Im amazed at the accuracy of the placement and how high they stacked these rocks! The plaque is so shiny! Awesome experience.

They have space for parking for about 5 cars. The single monument has a small dedication plaque.

It was Beautiful there. We went Hiking there-It was but enjoyed it so much. Abingdon Virginia was great for our vacation. Beautiful scenery-great friendly people-and I loved the downtown area. The best part was visiting our friends.

This is a nice, small site with an impressive obelisk monument. PLEASE NOTE - this isnt a park or an area with room for outdoor activities. Sits very close to the road and easy to miss driving by. Best viewed during day as its not lighted. Quaint, peaceful site surrounded by elegant wrought iron fence and trees. There is a small bench so nice little spot to take your lunch when weather is nice. Also interesting to know youre smack-dab in the center of the state.

Great little marker just on the outskirts of Murfreesboro TN. They have space for parking for about 5 cars. The single monument has a small dedication plaque. I wouldnt center your trip around this but if your in the area it is a check it off the bucket list kind of thing, especially for Tennesseans.

Pretty cool stop to take a quick picture knowing that it is the center of Tennessee however folks like to write graffiti on the plaque so trying to take a nice picture by it can be tough.

It’s great to know that we live in the geographical center of our Great State of Tennessee! Nice monument and small area to pull off Old Lascassas Pike out of the traffic. This is a must see in our great state! Ride your motorcycle by, get off and take a few pictures. You won’t regret it.

Many years ago the Grateful Dead played at MTSU. Legend says that Jerry Garcia visited the convenience store on the corner on the corner of Middle Tennessee Blvd and Main and declared it the center of the universe. If you buy anything there, you are cursed to always return to Murfreesboro. The only way to undo the curse, people say, is to urinate on the monument marking the geographic center of Tennessee (disclaimer: this is both illegal and gross.) True? Who knows. Photo op? Definitely.

If you are just interested in going to the geographical center just because you can then it is not that bad of a place granted it is very small area with nothing really in the area but a small monument.

Not big or fancy but I think it is cool to stand on the center of our state. My daughter and I took a few pictures. Very nice.

Great for geography buffs and novices alike. The geographical center of TN is not a big or fancy place, but it is cool to have been!

Its a simple tall stone oblisk amid red rose bushes with a park bench and small parking lot. A plaque is on the monument. Its easy to miss so drive slowly down Old Lasscassas Pike and look for it on the east side of the highway.

Its just a monument but hey its a cool one!
