains and there wasn’t even hair conditioner. Every morning when I went to brush my teeth, I would find spiders in the sink. They did not supply us with any additional toilet paper, or dishwasher soap, or a sponge. There is no daily maintenance. No one comes to fix the room or clean or wash the towels. The supplies they give you only last about 3 days. No one gave us a pool pass, and the gate was locked on our way to the pool. There was also some garbage around the floor. While being here, I did not want to touch anything or step on anything because of how disgusted I was. I do NOT recommend. Don’t be fooled by their pictures online or the “low” prices.
Got here at 1pm had to wait till 4pm to check in. The room are very outdated n in need of upgrades. So far its ok
I just left this place and vow to NEVER return. I was so disappointed at the service I received. I booked a room and was advised of a indoor pool in vicinity. I had to talk my daughter into coming to this place instead of being right on the beach. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE WEBSITE WHEN YOU LOOK TO BOOK YOUR ROOM. Once I got there, I did not have early check in as I requested 3 weeks prior; that was one thing. I checked in as another couple. The couple inquired about the inside pool because they found out they would not be in the area where there would be one. After hearing this, I inquired as well and guess what? I was in the same boat.We were both told our room was upgraded (on her own she did that she said)to the Grand Villas. So we both asked to be where the inside pool would be BEING WE BOTH LOOKED ONLINE AND WAS BOOKED FOR THAT EVEN AFTER INQUIRNG!!! So by the couple asking first, she chose a room for them. That was fair. She advised me that I could look at a level or some word C room. I asked what that was and she told me that it was a room that was not so upgraded. We went in that room and it was white wicker furniture in there with tube TVs. WHAT??? I feel when I am on vacation, I want something better than what I have at home. There was dust in the corners of the carpet, there were different headboards on the twin beds that were slanted. couldnt get out fast enough. So by looking at that, I felt maybe a Grand Villa wouldnt be so bad. We get to the Grand Villa
The bed was extremely hard in the master bedroom and living room furniture looked out of date as well.
The first night we had to clean the room when we first got there. The floor was noticeably dirty and we had to vacuum. Bathroom had mold on door frame. Found bed bugs the next morning. They moved us to another unit which also had to be cleaned! Will never stay here again. Only good thing was the rooms had a lot of space.
