Its a pretty place to visit in the day time. Stay away from there at night though. It is secluded and if something were to happen, who knows when help would arrive.
Beautiful park on the river. Not very many people use it. Clean.
We went here to listen to the Mobile Pops and watch 4th of July fireworks. There was plenty of parking within a few blocks of the park. The park has a beautiful view of the Mobile River. It is also home to a museum and a cruise line terminal. There was plenty of space to walk around. There is no admission fee and is family friendly.
Very well kept park with beautiful view of bay.
Beautiful park. Loved watching the Tug Boats and big ships navigating up and down the channel. The Maritime museum is very interesting as well.
Quiet, except for the seagulls. Great place for a morning walk.
We enjoyed just sitting there and relaxing
Nice little spot to come and unwind and clear your mind. From what I saw, it was clean.
Nice peaceful park
Great park. Awesome place for events. Nice veiws of the water and ships.
I went for pride fest 2019 and it was great! Lots of vendors, the park and restrooms were really clean.
Love this park.
Quite, peaceful bit of heaven on Mobiles river front the few days I was there.
Good very.
Public restrooms, plenty of shade and benches, and excellent views!
I went there today, not yesterday. It is a beautiful park but it is in Mobile, AL and heat index was over 100. There is very little shade so it is very hard to appreciate it when it is so hot. Shade is needed to truely appreciate this park in the summer.
I love this park and like to walk and spend time sitting watching the water and boats.
Nice hidden park in the cluttered downtown area. Great riverfront location, shaded areas for picnics, nice restroom facilities.
Nice view of water and shipyard
Beautiful park on Mobile Bay. Its very picturesque and usually has a good breeze.
Cooper Riverside was the perfect venue for Bay Bites! Maya Lunas Fish Tacos and Nachos were amazing! The band was really rocking, too!
Very nice
Very nice an view was wonderful it was actually a full moon that night we aboard our dinner cruise!!!!
Enjoyed the Nina and Pinta while they were here!
Great place to visit. While you are there you have to visit GulfQuest Maritime Museum next door its spectacular
Mobiles downtown access to the water. Good setting for everyday use + special events, like July 4th festivities. Park entrance not friendly to wheelchairs--FOUR sets of TRAIN TRACKS (beat up and dangerous, not modern and smooth) that you must cross to enter the park from Water St. A maritime museum, Gulfquest, is adjacent to the park, has its own lot and better park access for wheelchairs (but had to pay on July 4). Also adjacent is the convention center, w/parking garage underneath = easier access to the park for wheelchairs (also costs). They set up food trucks to block one set of double gates to the park, so exiting on the 4th was a nightmare against the crowd, trying to get back to the museum parking lot. The symphonic pops band played before the fireworks and an R & B-jazzy band played afterwards.
Very cool park along the river. You can park under the convention center next door. Prices vary but when we went parking was only a dollar. The park has a restroom, some benches and nice grassy areas. You can check out the ships being built at Austal and watch the tug boats pass. Watch for porpoises and other marine life.
Beautiful park. Ride on pontoon to see three rivers area.
Ronald Mcdonals event was celebrate there, was a cool moment, enjoyed with friends
Gorgeous park by the bay! Nice spot for a wedding. It has a view of a ship building company across the water. Carnival Fantasy was docked and boarding when we were there. It was amazing to watch and see the size of the ship. Best of all, it is adjacent to Gulf Quest. Its a maritime museum thats amazing.
Lovely riverfront park tucked between the Convention Center and the Gulfquest National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico.
I enjoyed it! I met someone here to give them a motorcycle seat that I promised them. I took time to walk around and soak it in. very nice condition and well built. almost empty of people, not crowded. there is a great view of the shipbuilding dock thing across the river, I remember staring at the gigantic piece of metal and thinking how amazing it is that humans can dig that stuff out of the planet, refine it and separate the good stuff, then mix it with other metals and then shape it. then melt or bolt the shapes together and form a floating city that also wages war....astonishing! absolutely incredible the things humans can do when they put their minds together.
Fun time. The riverboat tour on the Perdido Queen was great fun.
Great place to take the kids!
Beautiful riverside park where you can watch the boats go by, and conveniently located near so many other attractions.
We attended the 4th of July celebration here. Beautiful venue
It was nice, clean. Its where we we got on our tour boat at.
Very fun place to take the family. Take a tour of the museum as well. Make sure you make it to the 5th floor . Theres a great surprise in store for you. Great indoor excursions
Relaxing little waterfront park. The only thing that could make it better is if we could fish. Fun little spot to pass through on a bike ride through downtown. Kids will love watching the big ships and cute little tugboats at work in Mobiles active seaport. Getting their by walking across the skybridge is fun for the little ones too.
It was Pocahontas beautiful.
Beautiful park over looking the water and right in middle of the big city of mobile. We loved it!
Good place to rest and watch boat traffic
Nice
Lovely by the river. breeze made it cooler.
Good nice outing I love this place
I love the views here. Visited with some friends after making the first trip to the area since moving. Was happy to see the beautiful landscape. Its well kept and has great seating areas.
Nice park to sit and view port or have a picnic. Only loses a star because there isnt anything for kids. There are pokestops though for Pokemon Go. Just would have been nice to include a kids area.
It was a great MOBPride fest!!
A lovely small park to stroll and take in a view of the Mobile river. Across the river from the park is Austal USA where you can get a peek at the lastest naval ships being built. A stroll through the park will get you to the Gulf Quest National Maritime Museum. Also, if you play Pokemon Go there are a few Gyms and pokestops. The park is a good place to decompress from the pressure of the day; include on an afternoon or early evening date; or, take the kids so they can run around to burn off energy.
Very nice, cool statues, keep the kids away from the bell
Very nice place in downtown mobile with art, benches and clean!
Last year, 2015, Guests from Texas with three boys, ages 8, 10, 13, were treated very rudely by the young women in charge at the time. Grandparents sitting near me, who had brought their granddaughter, commented that their treatment from the ticket purchase onward was abrupt and rude. My guests decided they would not return due to the embarrassing treatment, although the boys enjoyed skating.
Beautiful surroundings and a great place to have a picnic.
Nice park to visit and watch the ships on the port.
A nice place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of downtown mobile without going too far. You can use the convention Centers walkway to avoid the traffic below and enjoy the view of the well-manicured park and see ship building in action.
Great place to visit
Beautiful. music festivals here are amazing.
Beautiful and peaceful.
Nice fun park!
Beautiful look at Mobile Bay
For a nice view of the Mobile River and Downtown Mobile Waterfront, Copper Park cannot be beat! This small park is often a quiet place to come relax and enjoy the little slice of downtown waterfront. it is conveniently connected to the Mobile Convention Center and the GulfQuest National Maritime Museum. Parking is available at the park (free parking) or the museum (paid parking). I believe fishing is allowed.
Little park between Mobile convention center and GulfQuest. Great for enjoying river scenery and Austral across the river and if youre lucky enough, you might see the USS Independence. Restroom available and park closes at dust. Fishing is not allowed.
Very beautiful and a great place to check out.
Nice place to take some down time. Also cool amphitheater. If youre looking for a place for kids to play this may not be the most ideal.
My first visit to the ship yard, in Mobile Alabama my kids enjoyed seeing the ships come in and working on the big boats and the statues it was very beautifull
Great place for a picnic
Nice and quite. Love taking the kids for picnics!
Awesome firework show!
Its a pretty place, but I wish Mobile could get the river cleaned up.We have seen dolphins there, though. The Gulfquest,Exploreum, and History Museum are all within walking distance from the park and so is the fort. There are, also, soany great places to eat close by(in downtown Mobile). Lastly, try to check out the Moon Pie General store if youre visiting-they have all kinds of great souvenirs plus they sell ice cream (which, believe me you need it depending on the time of year). Hotlanta is nothing compared to Steamy Mobile!
Needs a draw. No music no fishing nothing. Something should be going on all weekend.
Love very much.
Beautiful view and nice park
Nice park
Wonderful park. Great for events.
Nice little park
We always go walking on the river. Plenty of places to eat.
Chill spot
The 2nd most fantastic view of Mobile River. Rivals only the view from Dauphines Restaurant.
Great statues and on the bay of holy spirit
Very nice park for the kids. Cool maritime museum as well
I made a wish and it came true when I threw a coin In this fountain
Best place to have a prom ever, I proposed here
A breeze, shade, a Riverside view and some peace and quiet. The few vagrants usually come for the same reasons.
This place has such potential that is wasted would be a great place for Cafes and water side dining
