Place was beautiful, but had a lady pass by us say that there was someone in a mask jumping out at people

One of my favorite starting points as far as trail heads are concerned! Peaceful and soothing nature.

We kayaked almost all the way to smyrna and back and it was great. Good times right in my back yard basicly. I grew up here and the stones river has always been meaningful to me but im still learning new ways to enjoy it. Hooray for middle tennessee!!!!!!!

Beautiful peaceful place to just relax or sit by the water and read or write color whatever its nice and peaceful a great place to just get away from the world for a bit and enjoy some nature and some me time! :)

Nice water features, nice trail. good point to launch a yak, especially after a good rain. makes for a good time.

The trail is pretty much one-way its nice for a walk or kayaking.

Trailhead on the Murfreesboro Greenway near the grist mill dam. Good place to put in kayaks or go fishing. Some people like to swim near the bridge above the dam.

Beautiful scenery and lots to do. If you like biking, hiking, kayaking, or photography, this is your place. Theres even a great tennis facility nearby. Ill definitely be back, probably early morning to take some quality pics of the waterfall.

This place been on my google maps for 5 years. Beautiful area and great greenway to get in some outdoor time in your work week. A couple ladies I met said you can link up the the other trailheads and easily do 5 miles on a bike ride. Look forward to doing this again.

After a 30 second walk from parking your car you can see this beautiful waterfall just past the bridge above the walk way. I go here every day since coming to this state :)

I walked the complete Greenway it was 11 miles round trip. It is a paved pathway and pretty flat so most anyone can walk this trail. I did see one police officer on the trail patrolling.

Peaceful. People are keeping their distance. My family and my dog enjoyed it.

I had a very nice run starting from this trailhead.There was plenty of parking, and the entrance was easy to find. The trail was paved, well maintained, and free of trash and graffiti. The stream was very nice to run along. There where regular offshoots of the trail, some of which went to historic sites.There is no water access along this part off the trail, so bring want you need.

Very nice place to go for a walk in nature. Got to see two deer playing it was very peaceful!

Very beautiful and relaxing, great for walking dogs. Lots of trash and debris though and about a dozen tents from homeless people but the trail is still very relaxing. Wouldnt mind putting together a group to meet up once in a while for trash clean up.

The green way is a great place to take your family. Beautiful water, dams, trees, plants,and wildlife. I have seen deer and turkey. It is on the stones river that has many different species of fish. Take a kayak and a pole n go exploring

Its got good water and a nice walking trail that is paved and a pretty bridge ive caught multiple fish here but i wouldnt say its an amazing fishing spot a nice place to take a walk for sure.

Its my favorite Greenway by far!!! My wife and I come here at least 4-5 days a week every time is a blast:) cant wait to come back and explore more

Great place to fish, jog, or walk the dog. Would have given it 5 stars, but every once in a while the police are looking for somebody there.

If you love nature then this is the place for you. Also, if youre into Pokemon Go, this place has a few different pokestops and is a great way to get km for hatching eggs && getting candy for your buddy. I love coming here to enjoy nature && catch fictional Pokemon on my smart phone. Great way to blend technology && nature.

If you want to go to a place with your dogs to take fun walks, photoshoots or LOVELY scenery, come here. It was a blast coming here and we will definitely come there again!!

This part of the greenway is fantastic. So many different kinds of views & ways to walk. Highly recommend making an afternoon of it!

Great place for an easy run.

This is one of my favorite places to go especially when I need to decompression. It’s calming relaxing and gorgeous. The trail had beautiful scenery throughout And you will always find others out exploring trails and enjoying nature . Make sure you stop to see the amazing waterfall before leaving. It’s like a little beach in Murfreesboro!! How amazing!!!!

Very nice place to walk, explore and enjoy nature. Family had a blast looking at the water and exploring. The walk was nice though a little cold at first. With it being winter, you can see many of the bird nests int he trees that are normally covered by greenery. One problem I had was the amount of trash on the ground and in the water. I dont know if anyone from the city ever comes out to clean up, but it is disgusting how many people throw their trash to the ground, especially with all the trash cans placed out here. Ignoring that, you can have an enjoyable time getting out into nature while still in the city. Saw lots of joggers and people walking. A few dogs that seemed to enjoy the water too. Great place, I recommend taking some time and going out here.

Nice place to park and walk or bike the Greenway. Very cool dam and rushing water. Great bridge that goes over the Stones River. Fishing allowed. With find TN fishing license.

Murfreesboros hidden gem. This is my favorite part of the greenway. I added some photos of my time there today.

One of the best places to spend the time. With fresh air, flowery scent, sound of the trees in the wind, and a connection with the flora and fauna you cannot find anywhere else in the city. Go biking, go running, or just go walking for a great re-energizing feeling!

This is a beautiful spot to hike, bike, fish, even kayak. There is a parking lot, a Porta-Potty, and water fountain. The dam is very scenic and a great spot to fish. I caught Large Mouth Bass and Crappie.

Murfreesboros Greenway is fantastic, there are a lot of access points. This location is close to the local Mall and shopping area, connects to Stones River battle ground, has a couple of nice fishing holes, a still and deep place to launch canoes and kayaks, and a walkway over protected wetlands.

Nice Greenway with lots of things to see. We saw an Owl and a Blue Heron while on our walk today. It was very enjoyable walk. Hope to visit again soon.

Water everywhere! Old hydro electric dam and waterfalls to the right . Boat ramp. Good parking. No restrooms. Good pathways for walking or bikes.
