Lit at night (paths open until 10), benches and tables, bathrooms (open until 830 pm), and water fountain . Beautiful pavilion, lovely landscaping, and water fowl. Connects to the Greenway and to Battlefield for walking and biking.

Clean and its open space. You can see far. I found it safer trail to walk if youre alone.

Great place to take pictures, wish there was more of a parking lot though. Before all the buildings went up around it, there was a great spot now only about three cars can fit and its very muddy. I might try parking in the building parking lot and walking around it next time. Going to take some of my sons senior pictures here in the fall.

Kids have a nice time making photographs at this location there is a gazebo and a bridge that makes a nice backdrop. Be careful with parking some areas are still under construction

Very uninviting! Its very confusing where to enter or where to park. It looked beautiful from the outside but going through construction is very difficult just to have to turn around because we got lost. Never coming back!

Great place to take a walk, take in some fresh air. Youll also do ducks from time to time and they have a small fee station u can buy free food a quarter. Also, many people like to huge special paired rocks to brighten your day.

Beautiful location, pretty big area to walk, never too many people. There are a lot of ducks and geese that live here.Also, its a pretty popular location for locals to hide ROCKS that have been painted. Kids love to go here and find the rocks, and when found you post them to the Facebook group. (Murfreesboro rocks!)You then can keep the rock or rehide, and its a fun craft for kids to paint their own rocks and rehide them!

Park was really nice, unfortunately they drained the pond and filled some of it. Not a nice wall around anymore. Bully the gazebo is still nice though. Looks like the Canadian geese have left, but there are still some ducks there.All in all, I would wait a few months before visiting to see what construction is done.

Beautiful little place tucked away behind Gateway. Picnic tables, walking trail, pond with ducks, and a great place for small group entertainment. Construction makes it a little less inviting but its good to know its only temporary.

Used to be our favorite place to walk when were living in Murfreesboro.

We stayed on a powered motorhome site for two nights and we could have easily stayed much longer. The site was incredibly clean and well kept, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Fantastic location, super close to Airlie Beach shops and the marina, about a 15 minute walk. We particularly loved all the different birds on site, so nice waking up to them! This was definitely the best park we stayed on during our Queensland road trip, would love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Nice walking trails just wish they would clean off the poop and add more shade. Few of the lights are out in areas too.

Its beautiful here, even in the winter. There was a lot of water that wasnt flowing, so Im quite sure that in the spring and summer months it is a lot better. It was nice to see it in the winter still, with quite a bit of the pond frozen over. There were plenty of ducks and geese. Its quiet and peaceful and overall a great place to grab some fresh air. The kids enjoyed exploring the area and seeing the ice. Had a nice walk. Will be back when its warmer.

Very nice and clean place to do your morning run or walk. It’s a one mile radius. You’ll get to see many birds, ducks and turtles. Several different places to park your vehicle.

Beautiful place to take pictures such as we did for my nieces prom. We had a photographer who got lots of gorgeous pictures which are not these :-) definitely recommend it.

Nice place to walk, during the day. Have not been there at night so might check the lighting. Recommend to walk with some one or a group of your close friends.

Gateway = Love. Its beautiful. The animals. The trail. The water features. There are OTTERS there. You can walk there in the middle of the night and not feel like youre about to get jumped. 10/10.

Somewhat nice outdoor location. Pond and island with a gazebo that can be rented for events. Long walking path great for walking, running, or even breaking out the bicycle, skates, or skateboards. There are ducks always around and a station for getting food to feed them. Early morning and late evening is when the bugs come out and you will walk through what seems like a wall of them.There is not a paved parking lot or a fully paved road to the front entrance as of 7/24/17. If you want a paved lot, you can park at the Greenway entrance off West College St on the opposite end. Short walk across the street to the back half of the long loop. All in all, its an alright place to get a bit of fresh air.

Its a pretty walk/relaxation spot if youre just not feeling like committing to the Greenway.

Great opportunity for the city and its new development, but the lack of attention has taken its toll. Water is down from years past (been that way for few years), weeds growing up between upper & lower pools, never know when fountain or waterfalls on, lack of bathrooms, etc...

I enjoyed an evening stroll here. I felt safe and enjoyed the pond and welling track.

It was a beautiful location for a family wedding & reception. There are restrooms available, a gazebo, and a Pavillion which work great for food serving and dining.

Honestly, even though there were areas that were rather pretty, what stuck in my mind was the huge collection of trash that had gathered in the water with no one caring to remedy the situation. There were also quite a few ducks and geese when we visited which it was nice to see, although the poor things werent far from the growing trash island.

Dont really know whats going on there. Tried to go with my wife, assuming that wed see fish or water but half of it is drianed for some reason. And what water there is, its green and smells. Didnt enjoy it and I wouldnt go back.
